Ok, so this is old news but I've not reported it yet so here we go. THE CAST FOR "STAR WARS VII" HAS FINALLY BEEN REVEALED and my god this cast was totally unexpected. Obviously, we have the return of the original cast, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, the great Harrison Ford, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels. They will all be joined by the band of new cast members to bring a whole new set of fans to the long-running MASSIVE sci-fi franchise. The new cast are as follows, Andy Serkis (Lord Of The Rings, Planet Of The Apes), Adam Driver (Girls), Max Von Sydow (The Exorcist), Daisy Ridley (The Inbetweeners 2), Jon Boyega (Attack The Block), Oscar Isaac (The Bourne Legacy) and Domhnall Gleeson (DREDD). There is also one more lead female role to be filled but nothing has been mentioned as to yet.
No information has been released on who is playing who but it's rumoured that the young cast are playing the off-springs of Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. Some fans are also assuming that Jon Boyega could be playing the son of Lando, who has yet to be announced as to if he will be making a cameo or so in "EPISODE VII" played by the great Billy Dee Williams.
I am not familiar with any of the new young cast to be honest. Obviously I know Andy Serkis and Max Von Sydow but other than them, all newcomers basically. Well, they've been in other things but nothing as BIG as the "Star Wars" franchise. I like that JJ Abrams has cast some actors as his leads because that's basically what George Lucas done back in the day for the roles of Luke, Han and Leia.
Filming is now under way and I'm sure that during Comic-Con this year, they're will be announcements of some sort i.e the films official title and a possible teaser poster.

Disney Gain Rights For Future "Indiana Jones" Films!
After months of speculation about what happened to the rights for past and future "Indiana Jones" films, Disney have confirmed that they now own the rights to future instalments in the Harrison Ford leading franchise. Paramount will still own the rights for the first four films, but Disney will be the prime studio who will make and distribute any future "Indy" sequels.
This news could back up the rumoured news that was reporting that Disney had to promise Ford an "Indiana Jones V" to get him to star in "Star Wars - Episode VII". Ford is the only guy involved in the long running franchise who's sticking with faith on any new films that have still to get made. There was a rumour at some point that Disney, when they bought LucasFilm, only had rights to reboot the franchise rather than go forward with a fifth, sixth or seventh film.
Now that a fifth film is such a super possibility, old Harrison Ford better get back into shape and get his iconic hat and whip ready for a whole new story.

Harrison Ford Will Return As Han Solo Only If "Indiana Jones 5" Gets Made?
News has broke that Harrison Ford will not return as legendary "Star Wars" character, Han Solo, in JJ Abrams's 7th "Star Wars" film unless an "Indiana Jones 5" gets made. Disney have reportedly agreed to what Ford wants and are planning to have a treatment for "Indy 5" done by late next year for a release date around 2016. The only bad thing is that Paramount still own the rights to the "Indiana Jones" franchise, so a deal would have to be made for Disney to make the film.
I would love an "Indy 5" personally but honestly, I'd rather see Ford return as Han Solo for the last time than see him running around as Indiana Jones one more time. The last Jones film was good but not great. Maybe this time neither Steven Spielberg or George Lucas will be involved so it could work big time.

Nic Cage Confirmed For "The Expendables 3"
During the promotion for the release of the DVD and Blu-Ray of "The Expendables 2", Sly Stallone commented on the planned third film in the action-packed franchise. He commented on possible casting and the possibilities of future sequels.
UPDATE: Sly Stallone has literally just confirmed that the quote above is a fake and that he knows nothing about Cage joining the highly-anticiapted all action star sequel!!!
"We are preparing the film with the same passion and commitment as the previous two. We have confirmed Nicolas Cage, a master actor who gives a veneer intellectual group. Hopefully we can realize to Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke. That is the great mission of the producer. We will continue with the same narrative scheme, the agility and the frenzy, which are inherent to the saga. What will definitely be the last? I can not guarantee. In principle it would be two deliveries, but the affection of the people encouraged us to work on a third. I guess as long as we amused ourselves by offering fun and people, we can continue playing 'The Expendables'. For now we are not as expendable as it should and as some critics want. "

"Star Wars-Episode 7" Directing & Casting Rumors!
Soooooooooooooooooo the latest rumors on whats happening on over at the Disney camp is that they are on the mad hunt for a new director to helm the 7th film in the long running sci-fi franchise. Word is that the studio are looking at BIG names such as Matthew Vaughn and Robert Rodriguez to helm the new film/trilogy.
Reports are saying that Vaughn left the "X-Men: First Class" sequel to begin talks with Disney to direct the new film, which is set for a 2015 release. With Rodriguez, Disney would be taking a BIG risk seeing as he seems to have lost his touch with the kids seeing as the last "Spy Kids" film was a complete mess. I hardly think Disney would take that risk and left him take on the new "Star Wars". Plus, would Rodriguez go "Spy Kids" style and aim it for the kids or would he play in the best of both worlds like the first three films from the 70's and 80's.
On the news of casting, Mark Hamill has confirmed that he will be returning to the role of Luke Skywalker in some sort of a way. Supposedly he's appearing as a Obi Wan Kenobi type character. This is what Hamill said during an interview,
An insider has commented on Ford returning by saying,
UPDATE: Carrie Fisher has confirmed that she would love the chance to return as Princess Lea in "Episode 7"...............so that's all three lead cast members confirming that they want to return. Listen to this Disney and don't not include them!!!

Hamill revealed, "[George] said, 'Um, how'd you like to be in Episode nine?' This is 1976. 'When is that going to be?' '2011.' I defy anyone to add 36 years to their lives and not be stunned." Hamill then added, "I said, 'Well, what do you want me to do?' George said, 'You'll just be like a cameo. You'll be like Obi-Wan handing the lightsaber down to the next new hope.'"
He said that Carrie Fisher will also be returning and so will Harrison Ford, though it's unsure if he'll appear in any scenes with Fisher or Hamill, seeing as the both hate each other. An insider has commented on Ford returning by saying,
“Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it, all three of them are,”

Possible "Expendables 3" Casting News!
"Expendables" producer Avi Lerner has revealed that a third film is already in the making and that he and Sly Stallone are looking at more BIG action stars to come on-board with them.
“We’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters],” Lerner says.
“We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys,…We’re talking to
Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from
prison.”
He also commented on the possibilities of ex-Expendable Mickey Rourke returning for part 3,
“And we’re going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he won’t be too crazy. I
like Mickey. And of course, all the existing stars [will return]”
So that's Rambo, Ivan Drago, John McClane (if he don't die in
this one seeing as he's still rumored to be a "super-villain", The Terminator, Cheeseburger Eddy, An Ex UFC Fighter, A Martial Arts Expert, A British Action Hero, Fucking Chuck Norris, A Universal Soldier (again, if his villain don't die too), The Ghost Rider, The 9 And A Half Weeks Guy, Han Solo, Blade, Dirty Harry and finally Thor's real-life brother, have i missed anyone else?! And they
could all be in one MASSIVE final chapter of "The Expendables" trilogy,
wither or not they make more, but still..................HOLY FUCK!!!

"Indiana Jones And The Long Retirement" Instead Of Another Film?
While talking about "The Bourne Legacy", producer Frank Marshall was asked about sequels to his 80's classic, "The Goonies", "E.T." and most of all.................an "Indiana Jones 5". This is what he said about the possibilities of an "Indy 5" happening anytime soon,
So this is very bad news indeed for "Indy" fans, me being one of them. I liked the last film, "Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull". It was weird with the aliens, but it was the 50's, Roswell and alien stuff was happening there, so it made sense. I also liked that it left the franchise open for more films, but seeing as there's now no chance in hell really.................FUCK THE FOURTH FILM!!!! THE ENDING TO "THE LAST CRUSADE" WAS A PROPER ENDING TO THE FRANCHISE............NOW IT LOOKS STUPID!!!
"I think, for me, [Crystal Skull is] the last hurrah. I know that, yes,
we talk about it, but there’s no idea, there’s no MacGuffin."

Mutt Williams Says "Indy 5" Isn't Far Away From Filming!
Shia LaBeouf, who played Mutt Williams aka Indy Jr in 2008's "Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull" mentioned, in an interview, that Harrison Ford and himself are set to begin training in the gym for "Indy 5".
This is what LaBeouf said, "I talked to [Harrison Ford]. He said he's staying in the gym, he said he's heard no word, but he does know that [George Lucas] is out there looking for a MacGuffin. He said he's staying in the gym, so it means [the movie is] not so far off. I mean, [George]'s got to let it sit. He's going through his ruminations, which is extensive."
The fifth film was and still is set to be released either next year or 2013, at the latest.

Indiana Jones And Hannibal Lector To Cameo In "Zombieland 2"
It's been reported that the writers of "Zombieland 2" want both Harrison Ford and Anthony Hopkins to cameo in the zombie comedy sequel. The cameos call for the two legendary actors to play villains in the sequel and go head-2-head with Woody Harrleson and Jesse Eisenberg's character's.
There's no word if the actors have accepted the cameos or not, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

Indiana Jones And The Bermuda Triangle?
George Lucas and Steven Speilberg have released some small details about the plot of the 5th Indy film, which is to begin filming next year for a possible 2012 release. Most of the film is centred around the Bermuda Triangle. It's to be Indy's biggest and greatest adventure yet. And sadly, it's to be his last. Lucas and Speilberg have said that they plan to have this film be the conclusion to the whole franchise.
So that means no Mutt Williams spin-off series of films. Shia LaBeouf is planning to return to the role of Indy's son in the film.
