Three Possible Titles For "The Hobbit-Part 3"
Now that we've had confirmation that "The Hobbit-Part 3" is also getting made and that Peter Jackson will return as the director, all eyes are now on the subtitle will be for the third part in the prequel trilogy.
Part 1 is called "An Unexpected Journey", part 2 is called "There And Back Again" and New Line have registered not one, not two, but a possible three titles for part 3.
Personally I like the third title choice, "The Battle Of Five Armies". I don't know why though. I guess it just sounds right for a "Lord Of the Rings/Hobbit" film really.

Empire Magazine Does "The Hobbit"
Above is the first ever look at both Bilbo (Martin Freeman) and Gandolf (Sir Ian McKellen), which will feature in next months Empire Magazine.
Also, while we're on "Hobbit" stuff, "Sherlock" star, Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the cast of the upcoming "Lord Of The Rings" prequel. He will star alongside his fellow "Sherlock" star, Martin Freeman. He'll be playing Smaug.

McKellen, Serkis & Lee All Confirmed For "The Hobbit" Films!
Obviously this was gonna be happening, but the studio still feel better if they publically announce that these actors are returning. We all knew they were returning, but just keep the studio happy.
Now there's no need for me the mention who these three greats will be playing in the two upcoming "Hobbit" prequels, because you'd be fucking stupid not to know!

"The Hobbit: Part 1&2-3D" Finally Get The Greenlight With Jackson Directing Both!
Alle Fucking-Luia! MGM have finally greenlighted the upcoming "Lord Of The Rings" prequels, "The Hobbit: Part 1&2-3D".
Principle photography is said to begin in Febuary 2011, with Peter Jackson returning as director for both films. He has said that he plans to once again film them back-to-back.
Martin Freeman is said to be one step away from signing onto the role of young Bilbo Baggins. And David Tennent is rumored to be signing on for an unknown role also. He seems to be impressing producers with his performance as the new Peter Vincent in Dreamworks remake of "Fright Night", which is set for release next year. Nice!
"Cold Feet" star, James Nesbitt is also been offered a role in the film, along with "X-Men: First Class" star, Michael Fassbender. And Sylvestor McCoy has been offered the role of Radagast The Brown, which I did post like a few months back. Now we have the name of the character that he's been offered. Comedian, Bill Bailey announced that he auditioned for the role of Gloin, but hasn't had any word back yet about it.
If they all deffo sign onto the project(s), then they will be joining Andy Serkis (Gollum) and Ian McKellen (Gandolf). It's been reported by Deadline, that casting announcements will be made in the next few weeks. AWESOME!
