SDCC 2015: New Action-Packed And EPIC Batman Vs Superman Trailer Is Officially Released!
So to kickstart myself blogging again on this blog, let's talk about fans being treated with a nearly 4 minute Batman Vs Superman - Dawn Of Justice trailer last weekend at the 2015 SDCC. It was action-packed with plenty of Batman going head to head with Superman in Snyder-esque fighting style. It's an absolutely fucking majestic trailer to watch. Superman is made out to be a sort of villain, Lex Luthor is trying to take over the show as per usual, Batman is having flashbacks and then we all of a sudden have Wonder Woman jumping in and joining in on the action.
I must admit that at first, I wasn't a massive fan of Gal Gadot's casting as the upcoming big screen DC Movie Universe Wonder Woman, but after seeing her in action in the latest trailer, fuck me, she's got it nailed by the looks of it.
Jesse Eisenberg looks like he'll be on top form and possibly steal the show with his newly revived version of classic Superman villain, Lex Luthor. He seems so secretly sinister as if he's waiting to release his true evil when the film officially opens next Summer. I can't wait to see his Luthor.
Ben Affleck is just perfect as the lastest Bruce Wayne/Batman. He just looks like he'll own this role, even more than Christian Bale ever did! And on the note of Bruce Wayne, we get awesome confirmation that Watchmen actor and close friend of director Zach Snyder, Jeffery Dean Morgan WILL indeed be playing Thomas Wayne, father of Bruce. It was speculated ages ago that he was playing the father of our Dark Knight as a painting of him was spotted on the set of the movie outside, what was and is now confirmed to have been Wayne Manor.
The only weird thing about this new trailer and well, persumebly the film, is that Superman has guards, that's right, guards. There are some sort of task force team shown throughout the trailer with the "S" symbol on their left shoulders. Does Superman need help in this film? He's Superman!!! My theory is that they're Superman fan boys who want to help the Man Of Steel in this movie, similar to the Batman wannabes that appeared in 2008's The Dark Knight.
After seeing this new trailer for Warner Bros, Batman Vs Superman - Dawn of Justice, I personally think it's 100% going to be THEE 2nd biggest movie event of 2016, just after Captain America III - Civil War. It's got everything you want, Zach Snyder type of over the top fighting and CGI, a good strong sounding story, great cast, dark themed, action-packed, just everything you expect from a film that's to lead up to the full on Justice League two-parter.
Anyways, enough talking, get this trailer watched and enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAcbTd8Nd70
PS:
One more piece of fantastic news is that Ben Affleck aka our new Batman was just confirmed the other day that he will DIRECT, CO-WRITE AND STAR in his very first Batman solo film, which is rumored to begin filming sometime next year or possibly the beginning of 2017 for a planned 2018 release date. This could end up being the first Batman film to receive an Oscar for Best Film because BatFleck is a great director. I honestly think this is a big challenge for him to take on but I have total faith in him. Can't wait to see this in 2018!!!

Mark Zuckerberg Cast As Lex Luthor And The Pope Cast As Alfred!
"Social Network" star Jesse Eisenberg has been cast as the new Lex Luthor in Zach Snyder's "Man Of Steel 2" aka "Batman Vs Superman", that's due for release in 2016. People are hating that he's been cast but I personally think Eisenberg will be amazing because he's smart and cocky and can pull an evil ass look just like Lex Luthor does. You would think he's way too young but you have to remember that he's in his early 30's but because he's got a young face, he's not right for the role. I think he'll be amazing!!!! I still wish they brought back Kevin Spacey but hey-ho.
The EPIC Jeremy Irons has been cast as Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne's trusty servant, Alfred in the new comic book film. Again, another amazing actor has joined the cast of the highly anticipated "Man Of Steel 2". He's not Michael Caine but fuck me, he's a great actor.

Robert Downey Jr Was Set To Play Lex Luthor In "Flyby"
Director McG was in an interview discussing his new film, "This Means War" and during it he was questioned about his abandoned 2004 "Superman: Flyby" live-action film idea. He said that he cast current Superman, Henry Cavill as his "Man Of Steel". Now the next part was fucking strange, but at the same time, very fucking interesting, but McG mentioned that himself and Warner had Robert "Iron Man" Downey Jr signed on for the role of villain Lex Luthor in his film.
This is what he said about that casting and details on the film, "We had Robert Downey Jr. locked up to be Lex Luthor, which I think would have been extraordinary," McG enthused. But his pick for the Big Blue Boyscout is actually much less of a surprise. "Ironically, we liked Henry Cavill a lot, but we hadn’t cast him yet," he says of the actor currently wearing the tights in the upcoming "Man Of Steel." "J.J. wrote the script, and we got that to a really good place in the end," he says of the film, the first in a proposed trilogy. "But I’m to blame for [the film not happening]."
Could McG's Superman film have been great or even just worth watching or would it have been a train wreck, especially with the casting of Downey Jr as Luthor??? I guess we'll just never ever find out!!!

BIG RUMOR: Bradley Cooper To Play Lex Luthor In "Man Of Steel" Cameo!
One minute people say that Lex Luthor aint going to be in the new Superman film and then they say he is and then he aint again. Now a rumor has spread across the net saying that Lex Luthor WILL cameo in Zach Snyder's "Superman: The Man Of Steel" and he'll cameo in the form of "Hangover" star, Bradley Cooper.
Now I love Cooper as an actor and I really want him in a comic-book film in some sort of a way, wether he's playing a hero or as this rumor says.......a villain!
I would actually love to see him play Luthor in a cameo and hope that he becomes the main villain in the already planned "Man Of Steel" sequel. BRING HIM IN WARNER BROS!!!!

"Fringe" Star To Play Lex Luthor?
"Fringe" star, Michael Cerveris has been reportedly being considered, by Zach Snyder to appear as Lex Luthor in his upcoming "Superman" reboot, "Superman: The Man Of Steel".
Luthor will not likely appear for the full of the new movie. He'll most likely cameo near the end of the film, for a set-up to the sequel.

Harris As Luthor Is A MASSIVE Hoax!!!
Unknown actor, Adam Harris has come clean and revealed that the whole "him playing Lex Luthor in (Superman: The Man Of Steel)" is one BIG hoax. It's also been confirmed by Warner themselves. WHAT A DICK!!!!
This is what's been said about the Lex Luthor casting hoax: "OFFICIALLY 100% DEBUNKED: The actor who everyone thinks has been testing for LEX LUTHOR in MAN OF STEEL has just come clean. It's a HOAX!"
So who is going to play the evil Lex Luthor in Zach Snyder's "Superman: The Man Of Steel"? I'm sure it'll be announced sometime soon. Maybe Snyder and Warner don't want Luthor in the film. Maybe they're planning to keep him for "Superman: The Man Of Steel 2" aka "Superman: The Wrath Of Lex" (my own title).

Is Adam Harris REALLY Gonna Play Luthor?
News is traveling that Adam Harris is Zach Snyder's favourite actor to play his Lex Luthor in "Superman: The Man Of Steel". The images above are supposedly promo shots for the character.
He's supposedly had two readings with Henry Cavil (New Superman) and Amy Adams (New Lois Lane). But according to an inside source, Billy Zane is Warner's favourite for the role.

The Rock Talks About "Captain Marvel" Film!
During an interview with MTV news, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has commented on his possible role as villain, Black Adam, in the yet un-released BIG-screen adaption of Marvel Comics "Captain Marvel". He said that the film is indeed in 'development hell' and everyone just has to wait and see about it.
He was also asked about his rumored part in "Superman: The Man Of Steel". He was rumored to be playing either Lex Luthor or even The Man Of Steel himself. I can't see him as Superman, but I think he'd be great for the role of a much stronger and more powerfull Lex Luthor.
He also said that he and Zach Snyder do wanna work together on a project in the future. Maybe Snyder's sequel/prequel to "300", which is rumored to be based on Frank Millers "Xerves" story outline.
