Final Wolverine Film To Explore The Father/Son Relationship Between Logan & Xavier!

Since announced earlier this year that Hugh Jackman's 3rd solo Wolverine film will mark is FINAL appearance as Logan, Patrick Stewart has announced that he'll appear in Wolverine 3 alongside Jackman's final chapter.
Fans have been wondering where the final film will take the duo. Rumors have been circulating for ages on what the final film will be about. Hugh Jackman has expressed interest in adapting the "Old Man Logan" comic book arc, and fans have gotten excited about that prospect as well as express their sadness to see the end of Hugh Jackman's, what, 16/17 year rein as Wolverine, well 17 or so once this next solo movie is out.
Hugh Jackman has since announced that the film will dive deep into the relationship between Xavier and Logan, exploring the father/son relationship that's, well, blossomed, through the X-Men franchise.
I would be happy to see this ending to Jackman's rein as Wolverine. Have his final film with the man who practically was his father figure to him through the franchise. It'll be sad to see them both together for one final time before, we can all assume, Wolverine gets rebooted and a new, younger actor is brought in to take over.
And on that note, Hugh Jackman has expressed interest to see Mad Max - Fury Road actor, Tom Hardy, take over the Wolverine role. Now that's a not bad piece of fan casting right there people. But, if you don't like that, then I've got one thing to say to you..........

Rachel McAdams is the latest actor/actress to be confirmed to join the highly anticipated Doctor Strange movie for Marvel and Disney's MCU. She will be joining Sherlock Holmes himself, Benedict Cumberbatch, who will be playing the title role of Doctor Stephen Strange.
There is no word as of yet which role she will be taking on in the 14th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Word is that she will be playing Clea, who is Strange's lover in the comic book series.

Doctor Who News - The Impossible Girl Is No More......CONFIRMED!!!

Just days after news broke that current companion, Jenna Louise Coleman, was leaving or has already quit Doctor Who, Coleman herself has confirmed yesterday that she will indeed be leaving the show an that she has already filmed her final scenes. She has teased that her final scenes will be emotional for fans to see. Coleman confirmed her departure on BBC Radio 1 show to DJ Nick Grimshaw,

“I have left the TARDIS, I have, it’s happened. I’ve filmed my last scenes. It was emotional. It’s been in the works for a very long time."

Jenna Louise added that she discussed her departure over a year ago with Head Writer Steve Moffat. They were discussing what the perfect ending for Clara would be. It's been said that she will be killed off near the end of this new series, which begins tonight on BBC One at 7:40pm.
Jenna Louise Coleman's Clara Oswald is now the longest lasting companion alongside Karen Gillan's Amy Pond in the NuWho seasons of Doctor Who. Both have lasted a whole three years on the long running British sci-fi show.
It's going to be sad to see her go but at the end of the day, everyone needs to leave Doctor Who at some point. No one can stay there forever. I wonder how she'll die or who or what will kill her? This could mean that Game Of Thrones actress, Maisie Williams COULD be playing The Doctor's next companion.......

Star Wars Episode VIII Adds An Unusual Suspect?

A week or so back, Guardians Of The Galaxy actor, Benicio Del Toro, pretty much confirmed that he's snatched up an important role in Rian Johnson's Star Wars - Episode VIII. He said that he's signed on to play the films lead villain. Now, that led to some speculation that Adam Driver's villain in this years The Force Awakens, must not survive, which kind of left me in a bit of a shit mood.
Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see Benicio play a big villain in Star Wars, seeing as he missed out on playing Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness a few years back. In saying that, I don't want us to loose Kylo Ren too quickly like with the demise of Phantom Menace villain, Darth Maul. He was made out to be this bad ass and could've been the Vader of the prequels. I assumed Driver's Kylo Ren was going to be the Vader of the sequels but possibly not now. So here's hoping the same doesn't go with Ren.

THAT WAS LAST WEEK.....
THIS WEEK, I.E. TODAY, DEL TORO TELLS US THIS....

Benicio Del Toro, who only last week or so said he was confident he was signing on and then he said he had and that he was playing the LEAD VILLAIN in Episode VIII, which is set to begin filming later this month, if not already started filming, in Ireland with Mark Hamill, Oscar Issac and John Boyega to be the only actors so far to be confirmed to return for further sequel, MAY not be playing the LEAD VILLAIN in the next sequel. He's still saying he's in the film, but his character may or may not be a villain. He says it's how some people read the scripts and understanding, etc. Some people are kept in the dark with some things, so YES, Del Toro could still be playing the lead villain or a villain or some sort, but maybe his role is kept a secret or underwraps slightly for now, again, only time will tell. All we as fans can do is guess and start theories and shit.

Doctor Who News - Series Nine Titles.....

Fans have finally received confirmation via the BBC on what the titles of all 12 episodes of series nine will be, which starts this Saturday at 7:40pm on BBC One. Happy title then sad title and vice versa. They all have interesting titles, something that hasn't been done before in Doctor Who, especially with the NuWho years.
There's still no confirmation on what this years Christmas Special will be called, as that's been added to the series this year rather than being an episode on it's own, but I'm sure we'll all find out soon enough.

Doctor Who News - Jenna Louise Coleman Has Quit Doctor Who?!

It has been YET AGAIN reported that Doctor Who star, Jenna Louise Coleman, will be bowing out this year as latest companion Clara Oswald. Every year a new series begins and every year rumors claim that Coleman has either quit or is planning to quit or is being killed off, etc. Fans usually take these reports with a grain of salt but this time, insiders are saying that the ex-Emmerdale actress is not part of the cast for this years Christmas Special, which was confirmed last week to feature the grand return of series regular, Alex Kingston as River Song, as she has signed on to a £10 million series for ITV about Queen Victoria, with Coleman playing the title role of Victoria.
This seems to come across more believable that previous reports about her departing as Peter Capaldi's companion. Ever since Game Of Thrones actress, Maisie Williams, signed on for an important role in the new series of Doctor Who, fans have been suggesting that she may indeed be playing the next companion, which would make sense for Coleman to leave.
Williams is rumored to be play The Doctor's granddaughter, Susan, who hasn't appeared on the show fully since 1964 when First Doctor, William Hartnell, left her behind on Earth. It would be very interesting to see if this fan theory is true.
It'll be sad to see Jenna Louise Coleman's Clara Oswald leave the show after all this time but I guess everyone in Doctor Who has to move on and plus, it's Doctor Who..........they always come back, even if they die........

Doctor Who returns to our small screens this Saturday on BBC One at 7:40pm.

Doctor Who News - A Song For Christmas....

Just the other day, it was FINALLY revealed that the amazing Alex Kingston will be returning to Doctor Who this Christmas as Amy and Rory's daughter, River Song. This will mark the first time Song and new Doctor, Peter Capaldi, will meet for the first time since his regeneration from Matt Smith back in 2013.
River Song has not appeared on Doctor Who since 2013's "The Name Of The Doctor". the episode leading up to the shows big 50th anniversary episode. There's been speculation over the last two years as to wither she'd return or not and now, finally, she is.
Kingston seems happy to be back as Song,

To be honest, I did not know whether River would ever return to the show, but here she is, back with the Doctor for the Christmas special. Steven Moffat is on glittering form, giving us an episode filled with humour and surprise guest castings. I met Peter for the first time at Monday’s read through, we had a laugh, and I am now excited and ready to start filming with him and the Doctor Who team. Christmas in September? Why not!”

Lead Writer, Steven Moffat, seems pleased with bringing back the character too, but isn't giving too much away as to how we'll see her this time and what she'll be like,

“Another Christmas, another special for Doctor Who - and what could be more special than the return of Alex Kingston as Professor River Song? The last time the Doctor saw her she was a ghost. The first time he met her, she died. So how can he be seeing her again? As ever, with the most complicated relationship in the universe, it’s a matter of time...”

I'm totally happy and excited with this return as River Song is and always will be an amazingly strong character in the NuWho universe. I wonder what's up Moffat's sleeve this time round with the character? I guess only time will tell.
