The Green Arrow Returns!

So the Green Arrow returns tonight in the US but begins later over here in the UK. The second part of series one continues on to tell the story of how rich boy Oliver Queen turns his life around and becomes a sign of justice, basically like Batman.
"Arrow" is an absolutely amazing TV show and I think that when DC and Warner begin casting for the 2015 planned Justice League film, they should seriously keep Stephen Amell as the Green Arrow.
The pictures above are from an upcoming episode of the show and the pictures below are giving fans a first look at Seth Gabel as the villainess Vertigo.

"Doctor Who" @ Comic Con 2011!

"Doctor Who" has finally arrived at this years EPIC Comic Con! First, I must say that I'm loving The Doctor's new coat. And the trailer is awesome!
The news for the next half of "Series 6" just keeps on flying in, as well as some news on "Series 7". Above is the official wallpaper for "Series 6: Part 2", along with it's first teaser trailer:
http://youtu.be/76vzfxJRByA
The 2nd part of "Series 6" is returning next month in America, so we should be getting it around the same time, most likely before them.
Amazing news, Karen Gillan has confirmed that she WILL be back for the full of "Series 7" next year, but there's still no word on Arthur Davil's Rory. He did say that he was moving onto something else at the end of this year and this could be a hint that he's packing it in. Gillan was rumored to be deffo leaving at the end of the series, but it seems she aint! http://youtu.be/tK13Ytpk47k

"Torchwood: Miracle Day" Teaser Trailer!

The new teaser trailer doesn't show us anything from the upcoming series, all we here and see is the Earth becoming black and the sony, "Perfect Day" playing away slowly. There's also like the sound of a news report talking about people dying and the world basically ending. It's actually got quite a cool effect to it.
Here's the link to the trailer on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rvtb325viAg&feature=player_embedded

"Torchwood: Series 4" New Title, Plot Revealed & Character Discriptions!

"Torchwood: Series 4" will no longer be called "The New World", it's now to be called "Miracle Day". Personally, I don't really like the new title. It sounds kinda dumb. "The New World" is so much cooler.
The plot sounds pretty good, but not as amazing as what "Children Of Earth" was. That was a fucking sweet ass series, eventhough it was only 3-part.
Here's the plot details: “The premise is a miracle happens in the world. One day, on Earth, no one dies. The next day, no one dies. The day after that, no one dies. The dying just keep dying … but don’t actually die. The possibility of death ceases to exist. Which is great for some people. But it’s an instant overnight population boom. The earth relies on people dying … What is society going to do now? Some of the answers are beautiful and brave. Some of the reactions are terrifying.”
Now, here are the descriptions of the new characters in the series:
Rex Matheson played by Mekhi Phifer - He is the golden boy, the embodiment of the American dream and has been all his life. Harvard education, Rex is destined for success and could make a fortune in Wall Street or Hollywood, but he chose the CIA because he believes in justice and will fight for it. He can talk his way into anything, then charm his way out, fast. This may be just what he needs as he joins forces with Jack and Gwen to fight a global mystery behind Miracle Day that has them racing from one crisis to another, dodging assassins, blackmail, corruption and conspiracy, from Washington to Wales and the slums of Shanghai.

Esther Drummond played by Alexa Havins - An innocent, in a world of assassins, liars and zealots. She got where she is with the CIA through diligence and application. Hard work keeps Esther focused but she still dreams of active duty as a field agent serving her country. The dream is going to happen faster than she thinks and in no time at all, Esther finds herself running alongside Jack, Gwen and Rex, living off the grid, gun in hand, fighting a global conspiracy against enemies ranging from big business to the state. Its a tough, brutal, hard lifestyle where survival is hard won and life-changing choices have to be made.

Oswald Danes played by Bill Pullman - Well-educated and a former school teacher, Oswalds a convicted child killer, both guilty and unrepentant. But when Oswald survives his own execution, he is given a whole new life. The most infamous man in the world, he becomes the most provocative figure in modern media. Hes a flare, reviled yet mesmerizing, whose very existence embodies how the world changed on Miracle Day.

Doctor Vera Juarez played by Arlene Tur - An attending surgeon in Washington DC, shes smart, fast talking and hard working, Vera is on the frontline of medical care on Miracle Day. As the world crisis grows, Veras surgical and ER experience sees her recruited to advise on government think-tanks until she has to make a moral choice of enormous consequence. Sexy, confident and passionate, Veras life is soon inextricably tangled up with Rex's.

"Spaceballs" Star Joins "Torchwood: Series 4"

Bill Pullman, from the amazing "Spaceballs" has been cast as an unknown character in the new series of "Torchwood". Now how cool would it be if he was playing the President that he played in "Idependance Day". That would be AWESOME!
Mekhi Phifer has also joined the growing cast, as CIA Agent, Rex Matheson.

"Torchwood: Series 4" Subtitle And Details!

"Series 4" of the sci-fi "Doctor Who" spin-off is finally coming together with a brand new subtitle and new character details. The new series is gonna be known as, "Torchwood: The New World". The new name kind of makes sense with the move to different countries.
There has been news released on three new characters. The are as followed:
Rex Matheson (CIA Agent)
Esther Katusi (CIA Agent)
Oswald Jones (Convicted murderer and paedophile)
No news has been released on who has been cast for the roles, if anyone has been or not.
Various websites and magazines have discribed the new series as an American reboot to the UK version, even though three of the original cast members are returning to their roles, John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Kai Owen. Creator and exec-producer, Russell T. Davies has announced, "It's very much the next step. It's not a new version, it's not a reboot. We're simply moving countries." But the show's second exec-producer has came out and said that the new series is being, "absolutely rebooted to welcome in a new audience".

"Torchwood: Series 4" Confirmed!

"Torchwood: Series 4" was confirmed last night by the BBC. It was said that the long-time rumored US remake of the hit sci-fi "Doctor Who" spin-off is actually the fourth series of the show.
Next year will see Captain Jack and Gwen go International with Torchwood. Sounds pretty sweet. The new series is to be a BBC/US production this time round and for any future seasons of the show.
So far, all we know about the plot is that the character of Rhys may only be returning briefly as he is staying home with the newly born baby. Gwen's such a nice mother. Leaving her newly born baby with the father, while she travels the world looking for monsters.

The new series is scheduled to air in Summer 2011 on BBC 1.
