Jared Harries from "Mad Men" has just officially signed onto the role of Professor Moriarty in the upcoming "Sherlock Holmes 2", once again directed by the great, Guy Richie, and starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.

Tom Cruise Spotted On "Mission Impossible" Set In Prague

Good to know that filming has began on the next "Mission Impossible" film. Supossedly the cast and crew are also heading to Dubai for three weeks of filming.
In other news, "Lost" star, Josh Holloway has joined the cast of the new film. He'll be playing a member of Ethan Hunts "Task Force" in the film.

The Saga Returns In Whopping 3D!

"The Star Wars Saga" is kicking-off with the release of "Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" in sometime in 2012. Now no one knows if the films will be released year-after-year or every two years. This is so exciting.

Captain America's Submarine

The Great Stephen Fry Cast As Sherlock's Big Brother!

IT'S OFFICIAL! Stephen Fry announced it himself on BBC 5 Live Radio Show, that he has been cast by Guy Richie to play Sherlock Holmes's older brother, Mycroft, in "Sherlock Holmes 2".

The film is set for release in December 2011.

Padme Amidala To Play Lois Lane If Darren Aronofsky Gets The Job As Director?

So it looks like director, Darren Aronofsky is so very close to achieving the role of director for the new Superman film. He announced that if he gets the job, then he will deffo cast the sexy Natalie Portman for the role of Lois Lane in the film.
Personally, she really wasn't my first choice, but she was in my "Top 10" choice of Hollywood actresses. I would have went with someone like Kate Beckinsale or even Christina Hendricks, and just change her hair colour.
But I'm sure we'll find out who's directing the new film in like the next few weeks or so and then if it is Aronofsky who gets the job, then we know who will play Lane.

On-Set Pic From "Transformers 3"

Before I start, I should officially say that I got this photo from the great, (Comingsoon.net).
Now, I have no bloody idea what the hell that big ship thing is in the photo above, but if any of you guys out there does, then please tell me. It looks awesome, but I don't know what it is.

Katy Perry In "SNL" Spoof Of Herself!

OK! Now I know this has nothing to do with film or tv shows, but it's fucking funny. If you don't know, Katy Perry went onto "Sesame Street" in the US wearing this sexy revealing top/dress thing that basically showed of her chest beautifully, but not for kids tv. It met with some controversy. OBVIOUSLY!
So here she is on "Saturday Night Live" starring in a spoof, wearing a stretched Elmo t-shirt. Seriously, you should so watch it if you get the chance to.
Here's the YouTube link to the "SNL" spoof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qP81EElmWY

Official Image From "SCRE4M"

First Look @ Chris Evans As Steve Rogers

First Look @ Hayley Atwell As Peggy Carter

Mark Ruffalo Is Playing The Stop-Motion Hulk As Well

So it looks like Mark is not only playing Bruce Banner, but he's also getting the chance to play the Hulk himself with the stop-motion that was used on James Cameron's "Avatar". This is pretty awesome, because none of the previous actors have had the chance to do this.

The Doctor Says He'll Save Amy From The Axe!

Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith has ensured fans that he wont let his sexy companion, Amy Pond, played by the beautifull Karen Gillan get the axe next year.
Rumors have been circulating since the finale of the last series in June, where Amy Pond was killed off and brought back. Then the rumors got even worse when papers were saying that she was getting bumped off next year. But she isn't and this is what Matt said on the matter, "Amy Pond can't die, no way. I'd miss Karen. So don't worry, I won't let it happen."
The producers also stood up and said that they wont let that happen as there's still tones of stories left for the two of them, before they say their goodbyes to each other.

Ex-Corrie Star In "Doctor Who: Series 6"

Sexy Suranne Jones has announced that she's signed onto an unknown role in "Series 6" of the British Sci-Fi series. She has said that she is sworen to secrecy and that she can't give any details away.
So I guess we'll just have to wait till the episode airs next year.

The Baddie From "Behind Enemy Lines" Is Up For A Mission!

It just been announced that "Behind Enemy Lines" Russian star, Vladimir Mashkov has just signed on for an unspecified role in the upcoming "Mission Impossible" sequel, "The Mission".

"Bill & Ted 3" Is Finally In Development!

Bill &Ted's third adventure is finally gonna happen. Wish the "Ghostbusters" would hurry the fuck up with theirs. Anyway, Alex Winters finally confirmed it on MTV earlies this evening. He explained that screenwriters from the original film, Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson have finally came up with a pretty excellent idea. Though there has been no word on wither Keanu Reeves will return, but Winters is. But I'm sure Reeves will seeing as he said that he wants to, but still, you never know.
The film is reportedly to be set round about 20 years after the the first two films, 1989's "Excellent Adventure" and 1991's "Bogus Adventure". So we'll see Bill & Ted rocking it out in their mid to late 40's. I guess that could work, I mean look at AC/DC and they're in their 60's and 70's (i think 70's), anyway they're old and still rocking out, plus this is a film.

One Role To Rule Them All!

Again, sorry about the cheesy title. I'm really getting out of hand with them now.
Anyway, back to the matter in hand. Above are the seven finalists (if you wanna call them that) who are all going for the unspecified lead female role in Marc Webb's 2012 "Spider-man Reboot".
Rumor has it that "Superbad" actress, Emma Stone is so very very close to bagging the role, then again, other rumors are saying that Emma Roberts is close to bagging.
In my opinion, I'd rather see Emma Stone get the role (which ever that might be), becuase she is the fucking sexy bees knees. Just thought I'd through that out there. It really would be better if someone told us what the role was deffo gonna be, like which female character the writers are going for, so that we can say which actress would fit. Obviously they know which character they're going for, but we don't, which makes it hard for us to say who we'd like to see.

Names For "Superman Reboot" Director Have Risen!

Zack Snyder (above) (300, Watchmen)
Tony Scott (True Romance, Unstoppable)
Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In)
Jonathan Liebesman (TCSM: The Beginning, Battle: LA, Clash II)
Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code)
Above are just some of the BIG name directors that Warner are looking at to direct the next Superman film, "Superman: The Man Of Steel", which is scheduled for release in Christmas 2012. Exciting stuff!
I personally think that it will be down to either Zack Snyder, seeing as he's directed two comic-book adaptions. So you say that he has some experience. But they could also end up going with someone like Duncan Jones, who has done sweet fuck with comic-book adaptions, just like Marc Webb, the new director of the "Spider-man Reboot Series". We can all see why he got the job....... "cough" his last name "cough".
But honestly, if it were up to me, I'd go for one of the Nolan Brothers. They've worked and are still working on the amazing "Batman Reboot Trilogy" and I know, they are kinda in control of the new Superman, but none of them are directing it. I guess all I and everyone can do is just sit back and wait for the result on this matter in hand.

From Scarlett To Black.....Widow That Is!

Yes, Scarlett Johansson has announced that she is getting back into that black suit for a "Black Widow" spin-off, though Marvel's Kevin Feige did announce also that "The Avengers" comes first. Johansson had already began discussions on the spin-off during the filming of "Iron Man II". Now lets just hope that this female spin-off is much better than "Daredevil" spin-off, "Electra".
"Black Widow" film will mark the third film that Johansson appears as the sexy Black Widow. The First being, "IM-II" and second being, well duh, "The Avengers" in 2012.
Johansson will also make an appearence in the upcoming "Nick Fury" spin-off film, which will also happen after "The Avengers.

Sorry about the cheesy title, just couldn't resist it! Honest

"SCRE4M: Behind The Scenes Video"

OMFG! This film is gonna be fucking awesome! I'm so looking forward to it coming out next year.
The video just basically shows us the interviews with the cast, but doesn't give much away (plot wise), but we see the cast filming some scenes with "The Killer". So no one knows who will live or who will die!AWESOME!
Here's the YouTube link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZKhBOA92I0

PS: have just made a new video blog: My ComeBack! check it out on my YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/jordanm785

Buffy In "Back To The Future: Part 4&5"?

As crazy as it may sound, and man it's fucking crazy as shit..........it's so true, well, was so true! "Buffy" star, sexy Sarah Michelle Gellar, well, Sarah Michelle Prinze was at once in talks to playing the geeky female scientist, who was to talk over from Michael J. Fox's character from the original trilogy back sometime in the 90's.
WOW!
This is explained in the "50 Sequels That Never Happened" by Moviehole.net. It tells us that there was a two-part script in the works and that the plot would be about Doc Brown causing the UFO to crash land in Roswell. Buffy's role would be to help the Doc fix things and make things right.
I guess the feel of the film(s) would be like the feel of "The Next Karate Kid", but would they work, because that fourth film with the very sexy Hillary Swank was bollocks. We'll never know. Kinda sucks though.

Moviehole.net's "50 Sequels That Never Happened"

Moviehole.net have made up this list of the sequels that should've happened, but never. You should check them out. Quite good if I must say myself.

The First Image From The "Doctor Who: 2010 Christmas Special"

So here it is! The first exclusive photo from the upcoming Christmas Special, which is rumored to be called, "Doctor Christmas".
The photo has an excellent Christmas feel to it. And gets you all excitied, not just about the episode, but about Christmas also.

Edgar Frog Talks "Lost Boys 4" Possibilities

Movieweb.com was chating with "Lost Boys" actor, Corey Feldman on the possiblities of the Frog Brothers joining forces again for a "Lost Boys 4". And basically what he said is that there are plans for a second trilogy (Lost Boys 4, 5 & 6), but really it's up to us wether we enjoy the third film "The Thirst".
The second film, "The Tribe" didn't do well with critics, but did do well with fans and sales, hence the release of number 3. This film and any future film will go down the exact same way.
There are rumors that if there is a fourth film, it would possibly get a theatrical release. Not over here in the UK, but most likely just in the US. It'll just be direct-to-DVD for us.

"Lost Boys III: The Tribe" is released on DVD on October 5th (in the US) and October 18th for us and any other places outside the US probably.

Bruno Cast As Freddie Mercury!

This is soooooo awesome! Finally, a filmmaker out there is making a Freddie Mercury bio-pic. And the best thing is, it's starring "Bruno" star, Sacha Baron Cohen as the man himself, Freddie Mercury. When you actually look at him, he could totally pull it off, and pull it off fantastically. Just can't wait for this film to come out.

And The Title To The New "Mission Impossible" Is..............

..........."THE MISSION".
Yes! "The Mission". Tom Cruise announced it the other day on his Twiter page. As this film is marked as a reboot, you can kinda understand why the name is to be different, as it was originally just gonna be called, "Mission Impossible".
I personally kinda like the new title and can't wait for the film to come out in cinemas around the globe.

Is Bollywood Saving "Bond 23"?

According to various sources, "Bond 23" is soon to be saved by a Bollywood investor, Sahara India, who is possibly gonna be the new MGM suitor. This is good news, as it means that "Bond 23" could actually be back on track for good. WOOOOHOOOO!
Sahara has reportedly offered MGM, $2billion to help get the famous British-Spy franchise up and running again for a possible 2012 release.
Now, there's only one wee tiny thing that could be shit if it true. There are rumors circulating that if Sahara gets the deal, he may recast Craig and bring in one of his Bollywood actors instead to take on the role of Jame Bond. UH-OH!

Andy Leaves Spartacus...........

Now I really hate this as much as you lot hate this. But it looks like Andy Whitfields cancer has returned. This time it's worse, as it's made him leave the show. He was advised by his doctor.
Starz have released no comment on wether they will recast the character or just finish after the prequel airs in January 2011.
Pre-Production on "Series 2" of the hit show was to start very soon, with Whitfield thought to have beaten his cancer.

Is This A Leaked Trailer For A Live-Action "Pokemon" Film?

Now, no one has a clue wether this is a leaked trailer for an upcoming live-action adaption of "Pokemon" or if it's a fake fan trailer. Whatever it is, it's pretty fucking cool looking to me.
Here's the YouTube link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFUD7thPctQ

Dr Watson May Play Bilbo After All?

Now, I did report that Martin Freeman had turned down the offer to play Bilbo in "The Hobbit", as he would not be able to do "Sherlock". But now it looks like he may be playing both after all.
According to Movieweb.com, it turns out that MGM have came up with an alternative shooting schedule, so that Freeman can be able to do both projects. Sweet!

First Look @ Agents Of The H.Y.D.R.A

They look really cool with their futuristic motorbikes. I wonder what photo will come next? Possibly Hugo Weaving as The Red Skull.

First Look @ Captain Americas Suit

How fucking epic is this! Finally we get the first image of Chris Evans in the Captain America suit. It looks so cool on him. Loving his shiny shield.

Amy Pond & River Song To Die?

The Sun Newspapers insider has said that things are gonna change next year in "Doctor Who", as both River Song and Amy Pond will face their end.
Amy Pond has been said to die in the "Series 6: Part 1" finale before the mid-season break in the Easter and River Song is to die at the end of "Series 6: Part 2" in the Autumn.
Now for the good news. I can tell you that Steven Moffat, Matt Smith and karen Gillan have all publicly announced that Amy Pond is not going to die, altough there is a mega plot twist of a finale.
And now for some more great news. Matt Smith has announced that he's officially signed on for the role up to it's 50th aniversary in 2013.
But now for the bad news. River Song is possibly gonna die, because no one has announced that she will live or not, only that Amy will live. UH-OH! Maybe River will die. Maybe she won't. But she did say at the end of "The Big Bang" in "Series 5", "Then you will learn the truth about me and everything will change."

Dr Watson Turns Down Role In "The Hobbit"?

It's been said that Martin Freeman (above, right), has turned down a seven-figure offer to play the younger version of Bilbo Baggins in "The Hobbit". WOW! He has reportedly turned it down as he is commited to a 20 week shoot on "Sherlock: Series 2", which has been confirmed by Steven Moffat to begin filming next summer.

No Daleks In "Series 6"?

Steven Moffat has has given fans a very strong hint that The Daleks will not be making an appearence in the next series of "Doctor Who". Not the worst thing in the world. He said that he would rather bring on some brand new monsters and aliens, instead of depending on the old. But he didn't rule out on them not returning, he just says that he doesn't know yet.
"There will be a Dalek story when we've got a good idea for a Dalek story. [When that happens], there will be lots of different kinds of Daleks." said Moffat while speaking at the 2010 Edinburgh Festival. Son only time will tell. Would be good to see them back, but hey, if they're not back, then see yah in "Series 7" guys.

Class Is In Session!

That's right people. Filming on "X-Men: First Class" has began in Pinewood Studios in London. According to MovieWeb.com, some of the first scenes being filmed involve Charles Xavier attending Oxford University debating the mutant phenomenon, and Erik Lensherr dealing with the horrifying events in Auschwitz via a flashback sequence.

Is Gemma Arterton The New Ripley?

Bond actress, Gemma Arterton is now in talks with Ridley Scott about the lead female part in his two upcoming "Alien" prequels. According to various sites, Scott was so pleased with her performance in "The Disappearence Of Alice Creed" that he wants her in his "Alien" prequels. Nice One!

Details On "DREDD"

So far we know that the new film is to be called "DREDD". And that both Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby have signed on for the roles of Judge Dredd and Anderson. Now we have news on what the plot of the film will be about. And here it is,
DREDD takes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) is the most feared of elite Street Judges, with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders and execute them on the spot - if necessary. The endlessly inventive mind of writer Alex Garland and the frenetic vision of director Peter Travis bring DREDD to life as a futuristic neo-noir action film that returns the celebrated character to the dark, visceral incarnation from John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra's revered comic strip.

Kevin Pennington To Play The Human Torch?

Actor Kevin Pennington is in talks with Fox to playing Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in "Fantastic Four: Reborn". He is just one of the names on the choice list for the role by Fox. Another name tossed around is newcomer Cody Sousa. I wonder who will get it?

"True Blood" Star In Talks To Play Doom?

Fox have announced that they are in talks with "True Blood" star, Stephen Moyer about taking on the role of Dr Doom in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot.
I personally think he would be a perfect choice for the role, even though I've never watched him in anything. It's just the look of him. He's got a very evil look to him.

Olivia Thirlby Will Play Anderson In "Dredd"

Olivia Thirlby has officially signed onto what is now called, "Dredd" as the character of Judge Anderson. The character is the new rookie in the film that becomes Dredds partner.

Mr White To Join "The Office"?

So seeing as Steve Carrell announced that he will be leaving "The Office" after it's 7th season. Looks like the creators are carrying the show on without him. They are planning to bring in a new character to play the new boss of Dunder Mifflin, with "Reservior Dogs" star Harvey Keitel taking on that role.
There has been confirmation by the producers that Keitel is a strong contender for the role, but he is one of many big names auditioning for the role of the new boss. Hopefully we'll find out very soon. But I have a very funny feeling that if they do carry the show in without Carrell, then it will probably get cancelled, just like "Scrubs".
