Final Wolverine Film To Explore The Father/Son Relationship Between Logan & Xavier!

Since announced earlier this year that Hugh Jackman's 3rd solo Wolverine film will mark is FINAL appearance as Logan, Patrick Stewart has announced that he'll appear in Wolverine 3 alongside Jackman's final chapter.
Fans have been wondering where the final film will take the duo. Rumors have been circulating for ages on what the final film will be about. Hugh Jackman has expressed interest in adapting the "Old Man Logan" comic book arc, and fans have gotten excited about that prospect as well as express their sadness to see the end of Hugh Jackman's, what, 16/17 year rein as Wolverine, well 17 or so once this next solo movie is out.
Hugh Jackman has since announced that the film will dive deep into the relationship between Xavier and Logan, exploring the father/son relationship that's, well, blossomed, through the X-Men franchise.
I would be happy to see this ending to Jackman's rein as Wolverine. Have his final film with the man who practically was his father figure to him through the franchise. It'll be sad to see them both together for one final time before, we can all assume, Wolverine gets rebooted and a new, younger actor is brought in to take over.
And on that note, Hugh Jackman has expressed interest to see Mad Max - Fury Road actor, Tom Hardy, take over the Wolverine role. Now that's a not bad piece of fan casting right there people. But, if you don't like that, then I've got one thing to say to you..........

First Promo Shots For "X-Men: Days Of Future Past"

Finally some first promotional images from Bryan Singer's highly-anticipated but worrying "X-Men: First Class" and "X-Men: The Last Stand" sequel, "Days Of Future Past". The pics looks awesome. Loving the pics with Wolverine and young Magneto and Xavier together. Jennifer Lawerence looks stunning as usual as the young amazing Mystique.
I've seen the leaked low-res Comic Con teaser trailer and it's actually pretty promising to be perfectly honest. I mean it's still worrying considering Singer seems as though he's making more of a sequel to HIS "X-Men" franchise rather than the rebooted "X-Men: First Class" franchise started up by the amazing Matthew Vaughn.

COMIC-CON: Character Head Shots From "X-Men: Days Of Future Past"

So here's our first looks at Old Charles Xavier, Old Magneto, Colossus and Bishop. I am loving the new costumes for the oldies. It's actually quite good to see Stewart and McKellen back in the "X-Men" world again, but in a wee way, I still don't want to see them back because I feel as though they may take over the new franchise.
I've heard that Fox are most likely going to go ahead with an "X-Men 4" after this sequel rather than an "X-Men: First Class 2"........BAD TIMES!!! Why can't Fox just go ahead with both? I guess we'll see what happens after this sequel, when it comes out next year.

Visual Confirmation On "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" Cast Members!

So here's visual confirmation on who will be appearing in Bryan Singers upcoming "X-Men: First Class" sequel "Days Of Future Past". From the top left hand corner we have Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman, Jennifer "Young Mystique" Lawerence, James "Young Xavier" McAvoy, Michael "Young Magneto" Fassbender, Sir Patrick "Old Xavier" Stewart, Sir Ian "Old Magneto" McKellen, Nicholas "Young Beast" Hault, "Game Of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage, Halle "Storm" Berry, Ellen "Kitty Pryde" Page, Shawn "Iceman" Ashmore, Omar Sy, Anna "Rogue" Paquin, Daniel "Colossus" Cudmore, Fan "Blink" Bingbing and finally Booboo Stewart.
Peter Dinklage is playing the films main villain and is said to be playing the creator of the Sentinels, Bolivar Trask. No confirmation is yet out about that role. The down side is that Lucas "Havok" Till, Caleb Landry "Banshee" Jones are going to be no where in sight in the new film, which I think is shite because it's like Singer is making his own official "X-Men 3", rather than a real true "First Class" sequel. This crossover film shouldn't be in this "First Class" trilogy, it should be on the outside in between this trilogy and the original trilogy. I have faith in Singer, but I just feel a bit worried that the new film is going to be too much about the original cast with the young ones cameoing rather than the other way about that's all.

The New "X-Men" Is First Class!!!

Just saw the new "X-Men" the other day and it's literally amazing, actually PERFECT, well apart from Matthew Vaughn trying to recreate the start of the original film. He recreated the Nazi scene, with young Magneto bending the gates. It was a really shitty recreation, but apart from that the film was perfect. It's starts off very much like the start of the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot does, with 5-10mins of the young Xavier and Magneto (X-Men: First Class) and the young Kirk and Spock (Star Trek).......brilliant!!!
I know I love a lot of films, but there are some films that I walk away from and think they are outstanding.......and this is deffo one of those films. Well better than the previous films. If Fox had never done an "X-Men" film before, this would be an EPIC start to a franchise.
Now, obviously I'm not going to talk a lot about the film, don't wanna give the plot away for those who haven't seen it yet. So much happens in this prequel/reboot film. It deffo sets up for a "First Class 2&3" and kinda sets things up for the original films, well kinda. There are some things that are in the first three films, but there are also brand-new things that make you think "Oh my God!". It kinda tells the fans to forget about "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", as wee see what happens to Xavier and how he gets into his wheelchair, where as Patrick Stewart is still walking and bald in the Wolverine prequel film. We've to kinda forget about some things in the first three films, but still keep them in mind.
Matthew Vaughn has done a great job on this film. I truely can't believe he walked away from "X-Men: The Last Stand". If he stayed on to direct it, it would have been EPIC! Once you watch this film, at the end you kinda want it to finish there and not ruin it with sequels. But so much is still to happen and it deffo sets up for a "part 2" story. It's that good that you want more and more. I really don't want Fox or Marvel to make an "X-Men 4&5", eventhough they have both been greenlighted. I think (now) they should just concentrate on the "First Class" films. I just wanna watch it again and again. I'll probably go and see it again either this week or next.
The cast all play their characters well, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are just outstanding as Xavier and Magneto. Fassbender has a quick "Bond" moment about 20mins into the film. Same as the moment that Daniel Craig had in "Layer Cake", which was also directed by Matthew Vaughn. And Craig became the new James Bond. I truely have a funny feeling that Fassbender may actually become the next James Bond after Craig. His name will deffo be considered anyway. Jennifer Lawrence is the perfect choice for the younger Mystique. Such a hottie in the film, even when she's blue. January Jones was the shit as Emma Frost. She literally does walk around in her underwear for like most of the film. At first when I saw Beast, I thought he looked fucking stupid, but then I really got into him. The effects for him are pretty good looking. I originally thought his make-up was all CGI, but you can see in the behind the scenes pics, the effects are all real.
The young team also make up the names for each of the heroes, even Xavier and Magneto. Xavier's right hand girl, Moira MacTaggert, who's played by Rose Byrne gives the X-Men their, well X-Men title. At first they're called the G-Men, as they all work for the Goverment. Kevin Bacon is so cool in the film. He plays Sebastian Shaw, who is basically the film's lead villain and creator of Magneto. Magneto does make a comment on Shaw being Frankenstien and Magneto being his monster. Quite a kick-ass reference.
The cameos are amazing. There are two ones that are obvious, but I wont tell you who they are. All I'm saying is that they are two of the best cameos in comic-book history. Deffo in the top 5 list. Number 1 being Robert Downey Jr's cameos as Tony Stark. There's also a few name drops too.
I really wanna see what Vaughn and Singer do next with the sequel/s. Singer has spoken out about sequel details. Vaughn has also commented on the fact that he's excited about doing the sequel. EXCITING!!!

First AWESOME Xavier & Magneto Posters!

These posters are actually quite amazing looking. I love the way they're set out with the young versions on top and the original older versions acting as the reflections in the bond (Xavier) or in the pudddle (Magneto).

McAvoy Is Younger Xavier!

So, Scottish actor, James McAvoy has sealed the deal with Fox, to play the younger version of Charles Xavier in the upcoming 2011, "X-Men: First Class" directed by Matthew 'Kick-Ass' Vaughn. How amazing is this. I saw an article in like the Daily Record or some other paper the other day talking about this. I didn't really believe it at first, but then a read on line that he's officially sealed the deal. How can you not believe this. THIS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I'm so looking forward to the new prequel film. Hope more well known stars get signed on to the movie.

"X-Men: First Class" is scheduled for a 2011 release.
