Marc Webb On The Use Of CGI & Stunt Work For "The Amazing Spider-Man"

"The Amazing Spider-Man" director has said that he's tried to keep all of the action from Spidey as real looking as possible. Meaning most of the action is all just stunt-men, as we've mainly seen from the on-set videos and pics. He said that they actually built big riggs to let the stunt-men swing around and just add in CGI webbing later during the special effects stages.
This is what he said on the use of CGI and just plain old stunt work, "One of the things we tried to do was keep the stunts more grounded physically and that was a huge challenge because you have a character whose abilities are superhuman...We spent months and months and months developing rigs so he could swing in a way that wasn't computer-generated. Obviously there's going to be enhancements and CG, but it's based in a physical reality and that's a new technique [for this film brand]."
I think it'll be awesome! It'll deffo be the most realistic looking "Spider-Man" film ever. FANTASTIC!!!
