The Newly Redesigned 2010 Tardis

I thought that the makers of Doctor Who: Series 5 would keep the new inside design of the Tardis under wraps until the premier on saturday night. But looks like they got that excited that they aloud the Radio Times crew take pictures of the new Tardis on it's own and one with the new Doctor and his sexy Companion in it too.
I think the new Tardis looks pretty cool. It's not amazing, but hey, it's bigger than Tennant's Tardis. But Steven Moffett intended Smith's to be bigger, because the Tardis that we're seeing was meant to be the Tardis that Tennant was gonna have, but the great Russell T. Davies was never given enough money to build it.
Now they have enough, so they are with the Tardis they've always wanted. And the cool thing about this one is that it has levels, well according to Matt Smith, it does.

The New Official "Iron Man 2" Poster

How fricken awesome does this new official poster look! I just bloody love it so much. They've took the original look like the first films poster and put the second film characters into it. Now that's what yah call continuity.
Now this will probably be the DVD cover or even something like this. It's so cool. Some people have said that it's lame. I say fuck'em. Who gives them the right to bad mouth this fantastic poster. I don't know if this will be the last of the IR2 posters or if they will design a 2nd one or even a 3rd one.

There Is No B-Team....Only "The A-Team"

The new A-Team film looks really good. Now, I've never bothered about the original 80's A-Team. All I know about it, is that Mr. T was in it. But when Hollywood announced that they had plans to release a new film I thought that I'd not really bother about it, till I saw the trailer and who's playing who. DAME! It's such a kick-ass trailer. So much action and fast-paced. I think that it'll be a big hit and a deffo summer blockbuster.
The pic above is of the new team. How cool do they look. Amazing. Here's also a link to the trailer below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z93AADd2Dpo

Eleventh Doctor Has Broken Sonic Screwdriver Four Times!

New Doctor, Matt Smith has confessed to have already broken about 4 of his sonic screwdrivers from the new series, while he was getting used to the role of The Doctor.
He told the Radio Times, ''I've broken four of them...I like to have it about my person at all times, just twirling it around and flicking it. It's all part of the magic, isn't it?''
I have to say, after watching Matt Smith on Friday Night With Jonathon Ross, I think he's gonna be great for the role. He's so enthusiastic and happy and hyper about it. In the interview he showed us the new sonic screwdriver and he was showing us how it worked and that the top part opens. Watch the video of the interview below, if you haven't already seen it.

Could Rachel Weisz Be The New Lead Female "Bond 23" Villain?

According to various websites, Oscar Winning Actress, Rachel Weisz is being tipped to play the new Bond Villain in the next Bond film, so far under the working title "Bond 23". Right now it's just a massive rumor, because the same thing was said about actor, Michael Sheen, who was also tipped to play the villain in the next Bond film. He was rumored to be playing the new Blofeld, which would be amazing, but turned out to be false. So, if this is true then it would also be so amazing, because we've never really seen a female actress playing the head Bond Villain in the film. The only female villain that we always see is like the main villains wife or girlfriend, that's all really. So it would be good to see this for a change.
Supposedly she's gonna be playing the head of the organization, Quantum, which is mainly the centre of Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale. (SPOILER ALERT for those who haven't seen Bond 21 & 22) So basically she's the person that really killed Bond's lover, Vesper from Bond 21. BITCH! A bet Bond will be so pissed to find out that the true villain is a female. I'm not being sexist. This is actually awesome to hear. All I can say is, "BRING IT ON!"

"Scott Pilgrim" Looks KICK-ASS!

When watching KICK-ASS, I came across the Scott Pilgrim trailer. Now, I've never heard of this Scott Pilgrim guy or the comic series before the film, but after watching the trailer, I want to buy the comics. The trailer is amazing. I'm so looking forward in seeing it when it comes out. I think the plot, from what you see in the trailer is about a young boy, Scott Pilgrim played by Superbad star, Michael Cera, who fancies a girl, who's played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who has 7 ex-boyfriends. WOW! I tell yah, that's a lot for a girl.
Anyway, it turns out that her ex-boyfriends are super-villians. So basically, to get rid of the ex's, Scott has to defeat them all in various different ways. Even tough you don't really get a lot from the trailer, it really seems like a film that I would deffo go and see.
Here's the link to the trailer, check it out and see what you think....

"KICK-ASS" was really a KICK-ASS film!

So I went to see KICK-ASS with my friends in Cinaworld up in Glasgow on saturday night and I...well, we all loved it. The film was so cool. It had everything you want in a film, action, comedy, darkness, violence...OH, and a 11 year old foul mouthed girl called, Hit Girl.
Some of the violence was a bit to much to handle, but what the hey. I loved it. I don't want to give any of the plot away for those who wanna see it, but all I'm saying is that there were parts of the film that you didn't expect. Matthew Vaughn really kept some big surprises from us and only showed us what he wanted in the trailers.
There were some thing's in the trailers that turned out to be completely different in the movie itself. OH! and he also finished the film with a heck of a cliffhanger, saying that there should hopefully be KICK-ASS II and KICK-ASS III, sorry, gave to much away. But I walked away from the film, not really having anything bad to say about it. I would definitely give it a big 10/10 for sure and I'm so gonna go and see it again before it leaves the cinema's.

FOX WANT "INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 & 3"

20th Century Fox have just finally announced that "Independence Day 2" is on. But not only are they wanting film 2, but they've also signed a contract for film 3 and they are both gonna be filmed back-to-back with each other.
They also supposedly have Will Smith and Roland Emmerich (director of the first film) back on board. Fox stated that they hope to begin filming next year for a 2012 release. But wait, according to Roland Emmerich's previous film "2012", the world's surppost to end....SHIT! They better bring the films out before that then.

Who I Think Should Be Cast In The 2012 "Spider-man" Reboot!

So far we know that Marc Webb is the director and that writers are basing the new film on the "Ultimate Spider-man" series. Sounds cool. There is no cast and no title, just rumors. Below is a list of the main characters in the series and who I think should play them:
 Peter Parker/Spider-man
I'd go for someone like the guy from that new Percy Jackson film, Logan Lerman. He's 18 years old and he's been rumored to play the new web-slinger, and I for one think he's pretty geeky looking anyways...so he'd be perfect for the role.
My other choice would be Jesse Eisenberg, because he was awesome in Zombieland and I also think he would suit the kinda geeky superhero part.
My third choice would be, Taylor Lautner, only if could manage to geek him up a bit more than just now. He's the right age for the role and he's really just began his whole blockbuster life-style and I think this franchise would help him with his career when the Twilight franchise is over.
And my final choice would be, Adam Brody. He was amazing in "The O.C.". He was such a geek and people compared him to me. He knows his comic-books and I think he would take the role the minute he is given it. I would love if he was even a front-runner for the role.
Mary-Jane
I think that Emma "Zombieland" Stone would be great as a younger Mary-Jane, even though in real-life she's like 4 years older than Logan. But hey it's cool, because older stars can get away with playing younger people in TV shows and films.
If not Emma Stone, then my other choice would have to be none other than Evan Rachel Wood, who plays Mary-Jane in the broadway version of Spider-man, Spider-man: Turn Of The Dark. I haven't seen it personally, but she does look the part though.
Harry Osborn
For the role of Peter's best friend, I think the role should go to Glee's Cory Monteith, because he just looks like he would play the role well as the rich kid turn badass as The New Goblin. He so has the brow of an Osborn family member.
My second choice would be, Robert Pattinson, because he so has those kinda evil, kinda look in his eyes in Twilight. Obviously, he can't be as dark as Harry Osborn as he is with Edward, but I still think he's a good choice though.
Gwen Stacy
The role of Gwen Stacey should go to someone like Hayden Panettiere, because she's so cute and she plays the role of Claire Bennent in "Heroes" amazingly. She's also round about the right age for the role. She's 20 years old and the characters like 17/18. She plays Claire in "Heroes", who's like 18 anyway. She'd be fantastic for the role. She's my one and only choice for the role.
The Villian
The role of the villian goes to who the the writers choose to be the villian in the movie. If the writers choose Kraven The Hunter, then I think that Jeffery Dean Morgan would be great for the role because he's a badass and he's looks like one to. He's fantastic as The Comedian in "Watchmen". Bit of bad in him and a bit of good. Perfect.
My other choice for the role of the hunter would be, Gerard Butler. Again, badass look to him and he's so cool in "300". He's a warrior, a hunter. He's got so much anger and he just wants to let it out, so let it out by playing Kraven The Hunter. Plus, he seriously needs to get out of all those rom-com movies and back into badass action films, like "300" and "Law Abiding Citizen".
Another good villian would be, The Lizard. Get Dylan Baker back to finally play The Lizard. I personally feel bad for Baker, because he never got a chance to turn into The Lizard in the Raimi Trilogy. We'll never get to see him become the green dinosaur, which sucks-ass. Even thought it's a reboot and in the rules a reboot has nothing to do with the original, but fuck that we rule and just bring him back, then even if they have to, kill him off for good at the end of the film.
And that's basically all I have to say about the cast choices. Hope you enjoyed reading this article and that you think I'm right with some of the choices and what I think. If you have anything to say then leave a comment or email me.

"IRON MAN 2" Gallery

1,2 The New Freddy's Coming For You...and he's looking creepier than ever!

This is the first real proper close-up of the new Freddy Krueger, played by Jackie Earle Haley, who played Rorschach in Watchmen. What we're seeing is what a real burn victim should look like. Robert England's Freddy was creepy, but after Elm Street 3, he just an everyday thing. He lost his whole scare-factor.
Jackie is trying to bring that scare-factor from the "Elm Street 1 & 2" back onto the big screen with his Freddy, as well as trying to be a lot more grittier. He also gonna bring some of his own spice to it. This time.....Freddy ain't cracking no jokes.
It's all about the killing. I'm so excited about "A Nightmare On Elm Street" 2010 Reboot/Remake Film. If you haven't already watched the new trailer, then do it now on YouTube.com

The Eleventh Hour Is Coming.........

So on Saturday 23rd April sees the triumphant return of The Doctor since his regeneration and his destruction to the TARDIS at Christmas.
Same man, new body. Matt Smith is the 11th actor to take on the role since it started back in 1963. Not only his he new, but his companion is new and so his his TARDIS.
His new companion Amy Pond, who is so far being described as The Doctor's sexiest companion, and I for one agree big time. She's ginger, she's scottish and she's in a skimpy wee police woman's uniform in (Episode 1) of the new series. The new TARDIS will be twice the size as the 1oth's TARDIS says new boss, Steven Moffet, who's taken over from the great Russell T. Davies. In the new trailer, we get a quick glimpse of the new interior of the TARDIS and by the looks of it, it has a lot of floors and stair-cases.
The series also see's the return of some old favourites, like, The Daleks, The Cybermen, The Weeping Angels and The Silurians (this will be there first appearence on Doctor Who since 1984).
The producer's of the new series also promised an epic finale for Matt Smith as The Doctor. Rumors are spreading, saying that The Doctor will battle The Cybermen, The Daleks and The Sontarans all at the same time. And will also finish with a cliffhanger.
All I can say about the new series is that the trailers that have been released so far are amazing and that I'm so looking forward to Series 5 starting and can't wait to see Matt in action in a full series.

Chris Evans Cast As The First Avenger!

OMG! I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I saw that Chris "The Human Torch" Evans has been confirmed by Marvel, to play Captain America in "The First Avenger: Captain America".
I actually thought that it would go to that guy from The Office: US (John Krasinki), but I guess not. He would have been good though, but Evans is still gonna be good. So far the cast is Chris Evans as Captain America and the great Hugo Weaving as The Red Skull.
So a wonder what fans will make of this, seeing the fact that Evan's has already played a Marvel Comics character, Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch from The Fantastic Four films. But all I can say to him is good luck and lets hope the role goes down well for him.

"The First Avenger: Captain America" is scheduled for a July 2011 release.

Spider-man: 2012 Marc Webb Reboot! (good & bad things about it)

Yes! It has been announced that Sony have cancelled Spider-man 4 and are rebooting the Spider-man franchise and starting all over again from the beginning. Some people say it's a good thing and others say it's a bad thing. I for one say that it's mixed really. Here's bullet-points of the good and bad things about the reboot.

The Good:
1. New Directions: Marc Webb can do thing's with the franchise that Sam Raimi never did like finally show Dr Connor's become The Lizard or even have Spidey battle Rhino!Make the story a little bit darker than the old family/friendly look and feel.
2. The new movie might be getting filmed in 3D. Marc Webb has been speaking to James Cameron about it.
3. Change the title to something cooler than just plain-old Spider-man (again). Call it something like "The Amazing Spider-man" or even "Ultimate Spider-man".
4. This is'nt really a good or a bad thing, I just want Marc Webb to redo the Venom character. Topher Grace's portray as Eddie Brock/Venom in "Spider-Man 3" was ok, but not like the comics. He needs to be done right this time round, if they choose to do him.

The Bad:
1. New Cast! Now this counts as both a good and a bad thing because that's the end for big Tobey McGuire, which is rubbish because a really like him as Spidey, but he's getting a wee bit too old now so time for someone new I guess.......wonder who it will be though?
2. New theme tune. I loved and still love the Danny Elfman score and I hope that the studio don't ask him to right a new one, because it probably won't be as good as the original. Just like the Terminator Salvation score...good but not the same as the original.
3. They probably show how Peter became Spider-man again, like we already don't know how it happened.
4. We'll never find out how Peter & MJ got on after Spider-man 3. All we saw were the two of them dancing. Whether they were the same as before...we'll never know. Sucks-ass!

Christopher Nolan's Batman 3 & Superman 3.0 Reboot!

So Warner Bros. want to reboot one of their most successful franchises after the amazing 2006 film, "Superman Returns" (directed by the great Bryan "X-Men" Singer). Warner have chosen to reboot it because supposedly "Superman Returns" wasn't as successful as they imagined, it didn't rake them in much money. Meaning that the new film (which is so far being called, Superman 3.0) will have absolutely piss all to do with Singer's film which I think is shit, because Singer had a good story going. This means that we will never find out what happened to Lex Luthor and Kitty on that desert island and also never find out if Lois's son (which turned out to be Superman's son as well, instead of Perry's nephew's son! BUMMER!) grows up to become the new Superman.
So everything was basically left off with a cliffhanger telling us that there were plans for a Bryan Singer- "Superman Returns" sequel to be called, "The Man of Steel" But now that story will never see the light of day just like Kevin Smith's "Superman: Reborn" script! So Warner will now look for a new director. And after looking over at the success of the rebooted "Batman" franchise, they thought "Hey! Let's get Chris Nolan to help us pick Superman up from the ashes and help reboot it all!" Meaning that they will probably recast Superman, even though Brandon Routh was the best and looked identical to Christopher Reeves (in my opinion).
So, no one knows if Nolan is just mentoring it or if he's actually gonna direct it, who knows! I for one think he will make it amazing and possibly a bit darker than any other Superman flick. I wonder how Nolan's going to kope, he's signed on to direct the yet untitled "Batman 3" film with David Goyer writing it (and the Superman 3.0 reboot) and now he's mentoring (possibly directing Superman 3.0 reboot! WOW! What a man! He's got a lot of work to do in the next few years! Good Luck Chris! OH, and also David!
