Two New Images From "Skyfall"

A New Awesome Holy Fucking Shit Trailer For "Skyfall"

So a new full length trailer for the upcoming Bond film "Skyfall" has been finally released. It's packed with so much action and so much new scenes, that it's too much to take in, in what's happening second after second. We finally get a good proper look at Javier Bardem's villain and boy is he fucking creepy looking. He's got pure blonde hair, but looks scary. He seems as though he's like The Joker of the Bond films. He looks as though he'll be totally different from any other Bond villain. He's well sadistic too! He's seriously breaking James Bond down..........piece by piece, mentally and physically!
An interesting thing about Bardems character is one of the things he says to Bond in this exact scene, when talking about "M". He says to Bond something like, "this is what she made us". Now could Bardems character, Raoul Silva, who is rumored to be an updated rebooted version of classic Bond villain, Blofeld, be an ex-MI6 agent or even worse..........an ex 00 like Alec Travilian aka 006 in "GoldenEye" played by Sean Bean? Only time will tell!
We also get to see "Q" for the when he meets 007 for the first time in the trailer too. Looks as though it'll be a nice wee scene to watch. Definitely expecting some banter between the two of them in this film, if not it that scene alone. "Q" introduces himself as the Quartermaster. never even knew that's what the "Q" was short for.
And Bond gets shot for the first time ever in any Bond film or book. Whither he's wearing a bulletproof vest or not, it still shows us that James Bond is still only human. The interesting thing about his shooting is that Eve (Naomi Harris) is the one that pulls the trigger. Eve is the new (still rumored to be) MoneyPenny in the film. Another interesting thing is that "M" is giving her the order to shoot Bond.
And one more thing, the MI6 Headquarters looks as though it's gets blowing to hell after seeing this quick flash shot halfway through the 2 and a half minute trailer.
Here's the link to the trailer on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgr2syY_OU4&feature=player_embedded

Three Possible Titles For "The Hobbit-Part 3"

Now that we've had confirmation that "The Hobbit-Part 3" is also getting made and that Peter Jackson will return as the director, all eyes are now on the subtitle will be for the third part in the prequel trilogy.
Part 1 is called "An Unexpected Journey", part 2 is called "There And Back Again" and New Line have registered not one, not two, but a possible three titles for part 3.

1. The Hobbit: Riddles In The Dark
2. The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug
3. The Hobbit: The Battle Of Five Armies

Personally I like the third title choice, "The Battle Of Five Armies". I don't know why though. I guess it just sounds right for a "Lord Of the Rings/Hobbit" film really.

"Shining: The Beginning" On The Way?

It's been reported that Warner Bros. are toying with the idea of bringing "The Shining" back to life on the BIG-screens. Reboot you say, remake you say, sequel you say, no but prequel I say. Yes the new film, if it gets made will be set before good old crazy Jack Torrence (Jack Nicholson) and his family even step foot into the scary old Overlook Hotel.
In the book, written by legendary author Stephen King, there's a lot of Torrence's past look into. So this prequel could be looking at either his messed up childhood or even just to back to the time the caretaker, Mr Grady and his family set foot in the Overlook. I would love to see the film based around him and his family.
James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer and Laeta Kalogridis have all reportedly been brought in to write and produce the planned prequel, but nothing yet has been set in stone with confirmation wise.
Stephen King is also writing a sequel to the original, which will be set in the life of Danny Torrence (Jack's son) at the age of 40 and working in a Hospice helping the sick and dying. He uses his shining to talk to the patients who are near death and helps them die in peace. The book is titled "Dr Sleep". Whether or not Warner make this into a film too is yet unknown, but more focus is on this prequel first.

Marvel/Disney Planning Live-Action "Avengers" TV Series!

Marvel/Disney and ABC are said to be planning a new live-action "Avengers" type TV show set in the same Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the BIG-screen films. Though the project is still in extremely early development, there's certainly a buzz around Hollywood about the MCU TV show.
A close insider over at Deadline said this about what he heard about the planned project,

“I’ve learned that Marvel’s TV division is in conversation with ABC and ABC Studios about doing a drama series in the Avengers world. I hear that the the connection to the Avengers franchise would be light as the project is expected to be set in the universe and feature some of its themes and feel but may not include any characters from Joss Whedon’s blockbuster.”

ABC are still also developing a new live-action "HULK" show, which is still rumored to be set outside the MCU and also "AKA Jessica Jones" series. Again, it's unknown whether "AKA Jessica Jones" will be set in or outside the MCU.......still cool though!

New Poster For "The Sweeney" Released!

Lady Gaga And William Sadler Join "Machete Kills"

New Bond Game Coming!

Seeing as this year is the 50th anniversary of favorite British spy James Bond, merchandise is being released left right and center. And one of the things that's getting released is a new game for the X-Box, PS3, etc. The new game is called "007 Legends" and is based around the best Bond moments, villains, girls, cars, action scenes, etc.
It will feature one Bond, Daniel Craig and a hell load of fun. Craig's taking over the role of previous Bonds in each level, or as the game calls them, missions.
There are a total of six missions. Mission 1 is set in "Moonraker" (here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvpBYTxkVZ0) and Mission 2 is set in "On Her Magjesty's Secret Service" (here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WmmKvxflGc&feature=relmfu) The trailers for 3, 4, 5 and 6 have still to be revealed.

The Bond Clips From The Olympics & Sneak peak At New Trailer!

During the Olympic Ceremony, which was spectacular, Bond fans were surprised with a short James Bond video entitled, "Happy & Glorious". It was a clip filmed for the opening ceremony starring Daniel Craig as 007 and it involved him escorting the Queen to the Olympic Stadium. They then both jumped out of the helicopter and parachuted into the stadium itself. Here's the link to the clip: http://youtu.be/xW5abat5NEU
Obviously it wasn't the Queen, well the parachute part anyway, but it was still a funny and well put together clip. Sony were obviously taking advantage of promoting James Bond for the 50th anniversary and to the fact that the 23rd film "Skyfall", will be released in under 3 months from now.
And on the note of promoting "Skyfall", here's a teaser trailer to the new trailer that will be released on 007.com tomorrow afternoon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEh6NMdAuB4&feature=player_embedded

"Wrong Turn 5" Is Coming This Year!

Yes, unknown to me a "Wrong Turn 5" has not only already been filmed, but is getting released later this year, but in America only for now. We, the UK" will probably get it sometime next year.
The fifth film has confirmed to be a sequel to last years prequel, "Bloody Beginnings", but still a prequel to the 2003 original. No trailer has been released for "Wrong Turn 5: Bloodbath", but a poster has.
And good news for us, the UK, "Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings", the prequel to the 2003 original, is coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray over here in late October time.

Second "Avatar" Won't Be Out Till 2015!

Director James Cameron has confirmed with fans that the highly-anticipated "Avatar" sequel "will not be ready until 2015 or later.". It was rumored that the sequel would be released in late 2014, but no it seems the director has other plans now.

"Paranormal Activity 4" Teaser Trailer & Banner Finally Released!

Finally a teaser trailer to "Paranormal Activity 4" has been released online. It's just a wee quick 13 second trailer with flashing images and footage, nothing special, but it's good to see that it's actually happening after all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH5wUQYjS8M&feature=player_embedded
No one knows who's in the film or when it will be set. The second film was set months before the events of the first film and featured Katie's sister and her family. Then the third film featured the sisters when they were kids. I'm sure Katie will return some way or another!

"First Class" Sequel Will Be Called "X-Men: Days Of Future Past"

Various sites are confirming that Fox have confirmed themselves that the 2014 sequel to Matthew Vaughn's "X-Men: First Class" will indeed be titled "X-Men: Days Of Future Past". The plot of the sequel will be taken straight from the "X-Men" comics story-arc which is also titled "Days Of Future Past". This means that Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Gambit, Storm and Jubilee will all be the films official "X-Men". The Sentinels will also have to be making an appearance in the film too.
No news on wither Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine, but I'm sure he will seeing as he's just started filming the sequel/reboot to his own spin-off adventure. And also there's no news on wither some original "X-Men" will return too seeing as the stories plot is all about traveling back and forward through time.

UPDATE: Bryan Singer has confirmed this title for the "First Class" sequel!

The First Teaser Logo For "The Hangover-Part 3"

"The Hangover-Part 3" will see the Wolfgang returning to where it all began...........Las Vegas, for another wild adventure to end off the trilogy in a high note!

Comedic star Jay Baruchel is the latest actor to join the massively growing cast of the 2013 "RoboCop" reboot. he will be playing the role of "the head of marketing for Omnicorp, the company that is building the police cyborg." But his name is unknown yet though.

Nolans Goodbye Message To His "The Dark Knight" Franchise!

This beautiful farewell message by director Chris Nolan, has been taken from "The Art And Making Of The Dark Knight Trilogy" book,
Alfred. Gordon. Lucius. Bruce . . . Wayne. Names that have come to mean so much to me. Today, I’m three weeks from saying a final good-bye to these characters and their world. It’s my son’s ninth birthday. He was born as the Tumbler was being glued together in my garage from random parts of model kits. Much time, many changes. A shift from sets where some gunplay or a helicopter were extraordinary events to working days where crowds of extras, building demolitions, or mayhem thousands of feet in the air have become familiar.

People ask if we’d always planned a trilogy. This is like being asked whether you had planned on growing up, getting married, having kids. The answer is complicated. When David and I first started cracking open Bruce’s story, we flirted with what might come after, then backed away, not wanting to look too deep into the future. I didn’t want to know everything that Bruce couldn’t; I wanted to live it with him. I told David and Jonah to put everything they knew into each film as we made it. The entire cast and crew put all they had into the first film. Nothing held back. Nothing saved for next time. They built an entire city. Then Christian and Michael and Gary and Morgan and Liam and Cillian started living in it. Christian bit off a big chunk of Bruce Wayne’s life and made it utterly compelling. He took us into a pop icon’s mind and never let us notice for an instant the fanciful nature of Bruce’s methods.

I never thought we’d do a second—how many good sequels are there? Why roll those dice? But once I knew where it would take Bruce, and when I started to see glimpses of the antagonist, it became essential. We re-assembled the team and went back to Gotham. It had changed in three years. Bigger. More real. More modern. And a new force of chaos was coming to the fore. The ultimate scary clown, as brought to terrifying life by Heath. We’d held nothing back, but there were things we hadn’t been able to do the first time out—a Batsuit with a flexible neck, shooting on Imax. And things we’d chickened out on—destroying the Batmobile, burning up the villain’s blood money to show a complete disregard for conventional motivation. We took the supposed security of a sequel as license to throw caution to the wind and headed for the darkest corners of Gotham.

I never thought we’d do a third—are there any great second sequels? But I kept wondering about the end of Bruce’s journey, and once David and I discovered it, I had to see it for myself. We had come back to what we had barely dared whisper about in those first days in my garage. We had been making a trilogy. I called everyone back together for another tour of Gotham. Four years later, it was still there. It even seemed a little cleaner, a little more polished. Wayne Manor had been rebuilt. Familiar faces were back—a little older, a little wiser . . . but not all was as it seemed.

Gotham was rotting away at its foundations. A new evil bubbling up from beneath. Bruce had thought Batman was not needed anymore, but Bruce was wrong, just as I had been wrong. The Batman had to come back. I suppose he always will.

Michael, Morgan, Gary, Cillian, Liam, Heath, Christian . . . Bale. Names that have come to mean so much to me. My time in Gotham, looking after one of the greatest and most enduring figures in pop culture, has been the most challenging and rewarding experience a filmmaker could hope for. I will miss the Batman. I like to think that he’ll miss me, but he’s never been particularly sentimental.

Four New "Bourne Legacy" Banners!

First "SkyFall" Cinema Standee/Banner!

"Wolfman" Reboot Get's Official Title & DVD Release With Trailer Plus Images!

Universal's small direct-2-DVD reboot of the 1940's "The Wolfman" and the 2010 remake has finally been given an official title, release date and a first wee teaser trailer. I personally think that this is a pointless reboot now. I first I thought why not, let's see what they can do now. Then I found out it wasn't a full reboot of the 2010 well reboot/remake, but more of a remake of the lost film, "The Wolfman's Revenge" from 1947. It's more of a hunting film than a classic werewolf horror. It's pointless to make a horror franchise and reboot it into an action type werewolf thriller as it says in the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qyIZN-43NM
I for one was quite happy with the Benicio Del Toro remake/reboot. It was a true horror gore fest. Of course it was more extreme than the 40's classic, but it was a brilliant new version of the Universal classic. This is nothing like any of "The Wolfman" films, past or present. It's like "The Wolfman" is "Alien" and this is "Aliens", a sequel, but more action-packed than horror..........kind of like the "Underworld" franchise. It's try too hard to be a stand-alone werewolf "Underworld" based film. And the main guys trying to be the Van Helsing of the film. Not happening people.
Overall, it looks ok, but not great. It's more of a TV movie, like something on SyFy, shite but you want to watch it just so you can say that you've seen it now. Not a good sign though! I just hope Universal go back to the drawing board and make a true werewolf classic again like the old days or the 2010 remake/reboot.
