Jeremy Renner & Matt Damon To Become "The Bourne Partners" In Next Sequel?

While promoting the upcoming "Bourne" spin-off/paraquel, "The Bourne Legacy", producer Frank Marshall commented on the possibility of Jeremy Renner's Aaron Cross teaming up with Jason Bourne himself, Matt Damon in "Bourne 5". “You see there are several different programs in [Legacy] with different skill sets. All possibilities are open. My dream is that in the next one we see Matt and Jeremy team up.”
Obviously Universal will wait and see how this new film does before jumping into anything as big as a "Bourne Partners" type film, even though that would be awesome and very exciting to see. 

Jason Bourne, Lucius Fox & An Untouchable All Gunslingers?

So it looks like this long-awaited remake of 60's classic "The Magnificent Seven" is actually coming together. Tom Cruise was in talks a few weeks back, but has now officially been cast as Chris, who was originally played by Yul Brynner.
Rumors are saying that Matt Damon, Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman are in talks to join the remake. Damon is in talks to play Vin, who was originally played by Steve McQueen and Kevin Costner is rumored to be playing Brit, who was originally played by James Colburn in the 60's film. Morgan Freeman is rumored to play the films lead villan, Calvera, who was originally played by Eli Wallach.

UPDATE: Matt Damon has officially signed on to play Vin in the remake.

Edward "The Incredible HULK" Norton is rumored to be in talks with Universal on playing the lead villain in "The Bourne Legacy". He will star alongside Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz, if the rumor is true.

Gilroy Wants Hawkeye To Play Lead In "Bourne" Spin-Off!

"Bourne" film writer, Tony Gilroy has revealed that he wants Jeremy Renner to play the new lead in "Bourne" spin-off, "The Bourne Legacy". He thinks that Renner would be perfect for the role. I think he would be too. He said that Renner is on top of his and the studios list to star as the lead.

Harry Osborn Being Considered For "Bourne 4" & "Clash 2"?

It's being rumored that James Franco may be joining the cast of "Clash 2", which has now been announced to be titled, "Wrath Of The Titans". If he signs on, then he'll be playing Agenor, who is the son of Poseidon.
Actor, Javier Barem has also been offered the role of Ares, God Of War.
Now for the "Bourne" sequel news. It's been reported that Franco is also being considered for the lead role in "Bourne 4", titled "The Bourne Legacy" (for now). Obviously it's known that the lead role will no longer be Jason Bourne, but he will be mentioned in the new film.

Matt Damon Ain't Returning For Fourth "Bourne" Film!

So I take it Matt Damon kept to his word when he said that if Paul Greengrass, then he wouldn't return. The creators of the film series have announced that they don't wish to make "The Bourne Legacy" a prequel or even a reboot to the franchise or even recast Damon, what they are planning to do is to create a whole new action hero for the film. They say that it'll be a stand-alone project. They're not planning to continue adapting the book series into film. They're planning a whole new chapter.
WOW! I really didn't expect that to happen. So I wonder if they'll change the title? But still, the film is set for a 2012 release.
