Just a few weeks ago it was rumoured that 1989's Batman himself, Michael Keaton, was in talks to play the lead villain role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Spider-Man, titled Spider-Man: Homecoming. After that news got out, the rumour was put to sleep and nothing came out about it. Some said the negotiations fell through.......UNTIL NOW!!!
Today, word has got out that Mr Keaton, star of the critically acclaimed film, Birdman, is said to be in final talks to playing the main villain, wether it be The Vulture, as previously speculated OR......the MCU version of Norman Osborn, who will, as we all know, will at some point transform into The Green Goblin. The character of Vulture was on the cards as a main villain waaaaaaay back when Sam Raimi was in charge of the Spidey franchise. He wanted him as the lead villain for Spider-Man 4 and was to be played by the great John Malkovich.
The Vulture is an interesting character, as long as he's done right and not just a version of The Green Goblin, with wings. This, I am looking forward to.

The First "ROBOCOP" Trailer Is Finally Here!
FINALLY!!!!!! Fans get the first official teaser trailer for next years highly-anticipated sci-fi reboot of the much loved 80's/90's franchise, "ROBOCOP". I have been begging for a first trailer for ages and was so bummed out when fans at this years San Diego Comic-Con got to see the trailer.
The trailer is actually pretty damn amazing to be quite honest. Very cool logo, very cool action, very cool CGI, very cool casting, very cool new RoboCop and all just very cool in general. I loved all 2 mins and 20 odd secs of the trailer. Fans of the original film WILL probably hate it but I'm a fan and I bloody love what I see so fan. In a nut shell, change is good if done right and from what we're seeing so far........THIS CHANGE IS AWESOME!!!
From what we can see in the trailer, it looks like we're going to see a bit more of how Alex Murphy felt when he went from human to machine. Also, it looks like we're going to see a lot more of Alex Murphy - Family Man than just beginning with Murphy heading straight into the Police Station that day and then a few minutes later getting shot down. We're going to see a lot more of the human side to Murphy too. The hand is a good choice to make when designing the suit because it shows that there's not just a head and a brain that's in the suit, there's also lots more human parts to him than just wires, screws and armour. Here's a few more official stills from the film.
I am loving the homage to the original suit in the image above. Its looks like there's going to be a lot of action at first with the updated version of the old suit before turning to the final black version which is under the title of Mark 4. What's interesting about the suits is the visor.......it DOES come down for a sort of combat mode which looks pretty awesome.
Anyway, I'm going to shut up now and just post the link to the trailer and guys, gals, machines, aliens, whatever.......JUST ENJOY!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4ukwHdACDw

Another New Teaesr Poster For "ROBOCOP"
Here's another teaser poster for the new 2013 "RoboCop" film. I really think that the pic above is part of Robo himself. Like the back of his arm and back. Maybe this IS a glimpse at the FINAL FINAL version of the new suit. This could mean that the suit in the on-set pics is just one of the rumored four versions.
First Awesome Look At The New RoboCop Suit, Well One Of Them Anyways!
MGM's 2013 reboot of "RoboCop" began filming in Toronto, Canada over this weekend and already, fans are teased with on-set pics of the new guys suit, or should I say one of them (as previous reports are suggesting). This new suit above is amazing looking, but I can't help wish they brought back the old 80's version and just re-vamped that one instead.
I know, like in previous reports, there is mention of the old suit and it does appear, but a newer version but I kind of want the old one back, but this one will do because I like the whole "trying to be it's own movie" and not copying a thing from the old films. It could very much work.
The new one is very intimidating looking because it's pure black, which I guess is good seeing as he's part of the police force. One thing I don't get about it is the human hand part. His right hand is his human hand. Is that going to be fixed in the post-production work and maybe a CGI gun or something is added? Who knows! Guess we'll find out when the first teaser trailer is released.
Also, here's a first look at the police cars in the film. Now this car is awesome indeed, well better than any other ones altogether!
And finally, here's a first look at Abbie Cornish's character in the new film. She's playing Alex Murphy's wife.
The black guy in the background is so trying to take a photo of her arse................PERV!!!

Batman VS RoboCop!
Batman aka Michael Keaton has officially signed on as the evil CEO of OCP, Reymond Sellars in the 2013 reboot of the "RoboCop" franchise.
This was the character that Hugh Laurie was originally rumored to have been cast as. Clive Owen was then rumored to be on the top of MGM's list to take over the role when it was confirmed that Laurie was nowhere near signing on to the 2013 reboot. Director Jose Padilha had this to say about casting Keaton in the role,
"Michael is
the final addition to the amazing cast we have assembled for this film
and it is so great to have the last puzzle piece in place. It is
thrilling that everything has come together to bring this innovative new
vision of RoboCop to life. We’ve got a great script, a great cast, some
killer ED-209’s and I can’t wait to get Alex Murphy back on the
streets,"
