"Anchorman" star and all out Hollywood funny man, Paul Rudd and well, just fucking Michael Douglas, have both been cast in Edgar Wright's 2015 entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "Ant-Man". Rudd has been cast as the films leading superhero, but it's unknown which version of Ant-Man he'll play seeing as Douglas has been cast as an aged Hank Pym. It's assumed that Rudd will be playing Scott Lang's Ant-Man.
Douglas as mentioned that he's been dying for a role in a Marvel Comics film, or in fact, any sort of comic book film to be honest. The film's director and co-writter, Edgar Wright has said that we will see Douglas's Pym in action at the beginning of the film back in the 60's and then the story will fast forward to Scott Lang's story in the present day.

Paul Rudd And Rashida Jones Up For Lead Roles In "Ant-Man" Film?
So this is some very interesting casting but rumour has it that Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones are up for the lead roles of Ant-Man and The Wasp in Edgar Wright's upcoming 2014 comic book adaption of "Ant-Man".
It was rumoured that either Joseph Gordon Levitt or Paul Rudd were up for the role of Hank Pym aka Ant-Man. I for one would rather see Rudd play Ant-Man. Rudd seems like the stronger candidate for the role but Joseph Gordon Levitt is young and could carry on the planned franchise for years to come. Then again we could have another Robert Downey Jr situation on our hands and Edgar Wright does cast Rudd, who's at the age of 44.
Rashida Jones will be awesome as Janet Van Dyke aka The Wasp. She's smart, she's sexy and she just looks like she could pull the role of excellently.

"This Is Forty" Trailer Hits The Net!
Judd Apatows latest comedy film, which is a side-sequel to 2007's "Knocked Up" doesn't look as funny as I expected. It's looks like it may take the "Funny People" route and be both comedy and drama like, which I think is fine because I loved "Funny People". It showed us that Adam Sandler can really act serious and it was extremely funny at the same time with the help of Apatow regular film star, Seth Rogen.
Here's the link to the trailer and check it out for yourselves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxkNuHrS6cg

"Anchorman 2" Gets Official Green Light!
I can't believe I haven't spoken about this yet. Way last week or actually even over two weeks ago Will Ferrell appeared on American chat show "CONAN" and he appeared in character as legendary character Ron Burgundy. While on the show he confirmed that "Anchorman 2" was happening for real this time round.
Here's the link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrNA7RjU91I
The first films director Adam McKay is set to return to direct the sequel and all of the original cast are set to return also. McKay briefly spoke about what the story will be about and when it will be set, 70's, 80's or the 90's, etc.
This is what he said, "We're going to hole up... Usually in a month and a half to two months we can come up with the full draft, like a rough vomit-y draft. Then, you know how it goes, the real work is in the re-writing, so then we just pound it for the next five months."
He went on to say this, "So tentatively right now she's in. But obviously we kind of have to let it be what it's gonna be. We don't want to handcuff ourselves, but we love Applegate, so any chance to work with her is always fun."
And finished with when it will be set, "I'll tell you we're staying roughly period, and I would just say it's the next stage in the development of American media and news. The fun of these characters is they confront change very poorly. So they've got some more change coming their way. I can say that pretty safely."

Obviously, the return of the previous cast members, Dan Akroyd (Ray Stantz), Bill Murray (Pete Venkman), Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore), Harold Ramis (Egon Spengler), Sigourney Weaver (Dana Barret), Rick Moranis (Louis Tully) and let's not forget about Slimmer!
And now onto the new team of Ghostbusters and other possibly cast members!
Ed Helms as the newer verison of Egon (the brains of the new team)
Seth Rogen as the Pete Venkman type character
Paul Rudd as the Ray Stantz type character
Anna Faris as a new female Ghostbuster
Idris Elba as the new Winston type character
Jenna Fischer as the new teams secretary
Either Kiren Culkin or Michael Cera as Oscar (Dana's child from "Ghostbusters II")
Jon Hamm as the Peck type character (the dick-head of the film who tries to stop the Ghostbusters)
Sharlto Copley as some demon leader
And
Kevin Smith as Mayor Lenny Jr (cameo role)

"Knocked Up" Spin-Off Got It's Title?
It's now widely rumored that Judd Apatow's fourth film, which will be a spin-off to his 2007 film, "Knocked Up", will be called "This Is 40". It's rumored that the film will be based around how you feel when you turn 40 and still don't have kids. Hopefully Seth Rogen will cameo in this one, well him and Katherine Heigl too.

Paul Rudd & Leslie Mann To Star In "Knocked-Up" Spin-Off!
Judd Apatow will obviously be returning to direct the new spin-off. No word yet on what the spin-off will be called or what it'll be potentially about, obviously Leslie Mann get's "Knocked-Up".....well, I assume she does. But other than that.....NOTHING REALLY!
There's also no word on if Seth Rogen or even Katherine Heigl will make a return, even if it's only for a cameo. Hope they do.

No "Anchorman 2".......OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!
This fucking sucks ass! Paramount have officially said that they have passed on the "Anchorman" sequel. I really don't know why they have passed on it, becuase the first film was a big success and still has a big following. They really have made a big massive mistake by not making this film. And that's all I really have to say on this article.

The Anchorman Sequel To Begin Shooting Next Year?
Thank God! There may be a final starting date for the filming of "Anchorman 2" to begin shooting. "Anchorman" director, Adam McKay has pitched "Anchorman 2" to Paramount Pictures and he said that he may begin filming next February.
Now, Will Ferrel has been saying for quite a while now that the sequel has been put on hold. The sequel has been on and off hold for like the last few years, basically since the success of the first film back in 2004, so that's about six years now it's been on and off for.
But right now he has said that it is still in early stages and that he may not get the go-ahead for the sequel. Paramount would be crazy not to go-ahead with this, because the first was amazing and a box-office and financial success. So there!
The cast of the sequel have even all agreed to a pay-cut, just so that they can make this film. Now that's what you call dedication. They wanna make it even if they don't get payed much. They wanna keep their fans happy........
