Chucky creator, Don Mancini, has confirmed via his Twitter page that everyone's favourite killer doll WILL be back for a "Child's Play: Part VII" sometime in the next few years. Many fans have taken to Twitter to ask Mancini about what happened to the surviving cast members, mainly Alice. Mancini just basically answered the questions by saying,
"To the fans who've asked questions about Alice and the end of : All will be answered in part 7!"
I personally thought that the latest 2013 "Child's Play" sequel/reboot, "Curse Of Chucky" was very well done and it really should've been in the cinema, so here's hoping the next one will. The sequel/reboot went back to the original basic horror Chucky, rather than the later piss-take sequels. The only bad thing is the end part of the film featuring shitty Jennifer Tilly returning to the role of infamous Tiffany........FUCK OFF!!!! Hopefully she ain't part of the next one.

"Walking Dead" Spin-Off On The Way? And It's To Be A Prequel?
AMC have announced that they are planning to milk "The Walking Dead" franchise to the absolute max and make a spin-off series that will air on television sometime in 2015. It's reportedly said to be a prequel and tell the story of how the infected became the infected.............basically the extremely early days of the walkers.
Quite frankly, I'm all for a prequel story of infection but I just don't see it as a full length series on tv. I personally see it more as a mini online series or even a few episodes during a series of "The Walking Dead" series or even a mini comic book series. Like I said above, AMC will milk the popular zombie franchise till it's dry and even then...........they'll keep going.

Jigsaw Will Return Within The Next Few Years!
Lionsgate have confirmed that gory game master Jigsaw will return to the big screen in the next few years. They plan to take their time on this next instalment, so it's rumoured that the new sequel, not reboot, as previously rumoured to be, will be out around 2016/17 at the latest.
It's assumed that "SAW" regular, Tobin Bell will return as dead Jigsaw in flashback sequences in "SAW VIII", like in the previous instalments.
I loved the "SAW" films. I consider the franchise as one of the greatest horror franchises of all time because unlike other basic horror films, it's smart. I just hope that when Lionsgate start filming and planning a new franchise, that Tobin Bell doesn't die!!! Ok, his character is dead, but his flashback scenes are great so it'll be weird if he REALLY dies. I guess they'll probably just recast or just take him out totally.

Next "Paranormal Activity" Isn't Out Until Next October Now!
It's been announced that a "Paranormal Activity 5" will not be released this October in it's yearly spot as usual, instead fans will have to wait another year to see the next move that Katie makes in the "PA" franchise. Not only will fans get an official "PA 5" on October 24th 2014, but they'll also get the Latino spin-off, "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" released on the January 3rd 2014.

Trailer & First Images Released For "Curse Of Chucky"
So Chucky the killer doll is back and meaner and more sadistic than ever!!!! Yes, the latest instalment in the long running "Child's Play" franchise is going back to the way the original first two films were like......horrific and scary. You can either look at this instalment as a reboot to the whole franchise or as a direct sequel to either the first, you choose.
The trailer itself is pretty good. The new film actually looks quite interesting and an all out gore and scare fest in my opinion. Chucky creator Don Mancini has taken out all the slapstick comedy and spoofy that appeared in the later films and went back to the hardcore horror from the first film.
I think it could kickstart the old franchise up again with the new generation of horror fans. Let's just hope they don't do a camcorder sequel somewhere down the line.

"Evil Dead 4/Army Of Darkness 2" Kind Of Confirmed And Crossover Teased!
So yeah, a REAL true sequel to the original "Evil Dead" trilogy is in the works for sure after franchise star Bruce Campbell kind of confirmed it was happening.
He also teased at the thought of the reboot franchise and the classic franchise to crossover with each other for a 7th and final film, so I assume he's talking about an "Evil Dead 3" to the rebooted films then?! Either way this sounds fucking awesome to me!!! BRING IT ON BABY!!!!

Sequel To "EVIL DEAD" Reboot Is In The Works!
During the promotion and first screenings of the upcoming "Evil Dead" reboot, director Fede Alverez has confirmed that he's already started work on a sequel to his reboot. Producer and original "Evil Dead" actor Bruce Campbell has confirmed that the new film is also the start of a brand new trilogy too.
Original franchise director and the other producer of the new film, Sam Raimi, has mentioned that he wants to do an official "Evil Dead 4" also, but feels as though is being pushed to do it by fans. So this may not actually happen, but a new reboot trilogy is a definite.

No "HALLOWEEN 3" Coming Anytime Soon!
For years now, fans of Rob Zombie's "HALLOWEEN" films have been sitting waiting to hear if a third film would ever see the light of day under the title of "HALLOWEEN 3D". It's been in development hell for a while and after Dimensions removed the sequels release date off of it's projects list, everyone thought that was it! Now Director Rob Zombie has confirmed that there is indeed no plans at all right now for a new sequel to his films,
"I don’t think they are doing anything with Halloween at the moment,” said Zombie. “That is the last thing that I heard."
He also mentioned that he wouldn't come back to direct if they did decide to make it,
"I’m definitely not directing it if they ever do go ahead with a third movie."
I really wanted to see another film, but I guess this ain't going to happen. I kind of think that Dimensions should actually go along the line of "Texas Chainsaw 3D" and make the next "HALLOWEEN" film a direct sequel to 1980's "HALLOWEEN 2" and make it the REAL third film rather than that witchcraft pishy one.

More "Texas Chainsaw" Films On There Way!
This has come to no surprise but it looks like Millennium Films are set to make another sequel to the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" franchise. They are planning to make a direct sequel to their "Texas Chainsaw 3D" after it made over $22 million in it's opening weekend there last weekend.
It's also been confirmed by the lead actress, Alexandra Daddario, that Millennium are planning to make 8 new films in total, but they're working on one film at a time rather than just rushing into things. She also confirmed that she has signed onto multiple sequels and that we can expect her to appear in the next film tagged "Texas Chainsaw 4". I'm assuming the title will be changed sometime down the line though, seeing as it's technically number 3 if they really are continuing on from the very first film.
I haven't yet seen the latest "Chainsaw" film yet, but hope to when it gets released this week over here in the UK. I've not heard or read great things about it online, but that's just everyone else's opinion. I really want to see this film!!! Blood, Sex, Leatherface, Chainsaw, Loads of Gore and all in 3D.........AMAZING!!!
UPDATE: The rights holder of the new "Texas Chainsaw" franchise, Carl Mazzacone and Mark Burg, have stepped out and told various online sites that basically someone, Avi Lerner, jumped the gun over at Millennium Films and announced a "Texas Chainsaw 3D" sequel without discussing it with them.
Here's what they had to say about the planned "Texas Chainsaw" film,
"Millennium simply sold the foreign rights and they will not tell us when a sequel is ready to be made. The script was developed by Carl, myself and writer/director John Luessenhop. Millennium and about ten producers came aboard only when we needed their check. Maybe they’re looking for something to sell at Berlin, but they have no right to announce this sequel and if we make another it has to be as good or better than this one and that takes time."

"Lost Boys" Franchise Is Dead........Well Kind Of!
While promoting his new horror film, "6 Degrees of Hell", Corey Feldman was asked if the "Lost Boys" franchise will go on even though the company that distributes the direct-2-DVD sequels has closed down. A few months back Warner Premiere closed down, which now leaves the long-running franchise in limbo. There were plans for a new trilogy and new TV spin-off too, but now it looks as though the franchise is dead after what Feldman said,
"I am not sure if you are aware, but Warner Premiere has folded. The company that was assigned to make the films in The Lost Boys franchise are no longer in business. Therefore, that leaves The Lost Boys without a home. The Frog Brothers are homeless at the moment.
I would like to see the franchise stay alive. There is not a day that passes, that a fan doesn't write to me and say, "What about the next The Lost Boys? Where is Lost Boys 4? What about another Frog Brothers movie? Frog Brothers TV show Frog Brothers cartoon?
People love it. People want to see more of it. Jamison Newlander and I are always down to get back into bed. But that being said, it's Warner Bros. that drives that boat. It is a Warner Bros. film, it's a Warner Bros. franchise. Without Warner Bros. behind it, there are no more Frog Brothers. The Bros. Warner need to get back into bed with The Bros. Frog. Then we can all have a great big movie orgy. Until then, we are all left as homeless Frogs."
