Jigsaw Will Return Within The Next Few Years!

Lionsgate have confirmed that gory game master Jigsaw will return to the big screen in the next few years. They plan to take their time on this next instalment, so it's rumoured that the new sequel, not reboot, as previously rumoured to be, will be out around 2016/17 at the latest.
It's assumed that "SAW" regular, Tobin Bell will return as dead Jigsaw in flashback sequences in "SAW VIII", like in the previous instalments.
I loved the "SAW" films. I consider the franchise as one of the greatest horror franchises of all time because unlike other basic horror films, it's smart. I just hope that when Lionsgate start filming and planning a new franchise, that Tobin Bell doesn't die!!! Ok, his character is dead, but his flashback scenes are great so it'll be weird if he REALLY dies. I guess they'll probably just recast or just take him out totally.

We May Very Well Be Seeing The Resurrection Of "SAW"

While continuing promoting his new upcoming horror, "Insidious", James Wan, original director of the first "SAW" film is now teasing fans on a possbile "SAW 8" sometime in the future.......WOW!!!!! "SAW" creator, Leigh Whannell weeks and weeks back teased fans on the franchise being resurrected. Now Wan is teasing it.
So could the two of them actually be secretly penning down ideas for "SAW: Resurrection" or "SAW: The Reboot" for the franchise's 10th aniversary?

Are We Gonna See "SAW: The Return" Film?

Original "SAW" creator, Leigh Whannell has said that he would like to return (he's very opened to it happening) to the franchise sometime in the future. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE? I loved the franchise, but I thought that last years "SAW: The Final Chapter" aka "SAW: 3D" was literally the final film. Looks like it's not then.
Okay, "Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter" turned out to not be the final film. But now I think it should be the end for this franchise, even though I really enjoyed it. Obviously if the franchise did return, then we'd see Dr Gordon as the new Jigsaw. We'll either see that or just another Hollywood reboot, as it was rumored last year after the final films release.

Tobin Bell Would Like To See Bryan Cranston Play Jigsaw In Any Future "SAW" Remake/Reboot?

While in an interview with Movieweb.com, "SAW" actor, Tobin Bell did say that if "SAW" was to get a remake or be rebooted sometime in the future, then he would consider Bryan Cranston for the role of Jigsaw.
Tobin Bell has heard that the famous "SAW" franchise is possibly being planned rebooted or even get just a plain remake in about 2 years time or even when the franchise hits it's 10th aniversary (2013 being the aniversary of the short-film and 2014 being the 11th aniversary of when the full-on franchise began). That kinda sucks though. I really don't want a reboot/remake. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too soon for a remake/reboot. Even worse than the "Spider-man" reboot. Which sounds as though it'll be AWESOME!
Even though the new film is said to be the final final final film in the franchise, Bell did say that there are talks of him relinquishing the role. And there are also talks of Dr Gordon returning for a "SAW VIII" and replacing Jigsaw as the killer. WTF?

I FUCKING KNEW IT!

Just under a couple of weeks back, the producers and writers of the "SAW" franchise insured us that the seventh installment was to finally be the last in the series. I said that I bet their will be another one. So now it looks like the writers of "SAW 3D" have came up with an amazing story for a proposed "SAW VIII".
"SAW" actress, Betsy Russell told Shocktillyoudrop.com that the writers have came up with the idea for a next one, if it gets made. She said that she loves the idea and would love to see it on the big screen. She also added that someday, somehow........."SAW VIII" will happen. Never say never........................

"SAW: 3D" Artwork?

No offence, but the first teaser poster for "SAW: 3D" is pretty shit looking. It doesn't say anything about "SAW". I really don't like it that much. For a teaser, it could've been better.

"SAW VII: 3D" Gets New Title!

Drum role please! The new title for "SAW VII: 3D" is................................................"SAW 3D: The Traps Come Alive. To be honest, I prefer the first title, "SAW VII: 3D".
The studio also plan to show of some footage from the last installment (probably wont be) at Comic-Con 2010.

I Wanna Play Another Game.........

I never even knew about this happening. I just went onto Wikipedia to find out more info on the upcoming, "SAW VII: 3D" and came across a some info on a sequel to the first game. AWESOME! The game takes place between "SAW II" and "SAW III".
The storyline is not based on the second film in the Saw franchise. Instead, the game is between the 2nd and 3rd films with a new protagonist, Michael. Michael is the son of David Tapp, who begins to seek the cause of his father's death, leading him into conflict with the Jigsaw Killer. The game will reportedly take the player to numerous locations including hotels, factories, sewers, and other places to pursue Jigsaw and find clues behind David Tapp's death.
Once again, Tobin Bell, who plays Jigsaw in the film series has returned for the game. The game is scheduled for an Autumn 2010 release, round about the same time as, "SAW VII: 3D" is released.

Dr Gordon Is Back For "SAW VII: 3D"

Finally, we get to find out what the fuck ever happened to Dr Gordon from the first "SAW" film.
Now that's the only info that I've got on his character. The other good news is that I have the plot details for the film and here they are:
in this final installment, as a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw's brutal legacy, a small group of survivors from some of Jigsaw's games gather to get support and discuss what they went through. The man that helps them is also a fellow Jigsaw survivor, called Bobby Dagen, played by Sean Patrick Flanery. He himself also has dark secrets that will be the beginning of a new killing wave of horror..........

"SAW VII: 3D" is due for release on October 22nd 2010. The full cast includes Tobin Bell, Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, Sean Patrick Flanery, Gina Holden, Chad Donella, Laurence Anthony, Dean Armstrong and Naomi Snieckus.

Is "SAW VII: 3D" The Final "SAW" Film?

Now, news is traveling around Hollywood, saying that "SAW VII: 3D" is gonna be the final SAW film in the franchise even though the SAW crew had plans to finish the franchise with "SAW X" in 2014 for it's 10 aniversary. They've decided to finish the franchise with this final installment in 3D, because the sixth film didn't bring in as much as the crew wanted.
"SAW VI" was the lowest-grossing film in the whole series to date, even though I thought the film was awesome. I thought it was the best in the second series. "SAW I-III" being the first series and "SAW IV-VI" being the kinda prequel-type origin story as-well as sequels to the first 3 films.
"SAW VI" writer, Patrick Melton of "SAWVI" has decided to incorporate the plot for "SAW VIII" into the seventh film. I seriously think that this new film will be a box-office hit because of the use of 3D technology. And even though the crew have decided to end the series, I think if this one is a hit on 3D, then I think they will continue the franchise, because there's a lot of story to tell now that (SPOILER ALERT) Jigsaw's wife, Jill Tuck has taken over as the Jigsaw killer now. Fucking epic surprise ending to "SAW VI".
Well see how this turns out after the release of "SAW VII". I think that the franchise is amazing, it has a real compelling mind-fuck of a story that seems to never end. Well, it does now though. "SAW VII" is due to be released on October 22nd of this year and will compeat with "Paranormal Activity II".
