The Hulk To Finally Get His Own Film Again?

I know I could've just added this to the post below about Mark Ruffalo and his "HULK" contract, but I thought it deserves it's own post. So yeah one of the big guys over at Marvel Studios, Mark Gitter, let slip that a new "HULK" film could get a 2015 release along with NBC and Guillermo Del Toro's new planned "Incredible Hulk" live-action TV show, which is set to hit our screens later next year.
This is what he said, "If Hulk’s successful turnaround continues, Gitter says Marvel “will spin him off to a stand-alone program next year,” supported by a big budget franchise movie in 2015."
So I was right by saying in the post below that one of those six films that present Hulk, Mark Ruffalo signed on for could indeed be a stand-alone "HULK" film or if he's lucky............a trilogy.

OH THIS IS EXCITING FOR MARVEL AND HULK FANS!!!!

New Hulk Has Six-Picture Deal With Marvel!

While in an interview discussing "The Avnegers", actor Mark Ruffalo was asked about how many films Marvel had signed him on for to play Dr Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk for. Ruffalo said that he was signed on for a maximum of six films.
I assume that the first three will be "The Avengers" trilogy and the others could possibly be his own "HULK" trilogy or even one of them and the other two are possible cameos in other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films.

"X-Men: First Class 2" Set For 2013/2014 Release!

20th Century Fox CEO Tom Rothman seems to be talking a lot about future Marvel films. First he spoke about the planned "Fantastic Four: Reborn" reboot film. Second he spoke briefly about a "New Mutants" film. Third he spoke about "The Wolverine" and finally he's speaking about the upcoming sequel to Matthew Vaughns 2011 "X-Men" reboot/prequel epic, "X-Men: First Class".
He said that "First Class 2" will hopefully see either a Christmas 2013/Summer 2014 release date. And he also confirmed that the sequel is planning to begin filming sometime in January 2013 too. He also mentioned that Matthew Vaughn, Simon Kinberg and Jane Goldman are currently working on the script right now.

"Star Trek 2" Spoilers Hit The Net!

A reader over at Ain't It Cool News sent new info on the upcoming "Star Trek" sequel. The info is major spoilers for the next film. I've read them, but don't want to post them up here I've posted the link to ComicBookMovie.com where they have posted the spoilers and you have to highlight the info to allow you to see the spoilers instead. The one main major spoiler is the true identity to "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch's villains name!

Is This Real Or Fake?

I found this poster up on some real comic book website and thought I'd just post it here. I really think it's an awesome looking poster for the upcoming reboot, but I'm not sure if it's real or fake. What do you guys and gals think?

"New Mutants" Film In The Works Over At Fox!

Fox CEO Tom Rothman has announced that the previously rumored "New Mutants" film is indeed in the works over at the Fox studios. He mentioned that it's only just in early development and that the studio haven't got any idea of any potenial directors yet but decisions will be made sometime this year. With that, I'm assuming that filming should be starting around next year with "First Class 2".

"Iron Man 3" Casting News!

Here's a round up of all the casting news for the latest and well supposedly greatest (says Robert Downey Jr) "Iron Man" film,
1. Guy Pearce has signed on to play Aldrich Killian, who is a scientist who is one of the creators of the Extremis virus (this is what this film is about, the "Extremis" story from the comic books).
2. Scarlett Johannson has been confirmed to not be returning as Black Widow in the highly anticipated sequel, but I'm sure she'll pop up somewhere else in another Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film.
3. Still no news on who Sir Ben Kingsley is playing in the film, but he's still rumored to be playing The Mandarin. Though it's rumored now that The Mandarin will not be a man, but the name of a terrorist group. That's very interesting.
4. Seeing as part of "Iron Man 3" is being filmed in Japan, "Internal Affairs" actor Andy Lau is reportedly in final negotiations with Marvel to play a part in the film. He's playing one of Tony Stark's old friend, who helps him try and defeat The Mandarin terrorist group.

"The Wolverine" Begins Filming In Japan Later This Year!

20th Century Fox president Tom Rothman gave fans updates on what going on with this planned "Wolverine" reboot/kind of a sequel film that's coming out next year.......well hopefully this time round. He said that filming will begin later this year, around August time in Japan and then in Australia.

"Chronicle" Director Still Up For Rebooting The "Fantastic Four" Franchise?

While giving fans updates on "The Wolverine", 20th Century Fox president Tom Rothman confirmed that "Chronicle" director Josh Trank is still up for directing Marvel's planned reboot of the "Fantastic Four".
This is what he said on the topic, "I'm hopeful. I think Josh is going to come on to Fantastic Four and develop that."

"Iron Man" Will Continue The Way James Bond Does!

Marvel producer Kevin Feige was discussing what would happen to the "Iron Man" character and franchise once the awesome Robert Downey Jr quits. He basically said that the franchise will not end there and get rebooted. It will simply just continue like the way James Bond does. One actor leaves, and another steps in to take over the role.
Now I like that idea of doing that, rather than just reboot and start all over again with the exact same back story. Just continue on in the same universe until fans get bored and demand a reboot! The same thing will probably happen to Robert Downey Jr's "Sherlock Holmes". He did comment before the release of the second film that when he leaves, other actors will just continue on with the film series. Pick up where Downey Jr left off. The same is going with Batman. Next year they're slithy rebooting it for the "Justice League" film, but still kind of keeping it in Chris Nolan's universe, but with a new actor......SIMPLES!!!

UPDATE: Robert Downey Jr was speaking to an MTV reporter and gave fans some of his thoughts on someone taking over his role of Tony Stark/Iron Man in the future:
"I would really hate for someone else to think they could step into my shoes. I wonder who's playing Tony Stark next. Is it you? Is that what you're here to tell me? I know things are looking like that they could go on for a long while. As usual in my book, it's all about quality control and delivering a product that you can have this kind of reaction to. If they keep doing that, maybe I'll keep showing up."

"BOND 24" Being Lined Up For A 2014 Release!

Sony have announced that an official trailer for this years "Skyfall" will be released later next month. They also took the time to announce that they are already making plans on a "BOND 24", which they hope to have out sometime in 2014. They went on to say that they are also planning to get back to the whole "one Bond film every two years" route. So we can assume that "BOND 25" will be out around 2016, which really is when present Bond, Daniel Craig's original contract with the role should've expired.
After MGM went bust, the contract was trashed and re-done for just this upcoming film. Craig can say yes or no to the 24th film if he chooses to. But I'm very sure that he'll come back for both 24 and 25 at least. Let's just hope that when he does leave, Sony don't just reboot again. Just keep it going like the good old days.

"This Is Forty" Trailer Hits The Net!

Judd Apatows latest comedy film, which is a side-sequel to 2007's "Knocked Up" doesn't look as funny as I expected. It's looks like it may take the "Funny People" route and be both comedy and drama like, which I think is fine because I loved "Funny People". It showed us that Adam Sandler can really act serious and it was extremely funny at the same time with the help of Apatow regular film star, Seth Rogen.
Here's the link to the trailer and check it out for yourselves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxkNuHrS6cg

"Kick-Ass" Creator Gives Update On BIG-Screen Sequel!

"Kick-Ass" creator Mark Millar has yet more updates on the progress of the BIG-screen adaption of "Kick-Ass 2: Balls On The Wall", "I literally just got a hard copy of the screenplay delivered this morning. What can I tell you that nobody knows? Actually, not a lot if you’d read the book because it’s a very close adaptation. I can tell you that Chloe’s a lot taller. Her brother’s about 6’5 or something so I’m hoping she stops growing soon as we’re planning a third one too."
"Kick-ass 2 films this Summer. I expect there will be an announcement of some sort in the next week. Certainly before Kapow next month for sure."
"Matthew is co-writing and producing, Kick-Ass being a labour of love for him. He selected the perfect director last year and we're very, very happy. Trust him...he knows what he's doing."

Earths Mightiest Heroes All Together!

A new image has been released featuring all of Earths Mightiest Heroes together as one group. This image is from the films EPIC climax. I went to see the film last night and all I'm saying is that like the reports say, "You will not be disappointed" because it is the most incredible film that Marvel have ever let get made into a film and Joss Whedon and the gang should be so, so, so fucking proud!!!

ROLE ON "AVENGERS 2"

"Apes" Sequel Coming Out Next Summer!

Fox have finally announced that they have begin work on their highly anticipated sequel to last years "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" reboot/prequel. They confirmed that they plan to film sometime this year and hope for a Summer 2013 release.
Andy Serkis last August confirmed that he will be returning to play lead ape Caesar in multiple sequels, though there is no real word if the director, Rupert Wyatt will return.

UPDATE: Director Rupert Wyatt will return to direct the sequel and it's expected to get a Summer 2014 release rather than the previous report of a possible Summer 2013 release.
