Kevin Feige Confirms No Avengers Cameos In "IRON MAN 3"

Marvel producer, Kevin Feige, has confirmed that none of the other Avengers will appear in any way shape or form in Shane Black's 2013 "Iron Man" sequel.

"Iron Man 3 doesn't feature any of the other Avengers, or Nick Fury showing up, or any of those world-blending conceits that the Phase One films had. You have to keep in mind that Iron Man 3 had been in the works for almost a year, year and a half before The Avengers was released. We're sticking to the vision for these films, and showing once again that these characters are just as interesting alone as they are together."

Usually Sam Jackson's Nick Fury is usually the one that cameos in the "Iron Man" films, but not this time around.

"The Avengers 2" Gets It's Official Release Date!

The guys over at Disney confirmed that on May 1st, 2015................THE AVENGERS WILL AGAIN SAVE THE WORLD FROM EVIL!!!
It's rumored that Thanos and Loki will join forces and try to take down the team of superheroes in the highly-anticipated sequel. Thanos was introduced in one of the two post-credits scenes. Thanos is also rumored to be the lead villain in Marvel's "Guardians Of The Universe" live-action film.
He will possibly cross-over with the Guardians into the "Avengers" universe, even though the film is part of "Phase 2" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which means it's all one big universe to them.

Marvel/Disney Planning Live-Action "Avengers" TV Series!

Marvel/Disney and ABC are said to be planning a new live-action "Avengers" type TV show set in the same Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the BIG-screen films. Though the project is still in extremely early development, there's certainly a buzz around Hollywood about the MCU TV show.
A close insider over at Deadline said this about what he heard about the planned project,

“I’ve learned that Marvel’s TV division is in conversation with ABC and ABC Studios about doing a drama series in the Avengers world. I hear that the the connection to the Avengers franchise would be light as the project is expected to be set in the universe and feature some of its themes and feel but may not include any characters from Joss Whedon’s blockbuster.”

ABC are still also developing a new live-action "HULK" show, which is still rumored to be set outside the MCU and also "AKA Jessica Jones" series. Again, it's unknown whether "AKA Jessica Jones" will be set in or outside the MCU.......still cool though!

Garfield's Spider-Man To Web-Sling Into "Avengers" Sequel?

There's been speculation for months and months saying that the new Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield is set to pop up in the next "Avengers" film alongside Iron Man and the gang. Even though it may just be a cameo, after seeing these pics below, it makes it looks as though he may in fact be getting ready to do something in the next film.
It was widely rumored that Garfield was appearing in a cameo in the first "Avengers" film, but director Joss Whedon quickly confirmed that that wasn't happening. So maybe he's got a chance to appear this time around. The Avengers headquarters is set in New York where Spider-Man is, so why can't he just pop up in it with them? Only time will tell. Maybe Sam Jackson's Nick Fury will appear at the end of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and tell Garfield's Peter Parker "It's time!".

Nick Fury Joins "RoboCop"

Nick Fury himself, Sam "Motherfucking" Jackson is the latest actor to join the growing cast of the 2013 reboot of "RoboCop". He's signed on to play the character of Pat Novak, a TV mogul and BIG power in the "RoboCop" universe. This is obviously a new character, because there are no signs of the character in any other films in the ongoing franchise.

More & More Images From "The Avengers" Roll In!

"Iron Man" Will Continue The Way James Bond Does!

Marvel producer Kevin Feige was discussing what would happen to the "Iron Man" character and franchise once the awesome Robert Downey Jr quits. He basically said that the franchise will not end there and get rebooted. It will simply just continue like the way James Bond does. One actor leaves, and another steps in to take over the role.
Now I like that idea of doing that, rather than just reboot and start all over again with the exact same back story. Just continue on in the same universe until fans get bored and demand a reboot! The same thing will probably happen to Robert Downey Jr's "Sherlock Holmes". He did comment before the release of the second film that when he leaves, other actors will just continue on with the film series. Pick up where Downey Jr left off. The same is going with Batman. Next year they're slithy rebooting it for the "Justice League" film, but still kind of keeping it in Chris Nolan's universe, but with a new actor......SIMPLES!!!

UPDATE: Robert Downey Jr was speaking to an MTV reporter and gave fans some of his thoughts on someone taking over his role of Tony Stark/Iron Man in the future:
"I would really hate for someone else to think they could step into my shoes. I wonder who's playing Tony Stark next. Is it you? Is that what you're here to tell me? I know things are looking like that they could go on for a long while. As usual in my book, it's all about quality control and delivering a product that you can have this kind of reaction to. If they keep doing that, maybe I'll keep showing up."
