The Doctor Will Take On The Terminators!

Former "Doctor Who" Matt Smith has officially joined the growing cast of the latest "Terminator" reboot, "Terminator Genesis". Smith seems to be getting about in Hollywood seeing as that was one of his reasons to leave the TARDIS behind him. He's set to appear in Ryan Gosling's directorial debut, "Lost River", formly known as "How To Catch A Monster" later this year.
It's unknown which role he will be going for in the latest instalment in the sci-fi cyborg films but it's rumoured to be a BIG role that's near as important as Jason Clarke's role as an aged John Connor.
Joining a long-running franchise such as the "Terminator" franchise is a great way to break Hollywood for sure seeing as it's a peak in series as it's going through a fresh new reboot with the original star Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to the role that made him popular back in the 80's.

John McClane's Son Has Joined The Cast Of "Terminator 5: Genesis"

"A Good Day To Die Hard" actor Jai Courtney has been officially cast in the 2015 "Terminator" reboot, "Terminator: Genesis" as the new Kyle Reese. He will join Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator.
I loved Courtney in "Die Hard 5" and I loved him in "Spartacus: Blood And Sand" so I think he'll be amazing as Reese in the next "Terminator" film. It's been said that there will be a lot of references to previous "Terminator" films, i.e. the first two films........THE REAL FILMS!!!!  Some characters from James Cameron's films are said to pop up in small cameos but being played by new actors. J.K Simmons has joined the cast as a character from the original film. He's said to be playing Lance Henriksen's character from the first film.

"Game Of Thrones" Actress Cast As New Sarah Connor!

It's official.......Emilia Clarke from HBO's "Game Of Thrones" has been cast as the new and sooooo fucking sexy and improved Sarah Connor in the, well we assume is Alan Taylor's, 2015 "Terminator" reboot. Clarke will join Arnold Schwarzenegger as he returns properly in the role of the T-1000 for the first time in over 10 years.
Clarke will definitely bring some new fans to the franchise as she is sexy as and she's not just a pretty face. I don't really like "Game Of Thrones", but I've seen enough of it to see what's she's like and yes, she got naked A LOT in the beginning and she probably ain't going to have a topless scene like what original Sarah Connor, Linda Hamilton, did in the 1984 "Terminator" film but still, Clarke can seriously act and act good.
"Lawless" actor, Jason Clarke, is still reportedly in talks to playing Sarah's son John Connor, but as an older version from the future. He's been rumoured to play the John Connor we saw at the start of James Cameron's 1991 sci-fi epic "Terminator 2: Judgement Day". If he's cast too, that's two Clarke's that have been cast in the movie and both are the leads.

"Terminator: Genesis" Adds Jason Clarke As Old John Connor?

Deadline are reporting that "Zero Dark Thirty" actor Jason Clarke is in very early talks to playing an older John Connor in Alan Taylor's 2015 "Terminator" reboot, "Terminator: Genesis". First, I need to report that yes, "Thor: The Dark World" director, Alan Taylor, is pretty much directing the next film in the long running sci-fi franchise. Nothing has been confirmed as to yet but he seems to be the only director talking about it since "Fast & Furious" director, Justin Lin, left the project months back. Second, the upcoming 2015 reboot has been officially called "Terminator: Genesis". I like the title but I think it could have been better. They could've called it something like "Terminator: War Of The Machines" or "Terminator: The Fall Of Man". The title will probably get changed at some point because they always do during production.
Anyway, Clarke is one of many well known male actors to be tied to playing the role of the rebooted John Connor in the film. Fans can assume that seeing as though Clarke is the oldest actor who's rumoured to be in the running for the role of Connor, this John Connor will be older than his mother Sarah Connor in the film. I'm assuming that John will come back from the future to the past to save his mother? Questions will be answered as soon as filming begins and an official synopsis is released.
On the note of Sarah Connor, "Game Of Thrones" actress Emilia Clarke, another Clarke, is reportedly the strongest candidate for the role of Sarah. Only time will tell for the both of them. I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I get in new news on the casting.

Four Action Stars Up For Role Of Role Of John Connor In "Terminator 5"

Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hault, Garret Hedlund and Taylor Kitsch are all reportedly up for the role of John Connor in the upcoming 2015 "Terminator" sequel/reboot starring Arnold Schwarzenegger returning as the T-1000. "Thor: The Dark World" director, Alan Taylor is rumoured to be taking the helm on this long-awaited project. He has came out and said that if he was to cast anyone as John Connor, then he'd cast none other than Brit, Tom Hardy.
If I was to cast anyone from the above choice, I'd go with Garret Hedlund. I hate him but I think he'd pull off that specific role better than the others to be honest. Hardy is an amazing actor, but I'm not convinced on him playing John Connor though. His American accent would have to be spot on and he never really has one in any of his films, well not a great one and I think he's too big now to be playing a role like that. Nicholas Hault is too young for Connor. I think if he was getting any role in the sequel, then he should be cast as a young Kyle Reece, but only if they were continuing on from "Salvation". If they choose to go back to "Terminator 2" years and do a direct sequel from that then yeah, Hault would be fine but I think they'll keep John Connor as an adult like the way we saw him in the last film "Terminator Salvation". What's funny is that if Hardy gets the role then both Batman and Bane have then played John Connor. And finally Taylor Kitsch..........well I think he's good but just given the wrong choice of films to star in. He's just unlucky so if he was given the role of Connor and this sequel worked, then he could become a big star and life could work out for him. So there, I'd choose either Kitsch or Hedlund to play the role of John Connor in the 2015 "Terminator" sequel.

New "Terminator" Trilogy Beginning In 2015!

It's official, official, official!!! The "Terminator" franchise WILL be back with the fifth instalment set for a June 26th 2015 release date. What's interesting is that this is going up against BIG franchise films such as "Avengers 2", "Star Wars - Episode 7", "Jurassic Park 4", etc. The studio or should I say studios behind the new film, Paramount, Skydance and Annapurna must have mega faith in the new rebooted trilogy and the first film in new trilogy if they're releasing it next to those types of BIG films.
There's no word on the films official plot, though rumours are suggesting that the first film will go back to the 1950's with Sarah Connors parents. It's also been said that the new films will also be stand-alone films and not be connected to each other. They will all have they're own we stories, possibly with the same characters, nothing yet has been confirmed. A director hasn't even been signed on yet. The only person who's officially signed on and has been for ages is the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Joining The "Terminator" Franchise?

So basically, right now in Hollywood, if your movie franchise is going down the drain, then call The Rock to fix it and make it successful again. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is rumoured to be joining yet another dying franchise and reboot it and give it some new life.........that franchise, the "Terminator" franchise.
A new script for "Terminator 5" is rumoured to being wrote for Johnson to star as the killer Terminator who's been sent back to the 1950's to kill Sarah Connors parents. The interesting part about this is that even though big Arnie confirmed a few weeks back that he's returning to play the Terminator, he's actually reportedly playing a weapons guy who help the Connors and save them from The Rock's Terminator.
Personally I think this could be a fucking amazing fresh start to the long-running sci-fi franchise and this could turn it around and become popular once more. It's said that the Terminators used this guy, who Arnie's meant to be playing", likeness because he comes across as a big intimidating guy, which in a way would make sense really to why they picked his face.........he was intimidating when they first came face to face with him and thought, we like him, print his face.......SORTED!!!

Paramount Getting Rights To "Terminator 5" And Future Sequels And Arnie Returning!

So after ages and ages of news of the fifth "Terminator" film being on and off again, big Hollywood studio Paramount have bought the rights to it and future sequels in the long-running sci-fi movie franchise. The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, has confirmed that the script is being wrote as we speak and that he IS returning as The Terminator in the next film, which he expects will be filming as soon as January 2014.
Here's what Arnie said on the filming,

"I'm very happy that the studios want me to be in 'Terminator 5' and to star as the Terminator. We start shooting in January and I'm also going to do 'King Conan'. To play that role and also to do another 'Twins' movie. I feel very proud of that. I feel very happy and I'm looking forward to doing those films."

The Terminator IS Back For Sure This Time!

It's been confirmed that Arnold Schwarzenegger IS indeed back for the newly announced "TERMINATOR 5" and will be involved in some sort of a way. The guys over at BleedingCool.com confirmed this while attending a press conference for Arnie's new film "The Last Stand". There's no news of if he is playing the classic Terminator or if he's just helping make it, either way HE'S BACK!!! First Conan and now this.......AMAZING!!!

"Terminator 5" Gets New Writers!

So after years of being off and on and off again, struggling sci-fi action sequel "Terminator 5" is back on again and two new writers have be hired to do such that. "Drive Angry 3D" director Patrick Lussier and "Avatar" writer Laeto Kalogridis have been hired by Megan and David Ellison, who are the new owners of the "Terminator" franchise, to bring the fifth installment to life.
The fifth film was close to becoming real when "Fast & Furious" director Justin Lin signed on to direct it back in 2011, but then he left to work on "Fast Six" and "Fast Seven". The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still very keen to step back into the franchise, but is a bit annoyed about the they it's being treated though. Hopefully this time it will work for sure.

"TWINS" Sequel Is Coming Soon!

Last week it was announced that Eddie Murphy will be joining big Arnie and wee Danny in the planned "TWINS" sequel. The sequel is under the working title of "Triplets" and will be about Murphy being a third sibling to Arnie and Danny's characters from the first film. Original director Ivan Reitman will not be directing the sequel, but he'll produce it instead.
Also, Arnie said that he's still open to returning to the "Terminator" franchise and he absolutely slagged the last "Terminator" film in an interview by saying, “[I’m open to] all those things, if it’s True Lies, Terminator, a well-made Terminator…the last one was awful. It tried hard, not that they didn’t try, the acting and everything. It missed the boat.”

"Terminator 5" To Be R Rated!

The current rights holder to the "Terminator" franchise, Megan Ellison, promised fans that the next "Terminator" film will be R rated, which over here in the UK can mean either a 15 or 18 rating, but I really can't see it getting an 18 rating.
This is what she said on her Twitter page, "We can't really tell you guys anything about Terminator BUT it will be an R rated film as God and James Cameron intended."

Justin Lin Not Directing "Terminator 5" Anymore!

It's been announced that "Fast & Furious" franchise helmer, Justin Lin has sadly had to leave the "Terminator" franchise, before he even got to make one film.
He's been reportedly in discussions with Arnie and rights owner, Megan Ellison over the films plot and what he'd do to the franchise, to bring it back to life and how to forget the previous two (slighly cocked up) installments. Lin was set to put the first of the two films into production sometime in 2012, but he's now not able to do so until he finished his shitty 6th and hopefully final "Fast & Furious" film first.
The door has been left open for Lin to return as director, but for now, no movement will be made on the franchise.

Paul Walker & Vin Diesel Joining "Terminator 5"?

It's been rumored that Vin Diesel is once again up for the role as the new Terminator in Justin Lin's "Terminator 5". Paul Walker is also supposedly the number one guy for the role of Kyle Reese in the new film.
Lin said that he wanted the original films cast back, but it looks like he may want to go all "Star Trek" 2009 reboot on his film in the futuristic sci-fi action franchise. He's not ruling out on Arnie returning, but his life's up the shit right now.
Now seeing as Lin has directed both Diesel and Walker in the previous 3 or 4 "Fast & Furious" films, he most likely will cast them and will also probably cast most of the cast from those car racing films. He'll also have a few races in the new film too.

"Terminator 5" Details!

"Terminator 5", which is under the working title of "Terminator 2012" is rumored to reunite the whole leading cast from the 1984 original film. That means that Arnold Schwartzenegger, Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton will be altogether again on the BIG-screen.
This is what the film's director, Justin Lin says on the upcoming sequel/reboot, "Everything has just been between me and Arnold, you know?" says Lin in response to rumors that other former actors could return to the franchise, "Just us going out and trying to find the right partners. I have certain elements, but it's never been about, 'Hey, let's bring everybody back!' I just don't process that way." He also added, "I always feel like what's great about the 'Terminator' franchise is that there's time-travel and there are different timelines to play with," Lin explains, "There are also a lot of gaps from what we love about all of the 'Terminator' movies, so there's a lot of things we can do and play with... ['Terminator'] does have that capability, finding fresh ways of going back without destroying other [movies], because you can tell your own stories."

IT'S OFFICIAL! Arnie's Back For "Terminator 5

It's been confirmed that Arnold Schwartzenegger WILL be back for Justin Lin's "Terminator 5". At this time there is now release date, other cast, a studio to support it. It doesn't even have an actual script. The only script that Lin has, is an outline for a 5th and 6th film, that are rumored to be connected.
The only other thing that me and everyone else knows about the film is that it's kinda gonna miss out the events from 2003's "Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines" and the recent 2009 reboot, "Terminator Salvation". Hopefully we'll get more info on the upcoming sequel soon.

Is Arnie ACTUALLY Returning To "Terminator"?

Arnie could be returning to the BIG-screen in some amazing action films. Arnie revealed that he's actually reading more like 15 scripts, rather than the earlier announced 3 scripts.
This is what he said, "Well, first of all it's more 15 films, obvious ones from 'The Terminator' to remakes of 'Predator' and 'The Running Man' and all of those things."  He also added, "also a lot of original stuff too. But I am also packaging a comic book character right now. I'm going to announce that sometime by the end of March or the beginning of April."
So could Arnie be in a comic-book film? If so then which one? And is he gonna be in a "Predator" remake.......or maybe a sequel? And please return to the "Terminator" franchise!!!!

Things To Go "Fast & Furious" For The "Terminator" Franchise?

As Universal are close to getting the deal to the "Terminator" franchise, they are already choosing who would be a great director for the fifth. The script for the fifth film and an outline for a possible sixth were done by some American writer, which I can't remember who it was.
Universal's top choice of director to take over is none other than "Fast & Furious 3,4&5" director, Justin Lin. If Lin accepts, he and his writer, Chris Morgan will take on the fifth film, which will work as another new reboot, but it's to be more of a direct sequel to "Terminator 3", rather than a full reboot. Chris Morgan will rewrite the script that the American writer wrote. As the previous script for the fifth film would actually be a direct sequel to "Salvation".............that aint happening now!
Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to the role of The Terminator. AWESOME! So I take it Christian Bale wont be returning then. At least bring back Sam Worthington please..........

Arnie Back For Fifth "Terminator" Film?

"Terminator" producer, Gale Ann Hurd announced that now that Arnold Schwartzenegger has finished being the Governator, he may now be in talks for returing to the "Terminator" franchise that made him the man he is today. AWESOME! She did say that if he did return, then he would be playing a human version and multiple T-800's of his character.

The Terminator To Appear In "Avatar" Sequels?

There are rumors circulating around the net suggesting that Arnie may be appearing in the upcoming "Avatar" sequels. One word........AWESOME!
There have been rumors that once Arnie leaves politics in December, then he is joining James Cameron for a new secret project. And Camerons next projects are the "Avatar" sequels, which are of course being shot back-to-back. Cameron plans to begin the scripts early next year with filming to begin later next year. OMFG!

"Avatar 2" is set for a December 2014 release date.
"Avatar 3" is set for a December 2015 release date.
