Magneto Being Considered For "ROBOCOP"

Jose Padilha has spoken out about who he thinks could play his Robocop in his reboot of the 80's classic. He really thinks that "X-Men: First Class" star, Michael Fassbender would be perfect for the role. He said that he loved Fassbender in "First Class" and wants to arrange a meeting with him to discuss the role of Robocop.
I for one think that Fassbender would also be perfect for the role. First Magneto, role in Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" and now (very possibly) Robocop and most likely James Bond next when Daniel Craig leaves. Michael Fassbender is going to have a hell of a movie career to look back on when he's retired.

"Fringe" Star To Play Lex Luthor?

"Fringe" star, Michael Cerveris has been reportedly being considered, by Zach Snyder to appear as Lex Luthor in his upcoming "Superman" reboot, "Superman: The Man Of Steel".
Luthor will not likely appear for the full of the new movie. He'll most likely cameo near the end of the film, for a set-up to the sequel.

"Captain America" Sequel Out For 2014?

While speaking to some shity magazine, "Captain America" star, Chris Evans mentioned that "Captain America 2" may not be out till about 2014. He said that there were plans to squeeze the sequel in with the 2013 Marvel releases, but said that 2014 will most likely be the right year for it.
Evans also confirmed that he's signed a six-picture deal with Marvel and it's Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which consists of three "Captain America" films and three "Avengers" films. He said that his character will probably not pop up in any other Marvel Cinematic Universe films, unless they want to pay him MEGA money to do so, which probably wont happen.

The Doctors Time Is Coming To An End.......Again!

The 11th Doctors time is coming to a close, as next week will see the "death" of the Matt Smiths Doctor in Utah. Even though Matt Smith is coming back for this years Xmas Special and next years "Series 7", you can't not think that something major is going to happen to The Doctor anyway. Whats going to happen to him? After watching last nights episode, "Closing Time", especially the last 5 minutes of it, it makes you think,
"HOLY FUCK!!! IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING????".
And the teaser for next episode was amazing, really hope James Corden comes back next year. Really think that his character could come back every season, while Smith is still The Doctor. Looking at next weeks episode, you can see that the shit is gonna go down in the finale. Hopefully all questions for the whole season will be answered and hopefully will not be dragged too much through to next years season.
Love how some things popped up at the end of last nights episode that appeared in episode one of this season. We saw The Doctor borrowing envolopes that are eventually going to be sent to his companions and River Song. We also saw him getting a Stetson, which was given to him by James Cordens character, Craig.
I think that the season finale will be quite emotional for The Doctor and for the fans too. I'll deffo cry if something bad happens to the TARDIS team. Hope we see River Song getting ready to go back to visit David Tennants 10th Doctor, which should be happening sometime soon, seeing as though she's now a Doctor.........SPOILERS!!!!

Justin Lin Not Directing "Terminator 5" Anymore!

It's been announced that "Fast & Furious" franchise helmer, Justin Lin has sadly had to leave the "Terminator" franchise, before he even got to make one film.
He's been reportedly in discussions with Arnie and rights owner, Megan Ellison over the films plot and what he'd do to the franchise, to bring it back to life and how to forget the previous two (slighly cocked up) installments. Lin was set to put the first of the two films into production sometime in 2012, but he's now not able to do so until he finished his shitty 6th and hopefully final "Fast & Furious" film first.
The door has been left open for Lin to return as director, but for now, no movement will be made on the franchise.

New "ROBOCOP" Reboot To Be Nothing Like 80's Original!

During an interview with online site, Film1, new "ROBOCOP" reboot director, Jose Padilha mentioned that his new version of the cyborg cop film will be completely different than the 80's original.
This is what he said,
Earlier this year, you announced that the reboot of RoboCop will direct. The original from 1987, directed by Dutch director Paul Verhoeven , with that movie made its debut in Hollywood. How will your vision differ from those of Verhoeven?
I love the sharpness and political tone of RoboCop , and I think that such a film is now urgently needed. But I will not repeat what Verhoeven has done so clearly and strongly. Instead I try to make a film that will address topics that Verhoeven untreated. If you are a man changes into a robot, how do you do that? What is the difference between humans and robots developed? What is free will? What does it mean to lose your free will? Those are the issues that I think.
RoboCop is your first movie in America. Like the political apparatus of Rio de Janeiro, the Hollywood film industry, a system in which not everyone thrives. What is your strategy to survive in Hollywood?
I try to make movies that I like, that I feel and I deal with social problems involved. I will continue to do where I work. If I can develop in Hollywood, then I make a movie with all the means Hollywood. If that fails, then that movie is not. It is that simple!

Amy & Rory Confirmed For Xmas Special!

Obviously if you've been watching "Doctor Who", you'll have saw the departure of Amy and Rory last week in epsiode 11, "The God Complex". Even though Karen Gillan confirmed that she was returning as Amy Pond full-time next year for "Series 7", I actually thought she was lying after what we saw.
But it turns out that herself and Arthur Darvill (Rory) have been confirmed to be appearing in this years Christmas Special, as they were spotted on-set of the Wales shoot for the seasonal episode. All I can say is, "THANK GOD!!!!".

Some New Pics From "Superman: The Man Of Steel" Sets!

So, we have Henry Cavill as Superman, looking as though the crew are filming him taking off in the air. Then we have Cavill in Clark Kent form, cycling to work, but why he's not wearing his glasses.....I don't know. Maybe there just practicing the scene before fully shooting it.
And last we have Michael Shannon as General Zod, but for some reason he ain't in a motion-capture suit like originally on-set pics. Maybe for only some scenes, he's got a motion-capture suit.

Kevin Costner Leaves "Django Unchained" But Film Gains Two More Actors!

"Superman: The Man Of Steel" actor, Kevin Costner has sadly dropped out of his role in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming western, "Django Unchained".
Even though he dropped out, two new actors have dropped in. Two actors by the names of Samuel L "Motherfucking" Jackson and Gerard McRaney. It's unknown which characters these actors are playing, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

The film is expected to be out sometime next year hopefully.

Uncle Ben & Spartacus Die!

Hi guys, I haven't been able to be online, updating my blog, but now I'm back and this post may be late but here it is anyway.
Over a week ago, two more great actors sadly passed away. First was "Spartacus: Blood And Sand" star, Andy Whitfield, who sadly died of Lymphoma at the age of 39, on September 9th and second was Uncle Ben himself, Cliff Robertson, just one day after his 88th birthday on September 12th.
Whitfield had been battling his ilness for some time now. This was the reason why he could not continue as Spartacus in the Starz tv show. And Robertson, basically just died of old age.
They will both be missed dearly by both their family and fans.

The Daleks Are Back!!!

I never knew this till the other day, but it looks like Steven Moffat was lying about the return of the Daleks, because it turns out that they are making a grand return at the end of this years season. It's rumored that they may only be making a cameo appearence, but they're still returning though.
They are exepcted either return in episode 11, "The God Complex", which is on TV next week or episode 12, "Closing Time", which will feature James Corden and the return of the Cybermen.

"300" Prequel Possibly Getting Cameos From Butler & Headey!

"300" producer, Bernie Goldman has revealed that the new "300" prequel, "300: Battle Of Artimisia" will have a brand-new cast (obviously), but she said that there is still room for two members of the first film to come back and make cameo appearences at the start of the new film.
Those two cast members are no other than Gerard Butler and Lena Headey. They are both being offered their roles back for a cameo in the new prequel, obviously there is no confirmation wether they will take it or not, but I'm sure they will, as it is just a small cameo.

Gerard Butler confirmed that he will be making a brief cameo in the upcoming prequel.

Patrick Lussier Discusses Plot Of "Halloween 3D"

"My Bloody Valentine 3D" director, Patrick Lussier gave "Halloween" fans an EPIC update on his 3D "Halloween" sequel to Rob Zombie's "Halloween" remake films. He said that the script for the upcoming sequel is complete. It was wrote by himself and fellow writer, Todd Farmer.
This is what "Halloween 3D" will be about, ”Basically we opened at the end of Rob’s movie; the whole first act is the end of Rob’s movie, at the end of which Michael is killed. But instead of Scout stabbing Michael… Rob had these visions and things, so we had it so that she thinks she’s killing Michael, but it’s a vision and she’s actually been stabbing Loomis. And then Michael puts the mask on her and she stumbles outside (as we see in the theatrical version of ‘Halloween II’), and then when she takes the mask off that’s when we’d switch to 3D. It would be flat until then. Anyway, Laurie survives and is taken to a mental institution, and then Michael returns, but it’s not Rob’s Michael that returns, it’s the Shape – he stalks, he gets the original white mask back, and the coveralls. So it’s still in Rob’s world, but with the Carpenter version of Michael. And of course we had a great role for Tom Atkins; he’d be playing the doctor of the hospital. And the whole time the TV in the rec room would be playing the Silver Shamrock theme, and at one point Atkins would walk by and yell (Farmer switches to a damn good Atkins impression) “Turn that shit off!” And I’d keep my pants on this time. Also, there was never anyone cast. Our intention was to bring his cast back, but it never got that far. Scout may have seen an outline, but no one was ever in negotiations, I’m certain no one was officially attached.”

"First Class" Sequel Heading For The 70's?

While chating to Crave online, "X-Men" franchise producer, Lauren Shuler Donner spoke out about a possible sequel to Matthew Vaughn's "X-Men: First Class". She said that she thinks that the sequel will head foward to the 70's. Below is the whole interview,
For future films in the franchise, will you keep doing the historical thing or will you go back to the more modern era anytime soon?
Lauren Shuler Donner-Well, if we were going to sequelize this and keep on going, we would stay in the next [time] period. Probably we’d go to the 70’s.
‘X-Men: First Class.’ The best ‘X-Men’ movie so far. I think so, other people think so. A lot of people didn’t think the last two were good. Was there a concerted effort to do something differently with ‘X-Men: First Class,’ besides obviously the period change?
Lauren Shuler Donner-Yeah. Every time we make a movie we try to make it a little bit different, so that you’re not seeing the same thing over and over again. But yes, you know, we were aware that… I wasn’t too pleased with those movies. We just wanted to make something that was a fan-pleaser. There are many elements that go into making a movie, and not all of them came together. But in this one, yes, we made a concerted effort to reinvent it.
Was it easy getting Matthew Vaughn back? He was on ‘X-Men 3’ for a little while, but it didn’t happen. Did he have to be convinced?
Lauren Shuler Donner-Well, this time we had a really good script! And it was sort of the right place at the right time, you know, and as I said, Bryan [Singer] said, “Hey, look at the script. I can’t do it. Read it.” And Matthew said he read the script, hoping he’d hate it. [Laughs.] And he called up Bryan and said, “I like it!” And that was it! Everybody made up and said, hey, let’s do it. And by the way, Matthew also directed Kick-Ass, which was so good…

Brazilian Model Up For Role Of Bond Girl?

Brazilian model, Ana Araujo is said to be in the running for the role of the classic Bond girl in the upcoming "BOND 23" film. Araujo is the girlfriend of Rolling Stone star, Ronnie Woods........lucky bastard!
I really think she is hot and is right for the role, although I do think that the studio should try and go for actresses that we know, rather than foreign girls, who have most likely got nude in a film or something.
