Marvel have finally announced that Alan Taylor, director of many episodes of "Games Of Thrones", "The Sopranos" and "Deadwood" and other shows, is has signed on to take the reins of "THOR 2", which is set for a November 2013 release date.
Sadly Patty Jenkins had to leave the sequel due to scheduling conflicts, but I think something else was going on that either she or Marvel weren't happy with. I just hope that this guy does a good job with the highly-anticipated sequel, because the first film was outstanding and I'd really prefer if Kenneth Branagh came back but hey whatever!
