Finally we get a first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated "Machete" sequel. "Machete Kills" looks like it's going to kick ass........as much as the first film. It looks over the top and stupid, but that's great. Looking forward to seeing the new film and seeing Lady Gaga in action. Also looking forward to seeing Charlie Sheen, sorry Carlos Estavez back in action on the big screen too. Yeah, big shinny Sheen has officially changed his name back to his real non stage name to go with the Mexican theme of the film. He's finally looking better again since "Two And A Half Men".
Here's the link to the trailer over on YouTube: http://youtu.be/0_IjM63FH2o

Robert Rodriguez Planning "From Dusk Till Dawn" TV Show!
It's been announced today that Robert Rodriguez is planning to make a TV series of his 1996 classic "From Dusk Till Dawn". It's not yet clear how much of it Rodriguez will be involved in, but it's assumed he'll direct the pilot and stay on as producer if the series is picked up. It's also yet unclear if the new series will be a sequel to the first film which starred George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino or if it'll be a prequel, even though the third film is basically the proper prequel. More info will be released as soon as.

"Star Wars-Episode 7" Directing & Casting Rumors!
Soooooooooooooooooo the latest rumors on whats happening on over at the Disney camp is that they are on the mad hunt for a new director to helm the 7th film in the long running sci-fi franchise. Word is that the studio are looking at BIG names such as Matthew Vaughn and Robert Rodriguez to helm the new film/trilogy.
Reports are saying that Vaughn left the "X-Men: First Class" sequel to begin talks with Disney to direct the new film, which is set for a 2015 release. With Rodriguez, Disney would be taking a BIG risk seeing as he seems to have lost his touch with the kids seeing as the last "Spy Kids" film was a complete mess. I hardly think Disney would take that risk and left him take on the new "Star Wars". Plus, would Rodriguez go "Spy Kids" style and aim it for the kids or would he play in the best of both worlds like the first three films from the 70's and 80's.
On the news of casting, Mark Hamill has confirmed that he will be returning to the role of Luke Skywalker in some sort of a way. Supposedly he's appearing as a Obi Wan Kenobi type character. This is what Hamill said during an interview,
An insider has commented on Ford returning by saying,
UPDATE: Carrie Fisher has confirmed that she would love the chance to return as Princess Lea in "Episode 7"...............so that's all three lead cast members confirming that they want to return. Listen to this Disney and don't not include them!!!

Hamill revealed, "[George] said, 'Um, how'd you like to be in Episode nine?' This is 1976. 'When is that going to be?' '2011.' I defy anyone to add 36 years to their lives and not be stunned." Hamill then added, "I said, 'Well, what do you want me to do?' George said, 'You'll just be like a cameo. You'll be like Obi-Wan handing the lightsaber down to the next new hope.'"
He said that Carrie Fisher will also be returning and so will Harrison Ford, though it's unsure if he'll appear in any scenes with Fisher or Hamill, seeing as the both hate each other. An insider has commented on Ford returning by saying,
“Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it, all three of them are,”

New Teaser Poster For "Machete Kills"
This new teaser poster for the upcoming "Machete Kills" clearly confirms the cast of the sequel. Actress Amber Heard looks as though she has officially joined the still growing cast of Robert Rodriguez's next "Machete" film. But it looks like Jessica Alba might not be as her name ain't at the top of the poster with the cast names. Maybe she's getting a cameo or something.

Colombian Goddess Gets Role In "Machete Kills"
"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara is the latest actress to join Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" sequel. Her role is “the leather-clad Madame Desdemona, whose Mexican heriots have information that Machete needs.”
"Once Upon A Time In Mexico" Star Gets Small Part In "Machete Kills"
Antonio Banderas has said that he will once again go in front of the camera for director Robert Rodriguez in the latest "Machete" film. He mentioned that he can't give too much away by saying who is character is, but he did say that he won't be reprising his iconic role of El Mariachi. It's going to be a new character that will be mentioned a lot throughout the sequel and then will show up and be surprising.

"Machete: Part 3" To Be Set In Space!
Director Robert Rodriguez has confirmed that the third "Machete" film, "Machete Kills Again" is to be set in outer space and will feature space babes and machete light-sabers. He mentioned something about this at Comic-Con last year, but I don't think anyone took him serious. It now looks like this is actually happening.
The reason why part 3 is set in space is because Mel Gibson's character in the new film, "Machete Kills" fires a missile into space and try and cause a global war. This will then continue into the third film. There's no word if Gibson's character will survive the second film and go on into the third film, but I'm sure we'll find out when it comes out next year.
Rodriguez is saying that the third film "is a space opera. It does take place in space. Machete has to go into space"

"SIN CITY 2" Is FInally Happening For Real This Time!
Yes, "Sin City 2" is filming this summer under the new working title, "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For". It will see the return of actors and actresses from the first 2005 film, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Michael Marsden and Rosario Dawson. There's no word yet if Clive Owen will come back, but I'm sure he will.
Rumors have surfaced saying that Mel Gibson and Michelle Williams have been offered roles in the upcoming sequel that's expected to get a 2013 release date. Gibson is also rumored to be playing a role in director Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" sequel, "Machete Kills", alongside Danny Trejo, who plays the lead role.

Who I Think Should Play The New Team Of "Young Guns"
I enjoy doing my own "fan casting" on films and tv shows, but mainly films. My latest one is a fan cast for a reboot of the 80's western classic, "Young Guns". If I was to choose any director to direct it, I would choose Robert Rodriguez and have Quentin Tarantino as producer. I know Tarantino is making a western already, "Django Unchained", but I still think he'd be great for working with Rodriguez on this too. I'd also have the two of them pen the script for it as well. So below is my new cast for the film,
Garret Hedlund As Billy The Kid
Now I know I stagged him rotten when doing my review for "Tron: Legacy", because I generally didn't like him in it. I thought he was wrong for the role of Sam Flynn. I do on the other hand think he'd be perfect for the role of Billy The Kid in a new "Young Guns" film, hence why I've cast him here.
Henry Cavill As Doc Scurlock
I truely think that Cavill would be great in a western in general, so why not start here and cast him in a "Young Guns" reboot or just a new sequel as Billy The Kid's right-hand man.
Michael Fassbender As Dick Brewer
Now Dick Brewer dies half way through the original "Young Guns" film, but really he didn't die like that in real life, so I'd base this film on the real true events of Billy The Kid and his gang. This means that Dick lived on for a while longer, and I loved Fassbender in "Jonah Hex", even though the film was shite. So I'd give him another chance at a cowboy film.
Eli Roth As Dirty Steve
Just cast him as this role.........ENOUGH SAID!!!
James McAvoy As Charlie Bowdre
Another perfect actor for this role. When I look at the picture of Casey Siemasko playing Bowdre in the old "Young Guns", I see James McAvoy playing the role too.
Zachary Quinto As Jose Chavez y Chavez
I know Quinto doesn't look anything like a native-American, but just give him a lot of make-up like what they did with Lou Diamond Phillips. Phillips wasn't even native-American, so it can work well.
Anthony Head As John Tunstall
I'd definetly cast Head as the gangs mentor, John Tunstall, who we all know dies early on in the original film.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan As Lawrence Murphy
I originally was going to cast Morgan as Pat Garret, but I think Josh Brolin would be better and Morgan would be better as the films main villain, who the gang are after. He's the character who kills the gangs mentor near enough after the start of the film.
And finally
Josh Brolin As Pat Garret
Like I said above, Josh Brolin is a much better fit as Pat Garret, who eventually kills Billy The Kid.
