Here's One Of The Other RoboCop Suits From 2014 Reboot!

So above is reportedly one of the other suits that Joel Kinnaman will wear when portraying the new rebooted version of RoboCop in the 2014 film. It's unclear which one this is, if it's the last version or one of the versions leading up to the pure black suit.

Another New Teaesr Poster For "ROBOCOP"

Here's another teaser poster for the new 2013 "RoboCop" film. I really think that the pic above is part of Robo himself. Like the back of his arm and back. Maybe this IS a glimpse at the FINAL FINAL version of the new suit. This could mean that the suit in the on-set pics is just one of the rumored four versions.

First Awesome Look At The New RoboCop Suit, Well One Of Them Anyways!

MGM's 2013 reboot of "RoboCop" began filming in Toronto, Canada over this weekend and already, fans are teased with on-set pics of the new guys suit, or should I say one of them (as previous reports are suggesting). This new suit above is amazing looking, but I can't help wish they brought back the old 80's version and just re-vamped that one instead.
I know, like in previous reports, there is mention of the old suit and it does appear, but a newer version but I kind of want the old one back, but this one will do because I like the whole "trying to be it's own movie" and not copying a thing from the old films. It could very much work.
The new one is very intimidating looking because it's pure black, which I guess is good seeing as he's part of the police force. One thing I don't get about it is the human hand part. His right hand is his human hand. Is that going to be fixed in the post-production work and maybe a CGI gun or something is added? Who knows! Guess we'll find out when the first teaser trailer is released.
Also, here's a first look at the police cars in the film. Now this car is awesome indeed, well better than any other ones altogether!
And finally, here's a first look at Abbie Cornish's character in the new film. She's playing Alex Murphy's wife.
The black guy in the background is so trying to take a photo of her arse................PERV!!!

Batman VS RoboCop!

Batman aka Michael Keaton has officially signed on as the evil CEO of OCP, Reymond Sellars in the 2013 reboot of the "RoboCop" franchise.
This was the character that Hugh Laurie was originally rumored to have been cast as. Clive Owen was then rumored to be on the top of MGM's list to take over the role when it was confirmed that Laurie was nowhere near signing on to the 2013 reboot. Director Jose Padilha had this to say about casting Keaton in the role

"Michael is the final addition to the amazing cast we have assembled for this film and it is so great to have the last puzzle piece in place. It is thrilling that everything has come together to bring this innovative new vision of RoboCop to life. We’ve got a great script, a great cast, some killer ED-209’s and I can’t wait to get Alex Murphy back on the streets,"

House Isn't In "ROBOCOP" But King Arthur Could Be!

It's been widely confirmed that "House" star Hugh Laurie will not be playing the OCP villain in the new 2013 reboot of "RoboCop". It was said that he was set to play the Dick Jones type character in the Jose Padihla directed film, but it now turns out he was no where near signing for the role. It was just a rumor, but was set up to look real a few months back.
Now it's been reported that Clive Owen is on the top of MGM's list to take over the role. There's been no confirmation, but if this is real, then confirmation will happen soon seeing as the fillm is set to begin filming next month.

RoboCop To Go Through Four Different Armors In 2013 Reboot?

Drew McWeeny over Hitfix.com is reporting that the new RoboCop will go through 3 armors before getting to the right one, the 4th. The armors will consist of an updated version of the classic 80's armor to highly technical futuristic version, which is where the film is set.
Basically the new Robo has been tagged as a "Transformer" on quite a few movie rant sites. Below also tells us that there's definitely going to be a few more changes to the characters, like Lewis now being a male character, but still Murphy's partner though.
Here's McWeeny's quotes on the new armors and the parts of the script,
In the film, when Murphy is turned into Robocop 1.0, it’s described “a high-tech version of the ’80s suit.” Then they show a focus group scene where criminals laugh at the design. “He looks like a toy from the ’80s!” So they redesign him to look “meaner” as Robocop 2.0, who passes focus group approval. So they not only make sure to include the original design, they also point out it’s dated and stupid.
Hold onto your sides for more hilarious “Robocop” details. They outsource his construction to China.
And we meet the ED-209s in the field in Iran, where they’re used to subdue suicide bombers.
Ahhh… now they just dropped Robocop 3.0 onto an Al Queda training camp to see what he does. “He should be programmed to incapacitate in all scenarios.” “Agreed. Let’s keep him PG-13, Dr. Norton.” No. No. No. No.
By page 54, they are already onto Robocop 4.0, who looks like a “cop on steroids painted metallic blue.” Oh, god… oh dear god… Robocop is a Transformer. He goes from “social mode” to “combat mode” and back. Full transformation.
It’s tough to determine tone on the page, but “satire” seems low on their list of priorities.
Okay… the two “best” lines in the script. First up is at the unveiling ceremony for Robocop in Detroit, from a TV reporter covering it. “I think it’s safe to say that Alex Murphy is now part man, part machine, ALL COP!” Yes, I too remember the original poster, asshat.
Second, after the traumatic first meeting with his father, Alex’s son retreats to the apartment of Lewis, Murphy’s male partner. The scene ends with the action line “David sits, catatonic, looks at the TV — MGM REMAKE TBD.” It means “to be determined.” They haven’t decided which of their other movies to plug with that clip.
Someone shows Pope, head of the OCP project, some mock-ups for Robocop action figures. “Are you kidding? I wouldn’t buy that for a dollar!”
I’ll say this: once the script stops all the winky-winky crap and just starts telling a story, it’s not terrible. But it’s way too late.If you can get past Robocop The Transformer, there are some interesting action beats. And I’m sure Padilha will direct the hell out of it.
In a way, I like the change up. This means that no one can really compare it to the 80's original, because this is totally a different film in every way, shape and form. The setting is in the 2020 something, Lewis is a guy, every other characters names are different, the look and feel will be different, RoboCop himself is going to look dfferent.......I like it!!!
