John Jr Has Been Cast For "Die Hard 5"

"Spartacus: Blood & Sand" star, Jai Courtney has been officially cast as Bruce Willis's son, John Jr in the upcoming fifth "Die Hard" film, "A Good Day To Die Hard", even though this title will not be the UK one. Like the last one, Americans got a cool title, "Live Free Or Die Hard" and what did we get..."Die Hard 4.0", I mean c'mon, seriously?! So it'll happen again with this one. They get that title and we'll get plain old "Die Hard 5.0" or something.
Anyway, back to the news on his son being cast. It's been rumored that Courtney could actually be returning for Willis's 6th and final film too and we're going to see him take over the role and continue on the franchise with his own "Die Hard" films. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Willis pass the vest onto Jai Courtney. He looks the part.

The UK Title For "The Avengers" Has Been Changed!

The Good thing, we are now getting "The Avengers" one day earlier than before. The bad thing, the title has changed for UK cinemas. It's been changed from Marvel's "The Avengers" to the dumb new title, "Avengers Assemble". The guys over at Disney have said that they changed it so that no one can get this new film mixed up with the original 60's spy show thing, "The Avengers".
My thought, how the fuck are people going to get this mixed the fuck up seriously?! The word "Marvel" is at the start of the title to tell that it's from Marvel.......FUCKING HELL!!!! So now it turns out that they're keeping the title this way. Still, I'm so going to go and see this kick-ass film, wether the title is shite or not, NUFF SAID!!!!

Brand New Poster For "The Avengers"

Holy fucking shit! The new poster is amazing. Finally we get a proper poster of the team assembled. Not long till the new trailer hits the web. It hits tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th of March.

Sherlock Holmes To Go Head-2-Head With The Doctor Next Year?

So Benedict Cumberbatch might be in "Doctor Who" after all, but just not as The Doctor.............but as the Timelord villain and arch-nemesis, The Master! Yes, "Sherlock" star, Benedict Cumberbatch has been rumored to be taking on the role of The Master for the special 50th anniversary episode next year.
BBC insiders have commented saying that Cumberbatch would and is a perfect match for the role and I totally agree with them all. I mean I'd love to see him as The Doctor, but The Master will do.
Seeing as this is only just a rumor, we can only hope that it's true. I'm assuming that seeing as it's The Doctors BIG 50th anniversary next year, then The Master must make some sort of an appearence.

McG Talks More About His Failed "Superman: Flyby" Film!

Over the past few weeks, "Charlie's Angels" director, McG has spoken out about his failed "Superman: Flyby" film that he was set to make back around 2002/2003. He had present Superman, Henry Cavill signed on for the role of the "man of steel" and he had Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr signed on for the role of baldy villain, Lex Luthor.
Again, during another interview about his latest film, "This Means War", McG was once again questioned about his "man of steel" film. This is what he said, "I did indeed cast Henry Cavill [as Superman]. He's a fantastic actor, he's very, very strong and he's wonderful. I think Zack Snyder's going to do a great job with Henry Cavill. I can't wait to see that picture."
"I'm heartbroken that I never made my Superman, but it was my own [frick]-up because I was afraid of flying and couldn't get down to Australia. I got properly thrown off that picture, sacked for being a mental case! You live and learn, you keep on truckin'."
After watching the interview, I searched and searched on Google Images and came across some behind-the-scenes pics (below) of costume designers designing the suit that Henry Cavill would have put on in "Superman: Flyby". It looks fucking amazing!!!! Way much better than Tim Burtons dredded weird looking fucking suit that he was going to give his Superman, who was going to be played by Nic "Ghost Rider" Cage, back in like 1997 or something.

RoboCop Has Been Cast!

Swedish/American actor, Joel Kinnaman has been announced as the lucky actor to take on the role of RoboCop in MGM's upcoming reboot of the iconic franchise. Kinnanman is the lead actor in the American remake of "The Killing". I've never seen it, but I heard he's good in it.
I kind of like the fact that they've chosen a smaller actor than someone big, but I would have loved to see the likes of Michael Fassbender and Timothy Olyphant take on the role, but this guy will do.

David Morrissey Is Set To Play The Governor In "The Walking Dead"

"Thorne" star, David Morrissey has officially signed onto the cast of "The Walking Dead: Series 3". He will be playing the notorious Governor character from the comic books.

Some New On-Set Pics From "Star Trek 2"

Here's our first look at the crew members in action and our first looks at Benedict Cumberbatch's villain, which by the looks of it............IT AINT KHAN AT ALL!!!!
According to Zoe Salanda, who plays Uhura, she said in an interview either yestarday or today that JJ Abrams is upset about these leaks of on-set pics. I just thought I'd post them because everyone else is.

"Doctor Who: Series 7" Begins Filming!

Filming for the new series of "Doctor Who" went underway yestarday and this first pic of the current TARDIS team was released to keep fans going until the series premiere later this year.
The BBC also confirmed that there will be 14 full episodes for the new series, "Fourteen big, blockbuster-movie episodes - each a brand new epic adventure featuring new monsters and some familiar foes as you've never seen them before.”
They also mentioned what the episodes will be like, “Series 7 will then see a dramatic turn of events when The Doctor meets a new friend. Prepare yourselves for thrills, adventures and dramatic surprises as the show builds towards its enormous, climactic 50th anniversary year.”

Robert Downey Jr Was Set To Play Lex Luthor In "Flyby"

Director McG was in an interview discussing his new film, "This Means War" and during it he was questioned about his abandoned 2004 "Superman: Flyby" live-action film idea. He said that he cast current Superman, Henry Cavill as his "Man Of Steel". Now the next part was fucking strange, but at the same time, very fucking interesting, but McG mentioned that himself and Warner had Robert "Iron Man" Downey Jr signed on for the role of villain Lex Luthor in his film.
This is what he said about that casting and details on the film, "We had Robert Downey Jr. locked up to be Lex Luthor, which I think would have been extraordinary," McG enthused. But his pick for the Big Blue Boyscout is actually much less of a surprise. "Ironically, we liked Henry Cavill a lot, but we hadn’t cast him yet," he says of the actor currently wearing the tights in the upcoming "Man Of Steel." "J.J. wrote the script, and we got that to a really good place in the end," he says of the film, the first in a proposed trilogy. "But I’m to blame for [the film not happening]."
Could McG's Superman film have been great or even just worth watching or would it have been a train wreck, especially with the casting of Downey Jr as Luthor??? I guess we'll just never ever find out!!!

Gambit Being Considered For "Daredevil" Reboot?

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" star, Taylor Kitsch is the latest name that joined the short-list of actors who are up for the role of the new rebooted "Daredevil". It's been suggested that it's a rumor and wont happen seeing as he's now John Carter for the upcoming Disney franchise, "John Carter Of Mars" film series, which begins this year.
The other contenders who are close to the role are Bradley Cooper, Garret Hedlund and Xavier Samuel.

Millar Says "Kick-Ass 2" Filming This Summer!

Mark Millar has confirmed that "Kick-Ass 2" will begin filming this Summer. There's some speculation that he's just pulling our leg, because there's no actuall confirmation from the studio that released the first film, Marv Films. Millar also revealed that the big Hollywood suits have a writer and director in mind for the new sequel.

Who I Think Should Play The New Team Of "Young Guns"

I enjoy doing my own "fan casting" on films and tv shows, but mainly films. My latest one is a fan cast for a reboot of the 80's western classic, "Young Guns". If I was to choose any director to direct it, I would choose Robert Rodriguez and have Quentin Tarantino as producer. I know Tarantino is making a western already, "Django Unchained", but I still think he'd be great for working with Rodriguez on this too. I'd also have the two of them pen the script for it as well. So below is my new cast for the film,

Garret Hedlund As Billy The Kid
Now I know I stagged him rotten when doing my review for "Tron: Legacy", because I generally didn't like him in it. I thought he was wrong for the role of Sam Flynn. I do on the other hand think he'd be perfect for the role of Billy The Kid in a new "Young Guns" film, hence why I've cast him here.

Henry Cavill As Doc Scurlock
I truely think that Cavill would be great in a western in general, so why not start here and cast him in a "Young Guns" reboot or just a new sequel as Billy The Kid's right-hand man.

Michael Fassbender As Dick Brewer
Now Dick Brewer dies half way through the original "Young Guns" film, but really he didn't die like that in real life, so I'd base this film on the real true events of Billy The Kid and his gang. This means that Dick lived on for a while longer, and I loved Fassbender in "Jonah Hex", even though the film was shite. So I'd give him another chance at a cowboy film.

Eli Roth As Dirty Steve
Just cast him as this role.........ENOUGH SAID!!!

James McAvoy As Charlie Bowdre
Another perfect actor for this role. When I look at the picture of Casey Siemasko playing Bowdre in the old  "Young Guns", I see James McAvoy playing the role too.

Zachary Quinto As Jose Chavez y Chavez
I know Quinto doesn't look anything like a native-American, but just give him a lot of make-up like what they did with Lou Diamond Phillips. Phillips wasn't even native-American, so it can work well.

Anthony Head As John Tunstall
I'd definetly cast Head as the gangs mentor, John Tunstall, who we all know dies early on in the original film.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan As Lawrence Murphy
I originally was going to cast Morgan as Pat Garret, but I think Josh Brolin would be better and Morgan would be better as the films main villain, who the gang are after. He's the character who kills the gangs mentor near enough after the start of the film.

And finally

Josh Brolin As Pat Garret
Like I said above, Josh Brolin is a much better fit as Pat Garret, who eventually kills Billy The Kid.

First Screen-Shots From "The Walking Dead" Video Game!

IGN have released the first screen-shots of their upcoming video game verison of "The Walking Dead". They also revealed that this new game will have nothing to do with the AMC TV series. It's being adapted from the comic books, but it'll feature a new set of characters too.

"Wrath Of The Titans" Director To Direct New "TMNT" Reboot Film?

"Wrath Of The Titans" director, Jonathan Liebesman is reportedly in final negotiations with Paramount to direct their reboot of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". If he gets the job, then he'll join forces with producers Michael Bay and Brad Fuller to bring the turtles back to life again in live-action form.
Paramount are hoping to release the new film out sometime next year or at the latest, Summer 2014.

My "Doctor Who: The New Movie" Cast!

If "Doctor Who" did ever become a full on movie, then this is the cast that I'd love to see for it. I'm just casting the main cast, The Doctor, The Master and The Companion.
First I'll start with The Doctor. Now I'm not counting The Doctor as like the 12th or 13th. He's just The Doctor.

James McAvoy As The Doctor
I personally think he'd be amazing as The Doctor. I'd have him keep his Scottish accent. I don't think he'd get it or even go for it in real life, but he'd be my choice.

Andrew Garfield As The Doctor
He'd be great for when McAvoy's Doctor regenerates. He's another really good British actor who play a good Doctor. Again, he'd probably be too tied up with being Spider-Man and wouldn't be able to play The Doctor too. People might say that he's too similar to our TV Doctor, Matt Smith, but I like Garfield so there.

And now it's time to cast The Master. Again, there will be two of them.

Michael Sheen As The Master
I've always said that Michael Sheen would be a great Doctor, but I'd probably see him more as The Master instead. He can be very creepy in some of his roles and he'd suit this role perfectly.

Andrew Scott As The Master
"Sherlock" star, Andrew Scott would then take over from Sheen as The Master. I loved him as Moriarty in BBC's "Sherlock" and I thought straight away that he'd be a great Master if he was ever given the choice. I'd probably see him more as The Master in the "Doctor Who" TV series rather than a film, but what the heck.

Finally, it's time to cast the companion.

Gemma Arterton As The Companion to both Doctors
She's like super hot and seems like a down-to-earth type of girl. I'd think she's make a pretty good job as a companion to The Doctor, wether on TV or on the BIG-screen. I think she should stay on and play the companion to both of The Doctors.

"Ghost Rider 3" Is On The Cards Over At Sony!

The two directors of this years "Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance", which is out this Friday, have spoken out about a possible third film, with them both returning to direct it.  Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have said, "There's been talk about [a sequel]," and they went on and said this,"I know Nic[olas Cage] wants to do it, he's very pumped about it. We'll just to see how well [this] does."

Stallone Considering Making "RAMBO 5" Afterall?

Script writer, Sean Hood, who announced last year that he had wrote a script for a fifth "RAMBO" film went onto his Twitter last week and gave fans a brief update about the new sequel. He said that Sly Stallone is kind of thinking about doing it afterall, but he's not totally that sure about it yet, but he is thinking about it which is the main thing that fans want to hear.
Hoods words were that Stallone is going to decide wether or not the last film for him as John Rambo will be like "Unforgiven" or just a "passing of the torch", meaning he may let the franchise carry on without him, but we'll just have to wait and seen.

Teaser Poster For "Machete Kills"

A few days ago it was announced that filming for the "Machete" sequel, "Machete Kills" is set to begin sometime this April. Now we have a poster to go along with it, which is awesome! Now I know this teaser poster for the "Machete Kills" looks fake, but it's actually real.

First Teaser Trailer For "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" Is Here!

"Machete Kills" Begins Filming This April!

So it looks like filming for the "Machete" sequel is happening quicker than expected, because the first films director, Robert Rodriguez confirmed that he plans to begin filming in April. This is whats he said, "The fan response to the Machetecharacter has been fanatical since his first appearance," Robert Rodriguez said. "Machete is truly a super hero and Machete Kills will be bigger and more ambitious than the first time."
Here's the sequel, "Machete Kills" synopsis, The new film finds Machete recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy.
I'm loving the fact that the sequel is going to be out sooner than expected, but I just have one question........WHERE THE FUCK IS "SIN CITY 2"????

The New "Amazing Spider-Man" Trailer Has Landed!

This new trailer is fucking outstanding!!!! This is the new "Spider-Man" that I'm glad we have. The new footage is amazing, pardon the pun. It looks great. The cast look great. I love the fact that we still don't get a full look at Rhys Ifans's Lizard. We're still teased with some shots of him.
Love the fact that Captain George Stacey has a bigger role in this film. He really wants to take down Spidey in this new film. Loving the CGI of Spidey. Not so much CGI by the looks of it, which is good, because the previous films, I think, used too much CGI.
Here's the YouTube link to the new "Amazing Spider-Man" trailer: http://youtu.be/-tnxzJ0SSOw
