Sly Stallone Gave Fans "RAMBO 5" Update!

During his trip to Rome this week, Sly Stallone gave fans a brief update on the progress of the on and off "RAMBO 5". He never said where he was with the production or even the script. All he did say was he'll be doing it if his body can take it,

“If my damn body holds up, it’ll be really good”,

“Otherwise it won’t be Rambo fighting, it’ll be Rambo fighting arthritis,”

"RAMBO: The Video Game" In Coming Our Way!

Just found out today that a "RAMBO" game for all known game consoles has been in development and is set for a late 2012 release. I've watched the trailer and it shows nothing of the game, just footage collected from the the BIG-screen films starring Sly Stallone.
My guess is that the game is just a copy of the film series and not a new story, like "Ghostbusters". That game acted as a third film in a way. That kind of sucks then, but am sure it'll be a action-packed game still.

John Rambo Vs The Mexicanos!

Sly Stallone has confirmed that his ultra famous Rambo character will be facing the likes of the Mexicans in the fifth and final action-packed film in the action-packed one man war film franchise.
Stallone said that John Rambo will "go out in a blaze of glory in a heroic fashion" which tells us that he could indeed kill of the old hero. Killing off Rambo has been the major rumor for a while now since Stallone re-announced that he will deffo be doing "RAMBO 5".
Here's also what Stallone said about the films plot, involving Rambo going up against the Mexicans, "I like the whole Mexican situation, what's going on down there. So I'm working on a formula for it right now."

Rambo Will Die In Last Film!

Finally, Sly Stallone has confirmed that he's returning to the "RAMBO" universe for one last time. It's been on and off saying that he was going to do it and then there was news where he wasn't going to do it and now he's confirmed it himself in an interview that he is going to do it.
The only bad thing is that while confirming that he will be returning for a "RAMBO V", he did say that he will kill John Rambo off at the end of the film to end it all off for good. Rocky went out with a boxing match in the final film, "Rocky Balboa" and now Mr John Rambo will goes in a blaze of glory and die like a true hero. I generally think it's the best thing Stallone could do. This just means that no one can do a "RAMBO VI", "RAMBO VII" or a "RAMBO VIII", unless they reboot it or something.
This is what he said when asked if he was going to kill off Rambo. All he said was one simple word, "Yeah"The good thing is that he mentioned what the films plot would be about, "I'm dying to do another Rambo. He's in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don't think Rambo likes Mexicans."

I'M EXCITED!!!!

Stallone Considering Making "RAMBO 5" Afterall?

Script writer, Sean Hood, who announced last year that he had wrote a script for a fifth "RAMBO" film went onto his Twitter last week and gave fans a brief update about the new sequel. He said that Sly Stallone is kind of thinking about doing it afterall, but he's not totally that sure about it yet, but he is thinking about it which is the main thing that fans want to hear.
Hoods words were that Stallone is going to decide wether or not the last film for him as John Rambo will be like "Unforgiven" or just a "passing of the torch", meaning he may let the franchise carry on without him, but we'll just have to wait and seen.

Script For "RAMBO 5" Has Been Completed, But Will Sly Return?

After the success of 2008's "RAMBO", Sly Stallone announced that work had began on a script for a fifth John Rambo film. But After he got involved with his "Expendables" films, he stepped back and cancelled the project. Last year, Millennium Films released poster and handouts for a fifth film at Cannes Film Festival. They were calling it, "RAMBO V: The Savage Hunt", which was the proposed title that Sly was going with before cancelling on it.
Again, last year Sly said that he had nothing to do with the posters of handouts, but that he heard that the studio were later going to reboot the franchise and go with an origins story with John Rambo back in Vietnam. That would have meant that they would be going with a younger actor.
Now, script writer, Sean Hood has revealed that he's just handed in his finished script for a possible fifth "RAMBO" film under the working title of, "RAMBO: Last Stand". He said that it's based on Stallone's un-finished script, which was only 20 pages long. He described the script to be, “It’s more in line with the small-town thriller of First Blood,”. He now just hopes that Sly Stallone will reconsider and return to the franchise after he's done with "The Expendables 2" next year.

"Rambo" Prequel Coming?

Even though Stallone has cancelled "RAMBO V", he's now pondering with the thought of writing and directing a "RAMBO" prequel. He plans for the prequel to tell the back-story of John Rambo back in the war, way before "First Blood".
Obviously it would mean that Sly would have to look for a much younger actor for the role, say someone in their mid-to-late 20's. It's gonna be extremely hard to find someone as good as Stallone when as Rambo.
I wonder what Stallone will call the prequel. Will he give it the typical prequel name, like, "RAMBO: The Beginning" or something like "RAMBO: Origins Of A Warrior". Now that would be an EPIC title.

"RAMBO 5"..........Without Stallone?

Stallone was chating with the guys over at "Aintitcool.com". He said that he doesn't know one fecking thing about a "RAMBO 5". So there's a poster and promo flyers over at the Cannes Film Festival and the film producers are promoting it too. But he said to them that he's done with Rambo. He was working on it, but finished on it a few months back. So he's finished with it even if the producers ain't. Oh god!
So the producers will go for a fifth Rambo, basically with or without Stallone. So we could see a "RAMBO 5" next year with a new guy playing the lead character. Now, would it not just be better rebooting the franchise then, instead of continuing where Stallone left off? I think it would be.

"RAMBO 5" Teaser Poster And Potential Plot Details.......

This photo was taking at the Cannes Film Festival market by one of the guys from another movie website and he put it on his TwitPic profile. The teaser posters not all that amazing, it's just a pic of Rambo from the fourth film after he beat the bad guys. They've taken that image and just slapped on "RAMBO V". Not that impressive, but it's only a teaser poster. But at least it does tell us that the fifth film may really be happening for sure.
Also, the Rambo-exec producer, Boaz Davidson let slip the plot details for the fifth film in Deadline magazine. Here's what the plot may be, ''John Rambo returns home, finds out his father died. Only a mexican family that worked for his father lives in the Rambo house, which is next to the mexican border. The daughter of the mexican family decides to celebrate her birthday in Mexico, where she disappears. John Rambo starts looking for her, and finds out a connection to a slave traders ring."
He also said that the film will stick to the realism of the last one and will be again, bloddy as hell.........NICE!

Will "RAMBO 5" Actually Be Happening After All?

Okay, a few weeks back, I posted an article saying that Sylvester Stallone officially announced that Rambo was dead! But now it seems that he may be back in action for a 2011 release.
The guys from "Firstshowing.net" took a visit to the Cannes Film Festival and today picked up promotional flyer for "RAMBO V". All it said was Rambo V: Coming 2011. And they also spotted a full sized poster for the film, that was surpost to be dead.
Now no one knows what the hells going on with the film. We still really don't 100% know if the film is deffo happening or not, because we've not got any official word from Stallone, so it could be fake. It's kinda like the "Spider-man 4" teaser poster that was at a comic-book convention like two years ago. It turned out to be fake.

Is "RAMBO 5" Now Not Happening?

Sylvester Stallone has reportedly announced that he has officially cancelled all work on "RAMBO V". There was news that he was to start filming in Mexico later this year for the next film. Now he's had a lot of idea's for the fifth film, but no one really knows which one he was going for. Some rumors were saying that Rambo was going up against Universal Soldier type characters. The other was he was going against terrorists who were killing off men and women in Mexico.
And the other rumor was that he was in search of his daughter, who was kidnapped and taken to Mexico by a group of men. I really liked the fourth film. It was very successfull with the fans and the critics. It was so realistic and that's what made it so awesome. The way the fourth film ended was good and if there deffo isn't gonna be a fifth film, then the way it was ended, was really good. He went home.......
