Spidey's Suit To Get An Upgrade For "Spider-Man 2.0"

Obviously this was gonna happen. Andrew Garfield will be wearing a completely different suit in "Spider-Man 2.0" (that's what the reboot's being called right now), than what original Spidey, Tobey McGuire wore in Sam Raimi's Spidey trilogy.
According to a movie-insider, the new suit is completely skin tight. Garfield's wore the new suit in dress rehersals, but the crotch area keeps having to be fixed, as it's showing too much when the actor turns to the side and stands sideways. Now it's quite hard not to show anything in a skin tight suit. My friend was Spider-Man for Halloween and his suit was literally skin tight and you could see his penis. They may just have to end up CGIing Garfield's penis out.
I just can't wait to see this suit. There will most likely be some leaked pics hitting the net soon, as filming begins in a few weeks.

Mulder & Scully Discuss "The X Files 3"

David Duchovny, who plays Mulder, last week spoke about a script that is being written right for a possible "X Files 3" film, that originally has a 2012 release date. Show creator, Chris Carter said that if the second film was successful, then the third will be made. The second wasn't successful.
Now both Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are discussing the potential third film to NY MAG. Duchovny told the magazine that a script has been written and it's ready to be shown to Fox. The only thing is.........both him and Anderson aren't in it! What the fuck? Now there was rumors months and months ago suggesting that Fox were planning to reboot the franchise and go back to the beginning with young Mulder and young Scully meeting each other again, only this time on the big screen.
Duchovny did say "we're not in it". Now that can mean two things:
1. Fox ARE rebooting the franchise and ARE planning to introduce new characters, without Mulder & Scully in it AT ALL!
2. Fox reboot the franchise with Mulder & Scully mentoring the new team, like the plans for the third "Ghostbusters" film.
3. Mulder & Scully will be returning, but new younger actors will be playing them, like 2009's "Star Trek".
I'm gonna go with number 2, but I'm also moving towards number 3, because I don't think Fox will wipe Mulder & Scully completely and go with number 1. Nah! It'll be 2 or 3. Anderson and Duchovny did say that they would be willing to come back as mentors.
None of them know if Carter will return. He did write the script, but wether Fox use it or have him return as director, is totally up to them. He may even return as producer or even like Chris Nolan with "The Man Of Steel", be the godfather of the new franchise.

Two Greats Have Died: Leslie Nielsen & Irvin Kershner!

Leslie Nielson from the "Naked Gun" films and the "Airplane" films has died at the age of 84. He sadly died by complications from pneumonia earlier this today. This dude is a fucking legend. May he rest in piece.
And "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Robocop 2" director, Irvin Kershner has passed away too. He died today as well. He died at the age of 87 due to loosing the long battle with an illness, though not specified what the illness was.
Seriously, who's next?

Fucking AWESOME British Sci-Fi Film Is Coming To The Big Screen!

The film is called "MONSTERS". By the looks of the trailer that I saw on tv today, it looks like it may be like "Cloverfield", but fucking 10 times better than it. The monsters look kinda the same, but because it's British, they'll be better. We only get a glimpse of them in the tv trailer. It's fucked up but AWESOME!
The film has already been released in America and has got very positive feedback from critics. Now it's time for our British critics you give it the praise that it should get. It's out this friday.

"Ghostbusters" Confirms Casting Rumors!

Dan Akroyd has came forward and announced that Anna Faris and Bill Hader are on the top of his list for potential future Ghostbusters. And yes.....he did say Ghostbusters. That means that Miss Anna Faris could most possibly the first FEMALE Ghostbuster. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

DVD Cover For "DW: 2010 Xmas Special"

I really love the art work for the Christmas special. It's very different look from the usual cover art.. Usually it features the characters with the "Time Vortex" in the background, but I guess Steven Moffat has gone with a new look............and I'm loving it!
The DVD will be released on January 24th 2011. Special features will be "Doctor Who @ The Proms: 2010" and "Doctor Who Confidential: 2010 Christmas Special".

Emma Stone Talks About Spidey Reboot

Emma Stone was also in an interview with MTV, along with Andrew Garfield. This is what MTV asked her and this is what she said:

MTV: So you guys are in rehearsals, right? What is that process like at this point?
STONE: Today I went and did hair tests, because I have blonde hair now since Gwen has blonde hair. My natural hair is blonde, so it's kind of nice. I looked in the mirror and said, "Oh my god, it's me again, it's been so long!" We're finalizing the visual stuff. And I think we'll start actually rehearsing, because we start shooting in two weeks. Andrew and I went and learned about science yesterday. Gwen really likes science, so we learned about science. I was home-schooled, so I never went to chemistry class in a traditional setting like Gwen is into. That was really beneficial.
MTV: What have you conversations with Marc been like? Has he encouraged you to go back and read the comics or just concentrate on what's on the page?
STONE: There are a lot of changes happening on a day to day basis. There's a lot of open dialogue about where we're going with this and how Peter and Gwen are going to come together and what makes the most sense for the story we're telling. It's an ever-changing thing. We're still in that development period. It's so fantastic. My background is in improv and things like that, so this kind of ever-changing nature is ideal for me.

Renner To Take Over From Cruise In "Mission" Sequels!

Jeremy Renner has confimed that Paramount "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocal" plan to have Renner's character take over from Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt, if they choose to make sequels after the fourth film comes out next year. AWESOME! I fucking knew this would happen.
This is what Renner had to say: "It's a franchise to potentially take over. I can't predict the future and what they want, but that's certainly the idea."
Paramount plan to give the series a MASSIVE re-vamp. They originally planned to reboot the franchise with this film, but now it looks like they're rebooting it after this one. Nice!

Buffy Getting Big-Screen Reboot!

Last Tuesday, Warner announced that they are planning to make a big-screen reboot of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" without Joss Whedon, who's busy with "The Avengers", and any of the cast from his show. They're planning a fresh new look for the film and the character of Buffy. I see Emma Stone or Blake Lively probably being considered the role.
Warner plan to release the film sometime in 2012, most likely Halloween time.

Anne Hathaway As Lois Lane?

Now that Warner have began casting for the role of Superman, everyone's forgot about the other character's, like Lois Lane. Rumors have began on who will take on the role of sexy reporter Lois Lane in the upcoming film.
By the sounds of Zach Snyder's idea, the film wont need a Lois Lane. Like I said in my post about the possible plot, Clark Kent/Superman goes to West Africa and Smallville. But most of the film will be traveling around the world. She'll be in it if she travel's with him.
I really think that Hathaway would be perfect for the role. If not her then I'd go for Kate Beckinsale or even Jessica Alba (possibility).

Ozymandias Considered For Superman?

Turns out that Snyder wants "Watchmen" star, Matthew Goode to play his Clark Kent/Superman in "The Man Of Steel".
Snyder is also considering to have his Superman suit in full CGI, just like Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern suit. I guess that could be kinda cool, as Green Lantern's CGI suit in the trailer looks fucking AWESOME!

Bale Says "Batman 3" Will Be His Last!

This week, Christian Bale announced in an interview that the next Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises" will be his last Batman film. He also announced that Nolan is planning to leave also. We knew about Nolan already, but I'm kinda surprised about Bale leaving. I actually thought that he may stay on if Warner make plans for another film or even sign him on for a new trilogy. But looks like he's fucking off.
BIG WOW: Bale also said that the title for the third film may be fake. If it's a fake, then I wonder what the film will actually be called then?
"The Gotham Knight"
"The Dark Knight Returns"
"The Caped Crusader"
All possibilities in my mind. He said this because according to him, he's heard nothing about the title from Nolan. Only heard the title from the net. UH!

Superman In West Africa?

According to Zach Snyder (director of the new Superman film), he plans to have his Clark Kent/Superman travel the world as a young journalist, solving problems, but with his mind and not with his super powers. He will then end up in West Africa, where he will be inbetween a battle between two tribes. He will then have to use his super powers to stop a crisis that happens between them. Clark then returns to Smallville to find out more about his origins and to finally learn about the true hero that he was born to become...........AWESOME!

"Ghostbusters 3" Casting Rumors!

So, we know that Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver all returning for the new sequel, which begins filming next year. And we know that the film will have a new generation of Ghostbusters battling it out with ghosts.
SO! Casting has began on who will fill the roles of the "new generation" of Ghostbusters who will (I guess) take over and come back for sequels, if the third film is successfull enough.
At first, Ben Stiller was set to be a new Ghostbuster, but now he aint. Next was Seth Rogen. I would fucking love to see him play a Ghostbuster. But he aint as well. But rumors have began, saying that Bill Hader, Anna Faris and Will Forte are all attached to the film, possibly as Ghostbusters, maybe not. But I'm sure we'll find out soon, if filming is deffo the beginning of next year.

New Spidey Talks About New Spidey Film!

New Spider-man, Andrew Garfield was in an interview with MTV the other day. This is what MTV asked him and this is what he told them:
MTV: It's interesting you bring up "Doctor Parnassus." You shot that with Heath Ledger right after he filmed "The Dark Knight." Did the two of you ever talk about his experience bringing an iconic comic book character to the screen?
GARFIELD: We never really talked about that. The movie wasn't out, but I knew how excited he was. I was talking to his friends about it, who had been involved in the process, and they were so jazzed about how people were going to react to him. What I learned from watching him in that movie was that it was so honest and specific. Somehow he made this very broad character incredibly honest and human. There's so much to be learned from that, because otherwise during the big fight sequences, who cares, unless you have a good understanding of who the characters fighting are? I'm really excited for Marc Webb, because he's a real stickler for that sort of stuff. He wants everything to come from Peter Parker's dilemma, Gwen Stacy's dilemma, Uncle Ben's dilemma — everyone's struggles, so that in those bigger sequences, it's actually not just a cool fight, but there's heart and specificity.
MTV: I would imagine at this point everyone is giving you advice, mostly unsolicited, about the best way to bring Spider-Man to life. Is there one piece of advice that really sticks out for you as being spot-on?
GARFIELD: I was told by someone who should be listened to — I'm not going to say who it was — he said, "Don't try and live up to it. Don't think you have to live up to what that image and that symbol means to people." And first I thought that was really reassuring. But then you go, "No, I really want to live up to that symbol." When I was 12-years-old I saw the struggle Peter Parker was going through to be of use to society, I wanted to live up to that. And I realized that even Peter Parker is trying to live up to that symbol of Spider-Man he's created. That's what makes him so special: he's undeniably human and going through the same struggles as everyone else. So you try to live up to that symbol and then you have to be OK not living up to it, because not even Peter Parker can do it.

HAPPY 47TH BIRTHDAY To "Doctor Who"

I literally can't believe that I forgot to put up a post on "Doctor Who", as yesterday was the shows 47th birthday. I seriously can't believe I forgot. I found out last night and forgot to post one up earlier. Okay, it's a day late but still.........HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I was just watching a video that http://www.tardisspoilers.blogspot.com/ posted. It was a tribute video for the 11th Doctors, from 1963-2010 and hopefully onwards. The video is amazingly well done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHfMToH88kU
While watching the tribute video, i actually felt so happy and emotional at the same time. The show has  changed a lot in the last 47 years, from the special effects to the doctors getting better (well, and younger). Keep the show coming. Let's hope the show makes it's 50th, which i'm sure it will........

First Official Promo Poster For "DW: A Christmas Carol"

Keith Lemon: The Movie?

Over the past few months, Keith Lemon (fictional character created by Leigh Francis) has been discussing the possibilities of a big-screen movie about himself rising to fame and then loosing it all.
Yesterday on ITV/STV's "Loose Women", Leigh Francis appeared as the character of Keith and announced that the film is deffo happening, as he is writting the script when not doing his show, "Celebrity Juice" on ITV2, which he also said that the show will be returning for specials over Christmas and New Year before returning for a full series next February.
He plans for the film to begin shooting in January next year for a very possible November 2011 release. He also revealed that Paddy McGuiness will star in it as Keith cousin.
The upcoming film is to be called, "Lemon: The Film-Not In 3D!". Now that's what I call a kick-ass title. I love Keith Lemon. He's a fantastic character. And I love his ITV2 show, "Celebrity Juice".

First Cast Member Announced For "Torchwood: Series 4"

Arlene Tur is the first cast member to join John Barrowman and Eve Myles in the upcoming series of "Torchwood" currently titled, "The New World". It's unknown which character she will play, but I'm sure it'll be announced soon.
Filming is to begin early next year for it's possible Summer 2011 premire on Starz in America, before heading over to BBC 1 or 2.

"My Super Psycho Sweet 16" Star Cast As Flash!

Before I start, I don't mean The Flash, as in the DC character, I mean Flash Thompson from the Spider-Man universe. He's been cast in Marc Webb's upcoming reboot of "Spider-Man" as the character who was originally played by Joe Manganiello in 2002's "Spider-Man" and a small cameo in 2007's "Spider-Man 3". Manganiello is currently in the running for Superman in Zach Snyder's "The Man Of Steel".

First Amazing Look @ Bones McCoy As Dredd!

This picture was taken during rehersals for the new Judge Dredd film, "DREDD". Karl Urban looks amazing as the new Dredd. I loved the original film and I really loved Sly Stallone as Dredd, but I think Urban will be so much better. Loving the suit.......Thumbs-Up!

Some On-Set Pics From "DW: Series 6" (Filming In Utah & Various Other Places)

The First Teaser Trailer For "DW: 2010 Christmas Special"

On Friday night on Children In Need 2010, fans were treated to a 1 minute teaser trailer of this years Christmas special of "Doctor Who" titled, "A Christmas Carol".
The episode looks amazing, but so very weird. I'm so looking forward to watching it on Christmas Day. Katherine Jenkins is sooooo hot in the episode. Amy is wearing her Police uniform from "Series 5, Episode 1" and Rory is wearing his Roman uniform from "Series 5, Episodes 12&13.
In the trailer, fans are also told that "Time can be rewritten........" by Amy. And The Doctor tells Michael Gambon's character, who I think may be Scrooge, that he's "I'm the ghost of Christmas past........" EXCITING!
Here's the YouTube link for the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bEOrsJkijE

The President To Make A Cameo In "The Hangover: Part 2"?

Okay, ex President then. Reports on the net are saying that ex-US President, Bill Clinton is filming a cameo in "The Hangover: Part 2". No one knows what his character is called, if he's in the film, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

Tom Hardy Confirmed To Play Hugo Strange?

Some reports are saying that Tom Hardy's unknown character in "The Dark Knight Rises" is none other than Hugo Strange. According to the reports, it's been confirmed by the studio.
We'll just have to wait for an official announcement from either Warner or Nolan or even DC.

2011 To Go Paranormal For The Third Time!

Original "Paranormal Activity" director, Oren Peli officially announced that Paramount Pictures have greenlit "Paranormal Activity 3" after the second film brought in a lot of money in the box-office.
The plot is yet unknown. No ones knows if it'll take place after the second film, as the second film works as both a prequel and a sequel.
The third film has been set for an October 2011 release.

Is Daniel Craig Returning As Bond?

Since MGM announced that "BOND 23" is back on track, everyone has been wondering if Daniel Craig will be returning to the role of Bond, seeing as he's signed onto the "Millinium Trilogy" with the first film, remake of "The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo" being released sometime in 2011.
(Movieweb.com) spoke to Jeffrey Wright about if Craig will return for his thrid film, which will work out as the franchise's 23rd film in total. When asked if Craig was returning, he answered by saying that if he didn't return then the studio will cast a younger actor for the role and then get Craig to return for "BOND 24" onwards after finishing with the "Millinium Trilogy". Now does that MGM will be doing another Bond prequel set possibly before "Casino Royale". But on the lighter side, Wright did say that Craig is excited about returning to the franchise. He's trying to work around both films (Millinium and Bond).
Filming for the 23rd film begins next year for it's November 2012 planned release.

The Casting For The New Superman Begins!

Obviously it's time to take a telling that both Brandon Routh and Tom Welling are not coming back for the role of Superman in the new film. Sucks ass though. I would love to see Routh return.
Zach Snyder has officially announced that Warner have began auditions for the roles in the new 2012 film. They plan to begin production sometime in June 2011.
Snyder plans to cast an unknown actor for the role of Superman, like what Singer did with Routh for the 2006 "Superman Returns", which I still think was an EPIC film. Snyder and Warner are looking at actors between 28 and 32 years of age. Arnie Hammer, Joe Manganiello and Ian Somerhadler are all rumored to be up for the role.

Denis Leary Playing Captain Stacy In Spidey Reboot!

Actor Denis Leary from TV's "Rescue Me" has joined the cast of the new "Spider-Man" reboot. He has been officially cast as Gwen Stacy's father, Captain George Stacy. The cast in this reboot is amazing!
