Ghostbusters - All Female Reboot - Good Or Bad?

Ever since it was announced last year that Bridesmaids director, Paul Feig, was rebooting 1984's much loved Ghostbusters and making it an all-female team up, fans went FUCKING NUTS, and they weren't alone, I went full on pissed off and created memes showing my utter hatred for this 2016 reboot.
Now, I'm not sexist, but you can't have an all-female Ghostbusters movie. Have some girls and some guys team up even. Then the cast was announced and yes, love both Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, but the other two, SNL stars, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, don't know them, too big a job for them to handle. I honestly HATED this film before I saw a trailer or even just some promo pics, fuck this film!!!!
The cast got weirder and weirder. They cast Chris Hemsworth and I was like okay, maybe he's gonna be the male Ghostbuster we need because I love Hemsworth........NO, he's playing the fucking secretary. They're just reversing the main roles.
Original Ghostbusters, along with Sigourney Weaver, are all returning in small cameos in the new film. Weaver, we don't know who she's playing but we know that Bill Murray is playing some dude who hates the Ghostbusters, Dan Aykroyd is playing a taxi driver, Ernie Hudson plays Leslie Jones's Uncle and well, Harold Ramis's cameo agreements fell through.
So yes, didn't want to see this film.........UNTIL..........I saw the trailer and I was like FUCK, I actually like the look of this film. It's fresh, it's brighter, the women are funny, the ghosts looks brilliantly done, Kate McKinnon's character was sexy looking......everything just looked good in my eyes. Other people....hated it. It's became the most hated trailer on YouTube....YIKES!
Now not much is given away in the trailers, the lead villain is a more demonic version of Stay Puff Marshmallow man and he's called Rowan, played by SNL actor, Neil Casey. He's built a machine that releases ghosts in to the city, that much I know but other than that, just need to see it in cinemas I guess.
Then a second trailer was released just a few weeks ago, it was better, people enjoyed it a bit more but the latest trailer from just a few days ago, it's hit the ball out the park. This reboot, speculated to be a sequel and set in the same universe, could indeed work and kick-start a whole new franchise. Yes, there's a few times when you still think WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! But people, you just need to get over it, it's happening.
There's still rumours going around about an all-male reboot/sequel with Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) and Channing Tatum (22 Jump Street) leading the team. I really hope this happens and that they maybe team up with the ladies for a crossover Ghostbusters film? Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd have set up a Ghost-Corps headquarters over at Sony, where they are currently working on new live-action films, sequels to this reboot, a prequel set way before the 1984 team, animated movies and new games, all for the new and old generation of fans.

For now though, here's both trailers for this summers Ghostbusters reboot:
