William Fichtner Is Playing The New Shredder In The "TMNT" Reboot!

"Drive Angry" star William Fichtner has confirmed that he'll be playing the newly revamped version of The Shredder in the Michael "BIG explosions, no story" Bay produced "TMNT" reboot. He confirmed this news while in an interview,

"I play Shredder. It is cool. It's one of those things that came along where I thought, 'Really? Let me think about this for a minute.' [Laughs] Then I was like, 'Yeah, OK, this sounds like a journey.' I'm very glad that it worked out, I'm really glad that I'm doing it."

I don't know if he'll be a good Shredder or not. I think he's a good actor but playing such an iconic villain like this one......I'm really not sure to be perfectly honest.

First Look At Megan Fox As April O'Neil In "TMNT"

Now, I normally hate Megan Fox, but here she actually looks really good and for once I'm actually excited to see her in action in the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reboot. She's looking pretty hot, better as usual. When I heard she was cast, I was like "fucking hell", but after seeing these on set pics above.......not bad actually.

The "Ninja Turtles" Have Been Cast!

So yeah, all four of Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been cast for his upcoming live action reboot of the original TMNT films. Alan Ritchson from "Blue Mountain State" will play Raphael, Jeremy Howard will play Donatello, Noel Fisher will play Michelangelo and finally Pete Ploszek will be playing Leonardo.
I never even realised, but I haven't spoke about the casting of Megan Fox as April O'Neil in the film too. Fox has been cast as April.......I think it's the worst casting ever but what do I know. Now, why would Michael "big explosions, no story" Bay cast Fox in another one of his films, wither he was directing or producing, if he sacked her from "Transformers 3" for calling him Hitler?! We'll see how this film pans out!!! OH, and funny man Will Arnet has joined the cast too, but it's unknown who he's playing. Rumors are saying that he could be playing either the turtles master, Splinter or The Shedder.

"Ninja Turtles" Reboot Filming Later This Summer?

There's rumors going around saying that Michael Bay produced "Ninja Turtles" live-action reboot is set to begin filming later this Summer. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it seems that the production is heading to Vancouver.
The only thing that's been confirmed, is if these new turtles will be real suits and make-up effects or if they'll be all CGI. The answer..................MOTION CAPTURE, just like the apes in last years "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes". Now that's an awesome way to create the turtles now. It was bound to go this way after the apes reboot film.

Is This The New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?

Movie website, Latino Review recieved this image of a turtle mask with a orangy like coloured mask. Now this appears to be the kinda mask that would be used for a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" film, right?
Now last April, MTV did announce the news that there is a new live-action ninja turtle film going into production soon, so this may be the first look of what the turtles are gonna look like.
It my opinion, it looks fricken awesome, way better than the original live-action masks. It looks more realistic, like what an actuall turtle would or should look like if it was kinda human like.
The idea is that the new film is gonna be a live-action CGI film, with the stuntmen/actors wearing the turtle suits and then when doing action sequences, it would change from real guys in suits to a face replacement with the CGI taking over from the live-action performers. Now this actually sounds pretty cool. I'm really looking forward to the new film.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles....well number 5" is due for release sometime in 2011.
