"Super 8" Monster?

According to various websites, this photo is supposedly some sort of a creature from JJ Abram's upcoming sci-fi flick, "Super 8". It's quite a disturbing pic, but it's also very interesting to find out just what the hell it is.

    I can tell you it's not the monster from the film. This picture was in the news a few months ago, sighted in a forest.
