Doctor Who News - Jenna Louise Coleman Has Quit Doctor Who?!

It has been YET AGAIN reported that Doctor Who star, Jenna Louise Coleman, will be bowing out this year as latest companion Clara Oswald. Every year a new series begins and every year rumors claim that Coleman has either quit or is planning to quit or is being killed off, etc. Fans usually take these reports with a grain of salt but this time, insiders are saying that the ex-Emmerdale actress is not part of the cast for this years Christmas Special, which was confirmed last week to feature the grand return of series regular, Alex Kingston as River Song, as she has signed on to a £10 million series for ITV about Queen Victoria, with Coleman playing the title role of Victoria.
This seems to come across more believable that previous reports about her departing as Peter Capaldi's companion. Ever since Game Of Thrones actress, Maisie Williams, signed on for an important role in the new series of Doctor Who, fans have been suggesting that she may indeed be playing the next companion, which would make sense for Coleman to leave.
Williams is rumored to be play The Doctor's granddaughter, Susan, who hasn't appeared on the show fully since 1964 when First Doctor, William Hartnell, left her behind on Earth. It would be very interesting to see if this fan theory is true.
It'll be sad to see Jenna Louise Coleman's Clara Oswald leave the show after all this time but I guess everyone in Doctor Who has to move on and plus, it's Doctor Who..........they always come back, even if they die........

Doctor Who returns to our small screens this Saturday on BBC One at 7:40pm.

The Costume For The New Doctor Is Revealed!

I totally forgot to post about this...........The 12th Doctor's new clothes!!!!! How god-damn sexy is he looking?! Even my mum said he's looking good. I love his long jacket and his black Doc Marten boots. Peter Capaldi is gonna rock balls as the new Doctor. Still unsure if we still call him The 12th Doctor or The 13th Doctor or emmmmmm, The 1st Doctor, seeing as he's been given a whole new set of lives? Well, I'm sure all will be revealed when the show returns to our screens later this year. Can't wait to see him in action wearing those awesome clothes.

Moffat Confirms "Doctor Who" Series Nine In 2015!

During the same interview where "Doctor Who" boss confirmed a fourth and fifth series of "Sherlock", Steven Moffat also confirmed a series nine of "Doctor Who" coming next year in full form rather than two halves like it's usually been.
When confirming the 2015 series of the show, he never confirmed wither new Doctor, Peter Capaldi was returning to the role of The Doctor in next years ninth series since the shows grand rebooted return back in 2005. He also never confirmed if Jenna-Louise Coleman was returning too but everyone is assuming they both will even though it was previously rumoured that Capaldi could being doing an Eccleston and be a one series Doctor.

Images From "The Time Of The Doctor"

It's Time For The Doctor To Regenerate At Trenzalore.........

"The Time Of The Doctor" is the official title for this years "Doctor Who: Christmas Special" with current Doctor, Matt Smith, leave the TARDIS behind him and hand over the front door key to Scottish actor Peter Capaldi, who is set to begin filming his first series in January 2014.
I love the title for Smith's final adventure. Series Sevens finale, "The Name Of The Doctor", the 50th anniversary, "The Day Of Doctor and now the Christmas Special and Smith's finale......"The Time Of The Doctor".........The Time For Matt Smith To Sadly Leave!!! I will just cry my eyes out I think because I absolutely love Smith as The Doctor.
So, in this final adventure, Smith's Doctor finally goes back to the planet of Trenzalore to face some of his greatest enemies such as the Daleks, Cybermen and the notorious Silence. Questions will be answered, knots will be tied up, it's all going to happen at Trenzalore. One other thing that will happen is that Matt Smith WILL REGENERATE!!!!
This episode WILL be amazing and most probably be thee best episode ever, second to the marvellous 50th anniversary episode, which I will finally get around to typing up my review at some point next week. Can't wait to see how it all ends for Matt Smith, but at the same time, awwwwww.........

First Official Promo Shots For "The Day Of The Doctor"

So finally some official images for the massive "Doctor Who" 50th anniversary, "The Day Of The Doctor". We get an official look at John Hurt's mysterious Doctor, who is still rumoured to the the REAL 9th Doctor. Hurt actually looks the part doesn't he?! I think he'll be great as The Doctor. His Doctors costume is so cool looking. We can just see his sonic screwdriver inside his jacket on the pic when he touching the TARDIS console.
The first pic above is my favourite pic.......just seeing Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt all together is beautiful in my opinion. I think it would be amazing if John Hurt returned once again as his Doctor. It's been rumoured that he's set to return alongside Peter Capaldi's 12th Doctor at some point when he starts his run later in 2014. Two old Doctors together would be poetic.

Peter Capaldi Is Our New 12th Doctor!

"The Thick Of It" star Peter Capaldi is our new 12th Doctor from this Christmas onwards for the next few years.  At the age of 55, he is the same age as the First Doctor, William Hartnell, when he first started 50 years ago. I never once thought he would get given the role. He was announced as the next Doctor by presenter Zoe Ball on Sunday night near the end of the BBC special "Doctor Who Live: The Next Doctor". My reaction was insane!!! My girlfriend recorded my reaction and put it on Facebook. It's all real and I never faked it at all. That was my reaction for an actor who was never my first choice. Can you imagine what it would have been like if the actor who was chosen WAS my top choice?! I would put up the video on here but it's on Facebook only and you'd have to be my friend to see it, sorry guys. Here's a link to the intense moment when Ball announced Capaldi as the new Doctor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Zim8zL3Q5k
I never at once thought an actor of his age would be given the role of The Doctor. I thought the BBC would keep going for a younger actor, but obviously not. Capaldi is an extremely amazing actor and hats off to him for getting the role after seeing him as the over the top foul-mouthed character, Malcolm Tucker in "The Thick Of It". I thinks he's the only actor to play The Doctor, who's said FUCK like over 100 times in his career. Here's a link to Malcolm Tucker saying FUCK almost 90 times in "The Thick Of It" big-screen spin-off "In The Loop" with the late James Gandolfini: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLlEdEx3tn8
When I see Capaldi, I can't think of any other older actor to play The Doctor, well other than the amazing John Hurt, but I don't need to say anything else about that obviously. Capaldi will nail it as an older Doctor. When I look at him, especially in his wee announcement video, I can just see an older Doctor, like an older version of either Matt Smith or David Tennant looking back at me. Peter Capaldi IS the older Doctor!!! I can't wait to see what he's like when Smith regenerates into him. I think it's going to be hilarious, "Oh god am old again" type of hilarious. And just think of the chemistry he'll have with his younger companion Clara, played by the smart and awesome Jenna Louise Coleman. It's going to be great TV.
I'm just so excited now. New Doctor, new opening credits, new arragement of the theme tune, new costume, new TARDIS, new sonic screwdriver (well it's assumed that they're all going to be fresh new versions to go with the fresh new Doctor). OH, here's the link to Capaldi's wee announcement video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDGzzGRKukE
