Jack Sparrow Being Considered For Role As Doctor Strange?

"Pirates Of The Caribbean" star, Johnny Depp, has been rumoured to be in, close to final, talks about taking on the role of Doctor Stephen Strange in the upcoming MCU entry, "Doctor Strange".
The wizard superhero is said to be taking over command of The Avengers once Robert Downey Jr takes off the Iron Man suit after "Avengers 3". This could all change if Downey Jr stays on past "Avengers 3" and decided to go ahead with a couple of more "Iron Man" sequels, which is rumoured to be going ahead in the coming years.
If Depp signs onto the role of Strange, he's said to be signing onto a six-picture deal with Marvel Studios. Three of his "Doctor Strange" films and if the rumour of him taking over from Iron Man, then he'll be in three "Avengers" films too.

The First "Dark Shadows" Trailer Has Arrived!

Up till now, I thought this "Dark Shadows" film adaption was just another gothic film from Tim Burton and starring his two favourite actors, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. I had no interest for it, but then I watched this new official trailer for it. It's completely different than I thought. It's so fucking funny. I was laughing my head off in my class in college. It's a gothic/comedy-horror film based on this old TV show of the same name.

Russell Brand To Play Sparrow's Brother In "Pirates 5"?

A few years back, before "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" went into production, Russell Brand was rumored to be taking part in the film. He confirmed that he was in talks with the studio, but couldn't do it because he was working on "Get Him To The Greek".
Now, according to movie insiders, Brand is said to be in talks again for a role in the next "Pirates" film. He's in talks for the role of Captain Jack Sparrow's younger brother. All we need is the mother and the family is complete. We have Johnny Depp as Jack, Keith Richards as his father and now the rumor of Russell Brand playing his younger brother.........AWESOME!!!!

Depp Closing The Deal For "Pirates 5"

Johnny Depp is said to be literally closing the deal for "Pirates Of The Caribbean 5" within the next few days. Disney are super happy with the preformance of the fourth film, "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", considering that fact that it's the 7th highest grossing film ever, actually I thinks it's the 8th. Either way it's great though. I still haven't seen it. I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD around Christmas time.
It's just passed over the £1billion dollar mark for making money back after being in cinema's. They also expect it to make further mega bucks when the DVD is released world wide in the next few months.

"Pirates 5" Script Is Complete!!!

Terry Rossio has announced that the script for the fifth "Pirates Of The Caribbean" film is complete. He said that the studio (Disney) are hoping to begin filming later this year for a Christmas 2012 release date. So we could see Captain Jack Sparrow going head-2-head against Superman in the box-office.

Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp are all reported to be in talks for the role of Officer Alex Murphy aka ROBOCOP in Joe Padilha's upcoming reboot of the cyber-cop franchise.
Okay, this does sound like a MASSIVE fucking rumor. If it is true, I think Reeves would be the best for the role. He's got the best face for it. But, like I said before, I'd cast Timothy Olyphant for the role. He's the shit!

It was originally rumored that the fifth and sixth films were gonna be filmed back-2-back, just like the second (Dead Man's Chest) and third (At World's End).

Disney Prep For A "Pirates Of The Caribbean 5"

Eventhough a few months back, Disney announced that they plan to begin a brand-new trilogy with the fourth film, no one knew if they were serious or not. Now it seems that they are serious, eventhough the fourth film hasn't even been released yet.
They have already greenlighted a fifth film and hired Terry Rossio to pen the script. Johnny Depp has announced that he's "game" for returning to the role of Captain Jack Sparrow for a fifth time. He also mentioned that if he had a choice, he'd do "Pirates Of The Caribbean 6,7,8,9 and 10". The action never stops! Kinda like what Robert Downey Jr said about the "Iron Man" franchise.......he would do "Iron Man 15" if it was his descission to make it. NICE!
If a fifth "Pirates Of The Caribbean" happens, then fans know that a sixth film is deffo, as it was rumored that Disney are secretly trying to film "Pirates 5&6" back-2-back next year, the same with what they did with "Pirates 2&3".

The first official trailer for "Pirates 4" has been released and it looks amazing. It's looks as though it'll be much better than the last film, "At World's End". The last one was good, but not amazing, but this one does. This one will probably work as the fans official third film, just forget about the third film and let this one work as the true third film.
Also have to say that the amazing Ian McShane looks absolutely AWESOME as the bad-ass notorious Blackbeard.
