Warner Register Domain Names From 2015 "Batman Vs Superman" Movie!

Earlier this week Warner registered some potential names for their upcoming 2015 "Man Of Steel" sequel. It was rumoured that the Zach Snyder sequel was going to be called either "Batman Vs Superman" or just plain old awesome "World's Finest". Now, it seems as thought the film could end up having an extremely interesting and very original title.

Here are the titles that have been registered:
1. Man Of Steel: Battle The Knight
2. Man Of Steel: Beyond Darkness
3. Man Of Steel: Black Of Knight
4. Man Of Steel: Darkness Falls
5. Man Of Steel: Knight Falls
6. Man Of Steel: Shadow Of The Knight
7. Man Of Steel: The Blackest Hour
8. Man Of Steel: The Darkness Within

Now the titles above are great, but the title or titles that jump out at me are "Man Of Steel: Darkness Falls" and "Man Of Steel: Shadow Of The Knight", even though that just sounds like a title for a "Star Wars" film but fuck it, why not. The last title that could work would be "Man Of Steel: The Darkness Within". There's a lot of darkness, black and knight used in these titles. Whatever it's called, I'll watch it to be honest!!!

"GLEE" Star Cast As The Flash In "Arrow" Spin-Off!

"GLEE" star Grant Gustin has became the lucky guy to play The Flash in the planned "Arrow" spin-off featuring the adventures of the fast paced superhero. The character will be introduced in three episodes of "Arrow" series two, which will be backdoor pilots for his own series which is said to begin filming as soon as the episodes hit tv. The show is expected to air sometime next year.
Warner have had plans coming and going for the red suited superhero to hit either the small or big screen for years but nothing has been set in stone until now. Plans are still reportedly going ahead for the planned "Flash" movie, which is set to be released in cinemas sometime in 2017/18. It's not confirmed if Gustin will play The Flash in that or if we'll see two different actors playing the superhero on the small and big screen.
I for one am excited that we're finally getting to see The Flash on the screen. He's an awesome superhero who deserves some screen time again after the cancellation of his series way back in the early 90's.

Josh Brolin And Many Others Up For Role As Next Batman!

So not only are fellow geeks going on about who the next Doctor will be, but we're also going on about who the next Batman will be. After this image above of "Men In Black 3" star Josh Brolin hit the net with his head photoshopped onto Batman's body, everyone went batshit crazy over it. The image above looks amazing. I don't think anyone even thought about Brolin when thinking about who could play the next Batman. He actually looks like Bruce Wayne from the cartoons, well the older ones from like the 90's.
There's a rumour that Zach Snyder and Warner are possibly searching for an older actor to play the role of their Batman in the 2015 "Man Of Steel" sequel. Brolin is 45 years old and is not bad for his age so he can still move about and fight, etc. They are also looking at Ryan Gosling, in case they go for a younger actor, Tyler Hoechlin from "Teen Wolf", Richard Armitage from "The Hobbit" films and even Luke Evans from "Fast & Furious 6".
An insider did sort if confirm that they are indeed looking for an older actor for the role of the next Dark Knight in "Man Of Steel 2", so that would mean that Brolin and Armitage have more of a chance than any of the others listed. Brolin and Gosling are speculated to be Warners top choice after their roles in this years "Gangster Squad".
Fans are expecting that The Dark Knight's story will be based around Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" comic book, seeing as a quote was read out at this years COMIC-CON.

COMIC-CON: "Justice League" Film Confirmed For A 2017 Release Date!

So while Zach Snyder was confirming a Batman/Superman film in 2015, Warner confirmed a Flash film too and now they've also fully confirmed that the "Justice League" WILL FINALLY BE A FILM IN 2017!!! That's right ladies and gentlemen.......a "Justice League" film IS coming out finally finally finally, but not in 2015 though. I think 2017 is a good time to release it. Gives Warner a lot of time to make it right. Plus, we've got Batman, Superman and The Flash to keep us going for a while.
It's assumed that Henry Cavill, the new guy playing Batman, the guy who's going to play The Flash are all returning for the "Justice League". It's also assumed that Ryan Reynold's will be returning too but nothing has been totally confirmed there yet.

COMIC-CON: Warner Announce "Flash" Film Coming Out In 2016!

So after years of speculation, Warner have finally confirmed that a "Flash" film is in the works and is set for a 2016 release date.
There's no word on who's making the new highly-anticipated film and neither has any cast members been confirmed too. Filming is expected to begin sometime next year alongside filming for the upcoming Batman/Superman film.
I honestly can't wait to see The Flash on the big screen. He's one of those superheroes who needs to finally get his own movie. I want to see Bradley Cooper or Chris Pine play The Flash, but as previously rumoured, Warner are possibly looking at "Pacific Rim" actor Charlie Hunnam to play the fast-paced superhero.

COMIC-CON: "World's Finest" Film Coming Our Way In 2015 With Zach Snyder Helming The Project!

I can't believe this is happening.........finally we're getting a Batman/Superman film and it's coming out in 2015! Henry Cavill will be returning as the Man Of Steel himself. Amy Adams and the rest of the cast of this years "Man Of Steel" are all set to return too. Zach Snyder is helming the "Man Of Steel" sequel featuring the Dark Knight, who will be played by a new actor this time around. No casting announcements have been made on that role yet or any other.
Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" plot will be used to bring this "World's Finest" film together. Snyder is directing, Chris Nolan and his wife Emma are exec producers and David S Goyer is writing the script.
"Man Of Steel" actor Henry Lennox came out on stage in one of the halls in Comic-Con and quoted this line from "TDKR" and this is what got the fans going that something cool was about to happen and then before you knew it, a Batman/Superman logo appeared on the screen.

"I want you to remember Clark in all the years to come. In all your private moments. In all the years to come, my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you."

I think the new logo is awesome! Loving the new Batman logo. It's very vintage and works out well in my opinion. I'm just looking forward to seeing who will be playing the Caped Crusader and also the newly rebooted costume.
This film is going to be just the best DC Comics film ever!!! Marvel and Joss Whedon have to seriously make sure that the next "Avengers" sequel is going up to scratch because they can't afford to loose out in fans. I've said it before and I'll say it again..........................2015 is going to be the greatest year in film ever!!!!

COMIC-CON: New "Batman" And "Justice League" Film Coming In 2015?

Again, rumours are surfacing on Warners plans for a "Justice League" film. A source says that the project has been in the works since the post-production and the release of this years Superman reboot "Man Of Steel". The source says that the studio plan to release the film sometime in 2015 alongside a newly planned Batman reboot, which is awesomely rumoured to be based around the cartoon tv show "Batman Beyond". Finally fans could see a big screen adaption of the much loved cartoon tv show.
I personally would love to see a "Justice League" film being made but I can't see it being released as soon as 2015. I think it would be rushed a bit so maybe release it in 2016 at least. In a way, I'd rather see another "Man Of Steel" film first before a full on "Justice League" film. Also, how will a "Batman Beyond" film work alongside a "Justice League" film? Is there going to be two different versions of Batman on the big screen? Like a present Batman for the "Justice League" film and a future one for the "Batman Beyond" film? Who knows........

"Kick-Ass" Villain Wanted For Lex Luthor Role In "Man Of Steel" Sequel!

So now that "Man Of Steel" director Zach Snyder, has "sort of" started work on his "Man Of Steel" sequel, rumours for casting have began. The role of Lex Luthor in the next film is the most active casting rumour.
"Kick-Ass" villain Mark Strong, is the number one fan choice for the role of Luthor and it's been rumoured online that he is in talks with both Snyder and Warner Bros. about the evil villain role. The sources are actually stating that both Snyder and Warner WANT Strong to play Lex Luthor in "Man Of Steel 2".
I personally think Mark Strong would be an awesome Lex Luthor. I actually spoke about casting him to a friend in work and now this rumour has come out..........PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE!!!

"Man Of Steel 2" Is Happening As We Speak!

It's been confirmed that "Man Of Steel 2" is officially underway with Zach Snyder returning to direct and David S. Goyer returning to pen the script. Henry Cavill is expected to return as Superman with Amy Adams expected to return too as Lois Lane.
An insider at Warner Bros is even saying that they plan to have the sequel out in cinemas as soon as Summer 2014. It's then said that the official "Justice League" film will follow in Summer 2015.

"Warner is already in development on a sequel to "Man of Steel" and is expected to fast track that for release as soon as 2014, said knowledgeable people close to the studio. In addition, it has long been developing a "Justice League" team-up movie featuring characters such as the Flash and Wonder Woman that could come out as soon as 2015."

David S. Goyer has been confirmed to write the script for "Justice League", as this is part of Goyer's three-picture deal with Warner. This is all extremely exciting for Superman fans and fans of DC comics too. I am so happy that there's finally going to be a Superman sequel rather than another reboot.

"Sons Of Anarchy" Star Playing The Flash?

Charlie Hunnam, star of TV's "Sons Of Anarchy" is said to be playing the role of The Flash in Warners planned "Justice League" film in 2015. Online sites are saying that his likeness is being used in concept art for the high speed superhero. We yet have any confirmation from Warner or Hunnam, but the sites are saying that the info is from trusty insiders over at Warner.
Personally I think he'd be pretty cool looking as The Flash. I've never seen "Sons Of Anarchy", but I've heard it's amazing and that he's great in it. Hunnam is next seen in Guillermo Del Toro's sci-fi film "Pacific Rim" with Idris Elba.

Jimmy Olsen To Become Jenny Olsen In "Man Of Steel" Reboot?

Zach Snyder's new Superman reboot "Man Of Steel" really seems to be changing things up in the Superman universe. First they change the suit and upgrade it. Second they change the music and make a completely new score. Third they change the color of Perry White by casting Laurence Fishburne in the role, which I think is a great idea. And now it seems as though the may be changing the sex of characters. Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen could possibly be a female in this 2013 reboot.
It seems that a few online sites have spotted this image and done their research and it looks as though actress Rebecca Buller has been cast as Jenny Olsen, according to IMDB. After seeing this screen-cap above of Fishburne's Perry White running with Buller, this rumor could make sense. Warner will probably make sense of this rumor soon enough.

Next "Batman" Reboot Not Happening Until 2017?

The Batman will return in his first solo film since last years "The Dark Knight Rises" in or around 2017 according to insiders over at Warner Bros. The next official appearance of Batman will be in the 2015 live action adaption of the "Justice League", but it's still unknown if that will be the official rebooted Batman or if there will be two versions. One in the "Justice League" and the other in the 2017ish solo film.

The "Justice League" Line-Up Revealed?

A rumored line-up for the 2015 "Justice League" live-action film has been leaked online. It reveals that Henry Cavill's Superman and Ryan Reynolds's Green Lantern could actually appear in the upcoming planned DC Cinematic Universe after all.
It's been rumored for ages that there would be two split universes. One was the planned reboot "Batman" franchise and the upcoming "Man Of Steel" franchise and the other was going to just be based on the "Justice League". Now it seems that it could be all one universe.
Here's the line-up, courtesy of ComingSoon.net:
• Superman is essentially the same character from Man of Steel, and Zack Snyder is consulting regarding the writing of the character.
• Batman: The strategist of the group. Batman doesn't really want to be involved with these super powered beings he considers too powerful. Easily the most complex written.
• Wonder Woman: She has only been in man's world a few short months. The Wonder Woman script Michael Goldenberg is developing will be set before the Justice League movie.
• Green Lantern: Will be Ryan Reynold's character from the Green Lantern movie, but will be freshly written with a more serious tone.
• Flash: The most popular hero in civilian eyes who loves media attention, but when called upon is very serious.
• Martian Manhunter: Alien who has lived on Earth in secret for over a hundred years who has knowledge of Darkseid and his reign.
• Aquaman: Will be the King of Atlantis who has a key role in the film.
• There will also be a heavy military presence in the film which in future rewrites could include characters featured in Man of Steel or even Amanda Waller (Angela Bassett) of which neither are included in the first draft.
• Alfred Pennyworth is in the film in a minor appearance.
• Lois Lane is also in the film in a cameo.
• Darkseid's Elite will be featured who go up against the Justice League early on in the film.

Test Footage For "Hong Kong Phooey" And "Marvin The Martian" Live-Action Films Released!

So test footage for a potential "Hong Kong Phooey" and "Marvin The Martian" live-action films has been released online by the films director, Alex Zamm. A Phooey film has been in works for years and Eddie Murphy has signed on to provide his voice for Phooey. He plays Phooey in this test footage, which by the way, is pretty damn good looking for just a few minutes of test footage.
I think the "Hong Kong Phooey" film could actually work alongside the likes of "The Smurfs" and "Yogi Bear", but it seems as though the project has been cancelled. This goes for the "Marvin The Martian" film too, which was set for a Christmas 2012 release date, but has now been cancelled also.
Marvin's test footage is good also, but lacks that small thing that Phooey's test footage had. I think Phooey's film was going along the lines of "Shrek" humor, which is for both children and adults, whereas Marvin's looks like it was going to go along the lines of just plain "Smurfs" childish humor.
Was going to upload the link to the video, but it's been taken down by the studio.

New "Man Of Steel" Poster Finally Revealed!

Finally, a new poster for Zach Snyder's "Man Of Steel" reboot has been released online for fans! It appears that Superman is under arrest, which is very interesting. Why would the man of steel be under arrest? And why isn't he breaking loose either? This is very interesting and I can't wait for the new trailer, which we will all see this month during the release of "The Hobbit-Part 1".

The "Superman" Theme Tune Will Be Totally Different In New Film!

Zach Snyder has confirmed that the awesome and much loved "Superman" theme tune by the great John Williams will be totally re-written for the upcoming "Man Of Steel" reboot. Hans Zimmer will take control of all music for the new film and he's said to be doing "something awesome." Here's what Snyder had to say about the sudden change in music,

"We decided to act as if no Superman film had been made - even though we love the films that have been made. We had to say this is a Superman movie for the first time and you can't then go 'Oh, now let's steal a little music. So, yes it's awesome music but Hans Zimmer is going to do something awesome."

In a way I do have faith with Zimmer and the choice to go with this extremely bold move with the music. Zimmer has composed some amazing music, not just for "The Dark Knight" trilogy, but for "Inception", "Gladiator", "The Da Vinci Code", the list could go on.
Here's the link to John Williams original score: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGUyNy07ZYg

Holden McNeil To Direct "Justice League" Film?

So it looks like Warner are racing ahead to get a BIG-screen live-action "Justice League" film up and running again in time for it to go head-2-head with Marvel's "Avengers" sequel in around 2015ish. The minute Marvel announced that Joss Whedon was returning to direct "The Avengers 2", DC and Warner rushed in and announced that the long-awaited "Justice League" film was looking for a key director to get the superhero on the BIG-screens. The said that they are looking at Ben Affleck to take the rains of the big budget film.
Apparently now Affleck has gave Warner and big fat "NO!!!" to the project. Variety magazine confirmed this yesterday after the word broke out from Warner Bros. that this was in the planning. Affleck obviously just feels that he's not up for the challenge just yet, maybe some day though.
See what happens when a studio opens their big mouths and says something out loud without thinking about it first. Probably if they spoke to Affleck in a meeting instead of announcing it and him hearing it from someone else, then maybe he would have said "maybe"................silly Warner!
Warner haven't thought any of this through though. Yes they had the "Justice League" filming in development since like 2004/5, but nothing has ever really picked up. Marvel on the other hand have released film after film after film, leading up to the main event that was "Avengers Assemble" or "Marvel's The Avengers".
We had background stories from each character, they crossed-over to let each other be known to each other and get ready for the assemble. Warner and DC are just planning to dive right into a "Justice League" film with a new Batman, probably a new Green Lantern, a Wonder Woman, a Flash and well let's hope.......Henry Cavill and Zach Snyder's Superman, rather than some other guy who we know nothing about.
DC and Warner are planning to release all stand-alone character films after the "Justice League" film, which personally I think is kind of a big mistake! Let them be known to the fans first before throwing them into the deep end with new actors, Superman, Batman and Green Lantern and new looks. marvel worked hard and achieved so much, whereas DC could fail, but only time will tell.

My "Batman" Reboot Trilogy Cast (Film 1-The Caped Crusader)

Now I know I've already done a "my casting" on the planned "Batman" reboot, but I thought I'd give it a second shot and do another one. This time it's the cast for a trilogy. This the cast for the first film, "The Caped Crusader".
There are mega changes to this one with some new characters and actors added to it to. I'd say that the film shouldn't go back and show us the origins of Batman. It should be like Tim Burton's "Batman", just have him being batman already, rather than back to square one again.
 Ryan Gosling As Bruce Wayne/Batman
I chose Ryan Gosling because I loved him in "Drive". In that he played a lonely shadowed out from the world type character and I think Bruce Wayne/Batman has always been like that too, so that's why I thought he'd be perfect. I cast Michael Fassbender as Batman in my first casting, but he's already Magneto and now he's signed on to play the Assassin in the "Assassin's Creed" live-action film, plus Gosling needs a superhero role.

Scarlett Johansson As Vicky Vale
Johansson is blonde, she's smart, she's sexy and I think that fanboys would be drooling over here again and again. I know she's Black Widow in "Avengers Assemble", but she could totally cross-over and play sexy photographer Vicky Vale in the first film to the planned "Batman" reboot trilogy. I'd have her in my reboot trilogy for sure!

Matthew Goode As Edward Nigma/The Riddler
At some point Warner Bros are going to have bring The Riddler back to the BIG-screens. Matthew Goode should be that certain actor to bring The Riddler into the 21st Century. He was so sneaky and bad when he played Ozymandias in Zach Snyder's "Watchmen".

Malcolm McDowell As Alfred
I've always liked Malcolm McDowell and I think he deserves to finish his career starring in an EPIC franchise. And what more of an EPIC franchise to finish in than the "Batman" franchise.

Brian Cranston As Commissioner Jim Gordon
I can't think of any other actor other than Gary Oldman, who could play Commissioner Gordon to a pee than Brian Cranston. He's a fan favorite and he's also my favorite. Him and Gosling had great chemistry in "Drive". They could bring that to this much loved franchise too.
