"Lethal Weapon" To Get The Modern Day Reboot Treatment Too?

Everything these days are either getting remade or rebooted. God Sake! I love the "Lethal Weapon" franchise and was hoping for a 5th film, but it looks like Warner would rather reboot it than sequelize it. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it does kinda suck though. Who would play the new Riggs and Murtaugh?
Supposedly Warner have hired real life ex-Cop, Will Beall to write the script.
If they do deffo reboot it, then give it a really cool title, like........."Lethal Weapon: Reloaded" or something like that. Don't just call it "Lethal Weapon" again.
