"GLEE" star Grant Gustin has became the lucky guy to play The Flash in the planned "Arrow" spin-off featuring the adventures of the fast paced superhero. The character will be introduced in three episodes of "Arrow" series two, which will be backdoor pilots for his own series which is said to begin filming as soon as the episodes hit tv. The show is expected to air sometime next year.
Warner have had plans coming and going for the red suited superhero to hit either the small or big screen for years but nothing has been set in stone until now. Plans are still reportedly going ahead for the planned "Flash" movie, which is set to be released in cinemas sometime in 2017/18. It's not confirmed if Gustin will play The Flash in that or if we'll see two different actors playing the superhero on the small and big screen.
I for one am excited that we're finally getting to see The Flash on the screen. He's an awesome superhero who deserves some screen time again after the cancellation of his series way back in the early 90's.

The Green Arrow Returns!
So the Green Arrow returns tonight in the US but begins later over here in the UK. The second part of series one continues on to tell the story of how rich boy Oliver Queen turns his life around and becomes a sign of justice, basically like Batman.
"Arrow" is an absolutely amazing TV show and I think that when DC and Warner begin casting for the 2015 planned Justice League film, they should seriously keep Stephen Amell as the Green Arrow.
The pictures above are from an upcoming episode of the show and the pictures below are giving fans a first look at Seth Gabel as the villainess Vertigo.

"Green Arrow" Series Get's Full Season!
A full series of DC's upcoming TV adaption of the legendary comic book character the Green Arrow has been ordered by American channel CW. The series is intitled "Arrow" and is set to begin later this year and lead through to sometime in 2013. Stephen Amell is set to play the role of Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow. The hero was set for a BIG-screen film a few years back, but it's one of those scripts that simply disappeared and never got spoken about again, well until it became this new TV show instead.
